Today on Move the Ball™, Jen chats with Deshaunte Jones to discuss his “path to the draft”, including memorable games, challenges, and lessons learned from playing football at the collegiate level. Listen in as Jen discusses the behind-the-scenes stories and tips that Deshaunte shares about his success and what has positioned him to be a contender in the NFL Draft and successful beyond the game.
Deshaunte Jones is a wide receiver who played at Iowa State University leading the team with 76 receptions for 877 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns. His 76 catches is the second-best season total in school history and he ranks 8th in the Cyclones' record book for receiving yards. Deshaunte was second in the Big 12 conference this year and he ended his collegiate football career ranking second in Iowa State history with 184 receptions, 5th with 2,052 receiving yards, and tied 9th in touchdown catches with 12 touchdowns.
