My background in social work has always been my dream since I was 10 years old.

The reason why I did that is because when I'm from Chicago, illinois, social work is to come to our home to check on us.

When I saw this person come in there the show that she saw concerned about how we were treated, I wanted to be the same type of person I end up.

Well, god gave me this vision, the vision to be able to be a social worker in and out of the community to help others, but also to help people who have a low self-esteem and confidence.

Well, growing up with this abusive stepfather, I knew what I wanted to do and I knew that wasn't the type of life that I wanted.

So I started being an entrepreneur when I retired from corporate after 36 years.

So entrepreneurship means to me is to be able to build that foundation, to have a legacy in your own business, not someone else's vision or what they want you to do in that company.

Well, when COVID happened in 2020, I got in my office and I started doing webinars with other entrepreneurs to collaborate and connect and educate people on our businesses.

Collaboration and connections has always been very important to me and I wanted to make sure that I created this title to be able to share our businesses and collaboration with one another to be successful.

So when I actually got out to do my own business, I started networking with my business, ligashio, and that networking helped me to connect with so many other entrepreneurs, with people who actually never heard of our business, but also to help them to get their business set up the right way and to collaborate and to connect with one another.

So, growing up and not being sure of who I was and what I was going to because of the struggles that I faced in childhood my stepfather I had very little confidence in myself.

To have strong people in my life, I knew I wanted to do more with my life, having the triumph to get through adversity from life, business and problems I faced.

Well, I had tried them to be successful in our business and legal shield, create my own brand, deputy business associates and be married to my husband, dennis, for 42 years, and we had two married adult daughters, also six grandchildren.
