BLAZE stands for building leaders and accepting zero excuses. Casey Richardson found this group with one goal in mind, and that is to create sustainable solutions for black women entrepreneurs. Being a black woman in corporate America is not easy. In 2019, black women in business made $24,000 per year. White women made $218,800 per year. Combined, the average revenue generated per year by women in businesses is $149,000 per year. Black women are one of the biggest groups but are making the lowest. This just doesn't seem fair, which is why the BLAZE GROUP was formed.
