Why Athletics Prepare Great Leaders with Bo Porter

Today on Move the Ball™, former major league baseball player, coach, and entrepreneur Bo Porter shares how playing multiple sports in college helped him master time management and become a better leader. Listen in as Jennifer and Bo discuss living in the moment, why goals are the navigation system of your life, and how being part of a team prepares you for corporate America.

Bo Porter is an author, speaker, baseball TV analyst, and former Major League Baseball player who played for the Chicago Cubs, Oakland A’s and Texas Rangers. In college, Bo played both baseball and football at the University of Iowa.

After hanging up his professional cleats, Bo immediately transitioned into the coaching ranks during his post-playing career and quickly became one of the top young leaders in MLB. Known as “The Coach of Champions,” Bo is a humble visionary and entrepreneur who believes his main purposes in life are to serve, coach, inspire and empower others to champion their lives. Bo is also very active in student-athlete development and has developed training curriculums modeled after his book, The End Game.
