Women In Leadership: Amy Nickerson on Consistency and Perception

Amy Nickerson is an author, television and film content creator, lecturer, educational consultant, and diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism advocate. She has been married for over 30 years to her husband Hardy, a former NFL All Pro linebacker, former NFL and college coach. Amy's son, Hardy Nickerson Jr., currently plays for the Minnesota Vikings. Amy has counseled numerous student-athletes and their families about various issues unique to student-athletes, such as balancing the demands of school and sports, the NCAA college recruitment process, and general academic support concerns. Amy has also served as the Vice-President of the Hardy Nickerson Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that provides educational programs for disadvantaged youths, she has hosted her own weekly sports radio talk show, and she has also owned and managed a real estate firm servicing professional athletes and entertainers. Amy also published her book, How Do You See Us?, in 2019 and it is available on Amazon and Audible.
