Wendell Davis is a retired NFL wide receiver who played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU) and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 1st round of the 1988 NFL Draft as the 27th overall pick. During Wendell's NFL career, he played six seasons for the Chicago Bears and one additional season with the Indianapolis Colts. Wendell was a two-time All American at LSU, led the nation in receiving yards in 1986, and was the 1987 Most Valuable Player of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Wendell has also coached football at various levels (high school, college, and NFL) and he has also served as the President of the NFLPA Chicago Chapter.
