I keep forgetting to say that.

00:01:55.441 --> 00:01:56.905
The important part the like and the share.

00:01:57.206 --> 00:01:57.706
Yes, yes.

00:01:57.706 --> 00:02:03.748
So definitely make sure you do that, because that way you get all the podcasts episodes that I have, and I'm also on YouTube as well.

00:02:03.748 --> 00:02:11.659
But thank you, dr Chris, for joining us here, and I'm going to actually start with you and giving them a little bit about your bio.

00:02:13.062 --> 00:02:16.340
Dr Chris Welch is a chiropractor in Cobb County, georgia.

00:02:16.340 --> 00:02:26.769
For the last 24 years she took over the practice from her father and most recently they moved to a space on Vaughn Road right near Whole Foods in Kennesaw, georgia.

00:02:26.769 --> 00:02:41.562
The emphasis of the practice has always has been the community, which is why Dr Chris served on a city council for six years and created a Fit City Kennesaw initiative and brought the feeling of a corporate wellness program to the entire community.

00:02:41.562 --> 00:02:42.122
I love that.

00:02:42.122 --> 00:02:59.850
As a co-founder of the Kennesaw Grand Prix series, she's always put movement and health in forefront, and that's what I like about you, dr Chris, because I'm also a community-based and I do mentoring with the middle school girls, helping the community, because we need that these days, everything that's going on here.

00:02:59.850 --> 00:03:02.423
So thank you for joining me and telling us about that.

00:03:02.423 --> 00:03:07.169
So tell me a little bit more about yourself before we dive into some questions that I have for you.

00:03:07.830 --> 00:03:12.504
Sure, I am a wife, steve, and I have been married for 24 years.

00:03:12.504 --> 00:03:14.651
This year I have two daughters.

00:03:14.651 --> 00:03:33.502
I have a 19 year old who is wrestling in college in a very prestigious wrestling program, and I have another daughter who is about to graduate from Kennesaw Mountain High School and she's involved in track and anime and wants to go to Savannah College of Art and Design.

00:03:33.502 --> 00:03:40.288
That's one of the reasons I work so hard is so I can make sure my kids have everything that they want and that my family is together.

00:03:40.307 --> 00:03:42.834
So yeah, awesome, awesome, I love it.

00:03:42.834 --> 00:03:48.866
We have two daughters as well, and one thing I told them is that not going to college is not an option.

00:03:48.866 --> 00:03:49.766
You're going to college.

00:03:49.766 --> 00:03:53.550
So we have a graphic designer which actually does all of my logo.

00:03:53.550 --> 00:03:56.734
You see, there it's my website her and my son-in-law.

00:03:56.734 --> 00:04:08.305
And then I have my other daughter, who actually is an interior design, but she has her own business.

00:04:08.305 --> 00:04:10.443
So we're a family of entrepreneurs, and I have a grandson actually is an entrepreneur too, so he actually does a lot of my things too.

00:04:10.443 --> 00:04:11.126
But, yeah, thank you, thank you for sharing that.

00:04:11.126 --> 00:04:11.514
I appreciate it.

00:04:11.514 --> 00:04:12.006
So I want to ask you some questions.

00:04:12.006 --> 00:04:13.052
Let's dive into the questions here.

00:04:13.052 --> 00:04:16.916
So how important do you think networking is for collaboration and why?

00:04:18.278 --> 00:04:23.387
I think networking is invaluable, but I think you have to do the right kind of networking.

00:04:23.387 --> 00:04:40.533
I've been in and around closed networking groups, open networking groups and civic groups for a very long time and what I find is when you go to an open networking group and you're trying to sell yourself, that never works.

00:04:40.533 --> 00:04:47.021
And when you go to a civic organization, that's about you serving, that's not about you receiving.

00:04:47.021 --> 00:04:58.502
But when you go into a closed networking group like a BNI or a lead or a power or any of those, that's where you really deeply make connections and really find people that you know and trust.

00:04:58.502 --> 00:05:02.129
And then those people make you look like rock stars.

00:05:02.129 --> 00:05:03.754
So I'm a chiropractor.

00:05:03.754 --> 00:05:11.329
Those people make you look like rock stars, so I'm a chiropractor, right, and I'm also like the spokes in the wheel on the hub for everybody.

00:05:11.649 --> 00:05:16.187
The number of people that will come into my office and say, oh my gosh, I'm so stressed out.

00:05:16.187 --> 00:05:17.271
What's stressing you out?

00:05:17.271 --> 00:05:22.600
Oh my gosh, I'm going through a divorce and the first thing I would be is do you have a good lawyer?

00:05:22.600 --> 00:05:28.773
Do you have excellent coverage, like maybe a therapist, those kinds of things.

00:05:28.773 --> 00:05:37.314
But having people I truly honestly know and trust, that are outside of my scope are what make networking invaluable.

00:05:37.314 --> 00:05:43.992
Now, the open networking, so the civics those are incredible, but those aren't the places that are going to affect your bottom line.

00:05:43.992 --> 00:05:47.160
Those are incredible, but those aren't the places that are going to affect your bottom line.

00:05:54.180 --> 00:06:01.654
So I really find closed networking is great for that bottom line and open networking and in civic is really good for that community and that collaboration.

00:06:01.654 --> 00:06:02.355
Absolutely, that's great.

00:06:02.355 --> 00:06:08.045
Yeah, because actually we met at Kennesaw Business Association so yeah, so being part of that because I wanted to make sure I help families and businesses, but definitely that's.

00:06:08.045 --> 00:06:08.947
I love your answer there.

00:06:08.947 --> 00:06:22.723
So I want to do you a share, an example of a successful collaboration that emerged from networking connections and I think we actually did, because you actually joined our team, nika it's your team at your office.

00:06:22.723 --> 00:06:25.050
Give me a successful collaboration that you think.

00:06:25.639 --> 00:06:27.286
I think that one is actually huge.

00:06:27.286 --> 00:06:35.927
So you and I met at KBA and then, because I liked you and trusted you, I did and you liked and trusted me because you were using my services.

00:06:35.927 --> 00:06:41.428
Then I had a conversation because we needed to do a will and update our will after my mom passed away.

00:06:41.428 --> 00:06:44.663
So you were front of mind for me, I think.

00:06:44.663 --> 00:06:58.901
Another great one actually came from Kennesaw Business Association again, and it was a guy who was a sign maker like he makes signs and printing and those kinds of things and he saw me at one of the events and hunted me down.

00:06:58.901 --> 00:07:01.906
He ended up being in my building with me for 10 years.

00:07:01.906 --> 00:07:07.884
So you just never know that connection and what that connection is going to lead to.

00:07:07.884 --> 00:07:22.026
And as long as you stay open, regardless of whether it's open networking, closed networking or civic, remaining open in your heart to receive whatever those things are, Absolutely.

00:07:22.346 --> 00:07:27.237
I love that because you just never know and I actually, when I left corporate, I was in the business, I was in the business, I was in the business, I was in the IBM.

00:07:27.237 --> 00:07:31.154
I actually got into BNI and BNI taught me how to network.

00:07:31.154 --> 00:07:40.149
And I love the know and trust because you want to make sure that you know them, you like them and you trust them, because you may want to give them a referral, refer them to someone else.

00:07:40.149 --> 00:07:41.678
So I love that answer.

00:07:41.678 --> 00:07:43.283
So tell me about the community.

00:07:43.283 --> 00:07:48.163
As far as how you're into the community, what are you doing in the community with those connections and collaboration?

00:07:48.184 --> 00:07:50.209
with those connections and collaboration.

00:07:50.209 --> 00:08:01.062
So that's actually that's how I was able to put together this whole Fit City Kennesaw initiative was because of all the connections I had made through the Cobb Chamber with Leadership Cobb and all of my networking over the years.

00:08:01.062 --> 00:08:07.297
So we were able to put together a program that nobody should have been able to put together and it was.

00:08:07.297 --> 00:08:11.156
We call it Fit City Kennesaw and we had a big kickoff.

00:08:11.156 --> 00:08:37.410
And that kickoff we had Kaiser Wellstar, children's Healthcare of Atlanta, life University, the American Heart Association, the Cancer Association, big Peach Running Company, like all of these different groups all came together on one day and that never would have happened if I hadn't been authentically networking for a very long time because it wasn't about me taking from them.

00:08:37.471 --> 00:08:42.764
It was about me giving them an opportunity to do something that was congruent with their mission.

00:08:42.764 --> 00:08:58.524
So I think one of the most important things when you're collaborating is making sure that not only are you giving, but you're also, when you're receiving from other people, that you receive in a way that is and give it in a way that is congruent with their mindset.

00:08:58.524 --> 00:09:09.181
So I wouldn't want to go into a vegetarian restaurant and try to hook them up with a meat distributor right, it wouldn't match.

00:09:09.181 --> 00:09:12.023
So you have to always have that in your mind.

00:09:12.023 --> 00:09:13.586
Is this a good fit?

00:09:13.586 --> 00:09:17.663
Yeah, and when it's a good fit, then you just connect people together.

00:09:17.663 --> 00:09:19.538
And that's where the magic happens.

00:09:19.538 --> 00:09:29.297
You connect people together, and in chiropractic we have a saying that you never know how something you may say, think or do today will affect the lives of countless millions tomorrow.

00:09:29.297 --> 00:09:34.321
And that's just because if you're authentically giving, then people connect.

00:09:35.928 --> 00:09:36.591
Absolutely.

00:09:36.591 --> 00:09:39.042
That was a great answer because it really does make a difference here.

00:09:39.042 --> 00:09:47.101
So, with all the technology that we have going on, such as social media online platforms, how has this influenced your networking and collaboration?

00:09:48.004 --> 00:09:58.541
Oh my gosh, like I can remember back on the day when it was like we would do postcard mailings and that kind of stuff, or if we had a patient who hadn't been in the office for a while, we would call.

00:09:58.541 --> 00:10:02.416
And now it's like you've seen it, like we've got text message reminders.

00:10:02.416 --> 00:10:04.501
Now you can constantly be front of mind.

00:10:04.501 --> 00:10:11.121
Then you've got social media and you can do all these great fun things and like you're being able to do this podcast right now.

00:10:11.121 --> 00:10:14.888
That's something I've always wanted to do and just never had the ability to pull the trigger on.

00:10:14.888 --> 00:10:28.168
And then we have, like in our office, we do spinal workshops, because education is paramount, so being able to collaborate with other people and actually get our message out so much easier and it's free.

00:10:28.168 --> 00:10:33.466
You've got YouTube and you've got all of these things, so technology has just been incredible for us.

00:10:33.466 --> 00:10:34.087
So yeah.

00:10:35.216 --> 00:10:38.611
Yeah, I love it Cause exactly Because remember well, not remember.

00:10:38.611 --> 00:10:39.775
Of course we all remember COVID.

00:10:39.775 --> 00:10:44.049
So, covid, you couldn't go out, you couldn't network.

00:10:44.049 --> 00:10:50.486
So that's when I actually started getting on the Zoom platform and doing webinars with other entrepreneurs.

00:10:50.486 --> 00:10:52.504
And I say, and that's where the collaboration came in, because I like to collaborate with other entrepreneurs.

00:10:52.504 --> 00:10:58.119
And I say, and that's what a collaboration came with, because I like to collaborate with other entrepreneurs, how can we collaborate, connect and be successful?

00:10:58.119 --> 00:11:00.345
Because that's how you be successful when you collaborate.

00:11:00.345 --> 00:11:10.120
Yeah, it all comes back with no like and trust, but it really has been a blessing to me because with the Zoom, if we didn't have Zoom, dr Chris, I don't know what we would have done.

00:11:10.120 --> 00:11:12.730
Zoom, if we didn't have zoom, dr chris, I don't know what we had done.

00:11:13.034 --> 00:11:28.879
So it didn't yeah and it's crazy that you say that, because I say it in my office all the time that, honestly, covid was probably one of the biggest blessings that we had, because it allowed us to worldwide collaborate.

00:11:28.879 --> 00:11:38.902
Yes, and, and that's what we have to do there's always going to be tragedy, but if you can find the blessing and the lesson and the tragedy, then you can make something beautiful out of it.

00:11:39.803 --> 00:11:48.264
Absolutely, and it really was a blessing for me not to pick at people dying from COVID, but our business group, because a lot of people didn't understand.

00:11:48.264 --> 00:11:54.279
I remember I was networking and people said, oh, I'm not going to die soon, I don't need a will, I don't need to get.

00:11:54.279 --> 00:11:55.659
When I heard that, I was like what?

00:11:55.659 --> 00:11:58.384
And then even people who wanted to start their own business.

00:11:58.384 --> 00:12:07.029
So our business grew because I got in my office and just started doing Zooms and doing it live on Facebook.

00:12:07.029 --> 00:12:08.541
That's another thing I said I would never do.

00:12:08.541 --> 00:12:12.600
Facebook that's another thing I said I would never do.

00:12:12.642 --> 00:12:21.086
So all of that makes a big difference when you're out there, because when you have a business, you still got to be out there on social media, because a lot of people, a lot of businesses, did not thrive because they didn't do that.

00:12:21.086 --> 00:12:27.817
They just waited for it to open up, but then you lost your clients, right, so you got to keep in touch with all of them there.

00:12:27.817 --> 00:12:30.400
So, no, I really love that what you say here.

00:12:30.400 --> 00:12:33.586
So what role does trust play in successful collaborations?

00:12:33.586 --> 00:12:35.690
How can network contribute to building trust?

00:12:36.894 --> 00:12:39.899
Wow, that is everything.

00:12:39.899 --> 00:12:45.687
If you don't trust someone, how can you refer to them?

00:12:45.687 --> 00:12:47.971
And that's.

00:12:47.971 --> 00:12:55.024
I have a lot of interns that come into my office and trust takes a really long time to develop and you can lose it like that.

00:12:55.024 --> 00:12:57.884
So in social media, let's look at that.

00:12:57.884 --> 00:13:07.725
So you've got years and years of stuff that you've done and you've built this great thing, and then you do one stupid thing and it's all over the place.

00:13:07.725 --> 00:13:13.813
And then you get to this cancel culture and it's all over the place, and then you get to this cancel culture.

00:13:13.813 --> 00:13:41.500
When I talk to these interns in my office, I'm like guys, like everything you post matters, because everything you do matters and words matter, and that's the quickest way to lose somebody's trust is to do something that is incongruent with who you authentically are Absolutely, and I love how you have the interns in your office because you're teaching them the different, because I'm assuming they are in the chiropractic field and they want to go to the chiropractic field, so that's awesome that you did.

00:13:41.522 --> 00:13:46.778
And that's bringing in the community, bringing other people into practice as far as learning how to do that, so that's awesome.

00:13:46.778 --> 00:13:48.240
So let me ask you something.

00:13:48.240 --> 00:13:57.091
So can you provide some tips to us about how networking, collaboration and community come into play, any kind of tips you can share with us?

00:14:02.017 --> 00:14:03.259
Never underestimate the power of a handwritten note.

00:14:03.259 --> 00:14:04.703
People are not used to that.

00:14:05.384 --> 00:14:05.625
Yeah.

00:14:07.355 --> 00:14:08.196
That would be my first one, I think.

00:14:08.255 --> 00:14:17.547
When my mom and my brother passed away, I learned the importance of the way you speak to someone who's grieving.

00:14:18.048 --> 00:14:29.006
So instead of asking someone hey, I'm so sorry you're going through this, if you need something, you call me, and that's always put the onus back on the person who's grieving.

00:14:29.006 --> 00:14:31.172
So instead, take the initiative.

00:14:31.172 --> 00:14:47.870
So for me it's if I know somebody is going through something, it's just tell me where you're going to be at this time, because I'm bringing this and this whether it's a meal or sending flowers or something and doing those things when they're unexpected and just act on your heart.

00:14:47.870 --> 00:15:12.388
If you're sitting in a room and you see something that just that reminds you of someone, act on it and let people know there's these lights that are out here right now I don't know if you've seen them, they're called friendship lamps and you can plug one in and then, let's say, your 80 year old grandmother, who lives in three States over, can plug one in and basically can touch the lamp and then the lamp on the other side will flicker.

00:15:12.388 --> 00:15:15.961
People just want to know that they're being thought of.

00:15:16.581 --> 00:15:20.226
Yeah, it doesn't have to be expensive, it doesn't have to be anything crazy.

00:15:20.226 --> 00:15:33.855
I got these little boxes at the dollar store and they were called God boxes and basically it was a little bitty pad of paper and a little pencil and you put it in there and you could write little notes and you just turn it over to God.

00:15:33.855 --> 00:15:40.373
So if you just let people know that you're thinking of them and take the initiative.

00:15:41.341 --> 00:15:55.131
I love that because actually, when I first came to your office I love the I have it right on my desk here Things outside my control, things inside my control I immediately ordered those and I actually gave my grandson was going through some stuff.

00:15:55.131 --> 00:16:14.860
They'd send you three in a box, but I gave him one and I said I want you, because he's a teenager, I want you to put this on your in your room and look at this about things inside my control, like your attitude, what I eat, my behavior, how I treat others, and that's what I always my father always taught me treat others like the way you want to be treated when mentoring.

00:16:14.860 --> 00:16:17.666
I told the girls yesterday I said we were talking about gossip.

00:16:17.666 --> 00:16:22.414
I said you need to treat people the way you want to be treated, even not only personal, but in business.

00:16:22.414 --> 00:16:26.270
If you don't want to be treated that way, then you need to really turn things around.

00:16:26.270 --> 00:16:29.181
But no, I love that and I loved your.

00:16:29.181 --> 00:16:31.423
I want you to tell us about your business as well.

00:16:31.464 --> 00:16:46.494
But I love Dr Chris office because there's so much positive energy in there that you really get, get that, that, that information, the stuff that you get, not only the treatment that you get, but also the spiritual, the positiveness that you project in your office.

00:16:46.494 --> 00:16:48.544
So tell us about eating chiropractor.

00:16:49.386 --> 00:16:53.543
Sure, so my dad started the practice about 32 years ago.

00:16:54.245 --> 00:17:17.625
We were in downtown Kennesaw for the first 30 years and then we made a choice to move the practice for a variety of reasons and now we're in the most beautiful 3,000 square foot glass walls on the second floor, overlooking all these trees.

00:17:17.625 --> 00:17:19.262
I like to call it my little glass tree house.

00:17:19.262 --> 00:17:25.773
Right, it's so beautiful and my team found it, and I'm very blessed with my team.

00:17:25.773 --> 00:17:33.709
Loretta's been with me for 14 years and Cherie's been with me for about three now and she will retire with me.

00:17:33.709 --> 00:17:37.061
We've got an incredible associate in my office, Dr Aaron Young.

00:17:37.644 --> 00:17:51.067
He was actually you talk about networking, right, we were doing a lacrosse group for my kids and he was one of the coaches, but I didn't know that he was a chiropractor and he had just graduated.

00:17:51.067 --> 00:17:58.268
And the head coach came up to me and said, hey, I got this kid and would you just bring him in under your wing?

00:17:58.268 --> 00:18:01.804
And I'm like, yeah, no, I'm just not really into that right now.

00:18:01.804 --> 00:18:03.631
And he just was persistent.

00:18:03.631 --> 00:18:23.207
And so we did and we had Dr Aaron cover the office and fell in love with him immediately when he started covering the practice and Loretta actually pulled me aside and said so why is he not working with us and that's how we ended up bringing Dr Aaron in and it was completely an organic sort of thing.

00:18:23.207 --> 00:18:42.403
But in our practice, what we really we preach is education that you need to advocate for your health, Because I've watched I watched my mom go through some really horrible things with four different cancers, and the way that she was treated in the regular medical profession and, as a woman over 50, not listened to.

00:18:43.045 --> 00:19:07.710
I was actually just seeing a patient this morning who's getting ready to have a double mastectomy and she was coming in to get aligned before so she could make sure that she was comfortable, as she can be, and she was talking to her doctors and nobody was listening to her and she thanked me for encouraging her to make sure she was advocating for herself because they were going to give her a medication that she's allergic to.

00:19:08.520 --> 00:19:10.669
So in our office, education is paramount.

00:19:10.669 --> 00:19:13.228
And then we run everything on the five pillars of health.

00:19:13.228 --> 00:19:18.847
We want you to make sure you're drinking water, we want to make sure you've got some halfway decent nutrition going on.

00:19:18.847 --> 00:19:21.173
That third pillar is going to be exercise.

00:19:21.173 --> 00:19:22.780
We want to make sure you're moving your body.

00:19:22.780 --> 00:19:30.507
And then the fourth pillar is community, because we're only ever going to be successful as the tribe that we're surrounded by.

00:19:30.507 --> 00:19:40.971
And then the fifth pillar is that properly functioning nervous system and that's my job is to make sure their brain's talking to their body's talking back to their brain, and it's doing some of that nice little uninterrupted feedback loop.

00:19:40.971 --> 00:19:42.474
So that's how we play.

00:19:43.441 --> 00:19:44.722
I love it because I love your team.

00:19:44.722 --> 00:19:50.594
I tell you that you all are just such a connection there and make you feel so at home when you come in.

00:19:50.594 --> 00:19:58.275
So I love all of them there and I really appreciate it because you you're both Dennis and I are your patients chiropractors.

00:19:58.275 --> 00:20:01.922
So I always say, okay, dennis.

00:20:01.922 --> 00:20:04.067
So when he started going, I said, okay, I'm going to go too.

00:20:04.067 --> 00:20:06.413
And Dr Chris just brought us in and just it's been great.

00:20:06.460 --> 00:20:22.386
But the good thing, one of the things I do like about you, is that before you even start a treatment, you sit down and you take those measurements and you talk to the patient about their system and when you're taking the x-rays, you how our body is doing, and that's what I love about what you do.

00:20:22.386 --> 00:20:24.540
There's a lot of, a lot of other practices.

00:20:24.540 --> 00:20:27.729
Don't do what you do and that's why I've been to a lot.

00:20:27.729 --> 00:20:34.192
I've been in several accidents, I've been to a lot of chiropractors and you, your business is.

00:20:34.192 --> 00:20:35.777
I love what you do with that.

00:20:35.777 --> 00:20:36.844
Yeah, but no, thank you.

00:20:36.844 --> 00:20:43.250
Thank you so much for being our, we being your clients and your patients and you being our clients.

00:20:43.250 --> 00:20:44.977
So I truly appreciate that.

00:20:44.977 --> 00:20:47.924
So anything else you want to add to what you do there.

00:20:47.924 --> 00:20:48.846
What do you?

00:20:48.866 --> 00:20:49.709
like to do for fun.

00:20:49.709 --> 00:20:51.673
What do I do for fun?

00:20:54.040 --> 00:20:54.883
Let me, let me go back.

00:20:54.883 --> 00:20:56.507
So you have another business.

00:20:56.507 --> 00:20:57.250
You have the hive.

00:20:57.250 --> 00:20:58.340
Tell us about the hive.

00:20:58.701 --> 00:21:00.307
Oh yeah, so I've got two businesses.

00:21:00.307 --> 00:21:06.303
So when we moved to practice then I had this vacant building on Main Street in downtown Kennesaw.

00:21:06.303 --> 00:21:08.324
So we were trying to figure out what to do with it.

00:21:08.324 --> 00:21:16.413
And on one side we had an event space and we kept that because it just, it's easy and it's it's just so fantastic.

00:21:16.413 --> 00:21:25.384
It's a small event space that allows people to do like baby showers, bridal parties, rehearsal dinners, micro weddings, those kinds of things, and it stays completely booked.

00:21:25.486 --> 00:21:41.106
But then on the other side, where we had the chiropractic office, we didn't really know what to do with it and people always used to say to me when we were in this office and I say at the other office too, I just want to hang out here and I'm like the energy is just so good, I just want to hang out here.

00:21:41.106 --> 00:21:44.114
So we created basically a space where people could hang out.

00:21:44.114 --> 00:21:51.598
So it's an open, collaborative coworking for people who don't want to sit in a coffee shop.

00:21:51.598 --> 00:21:55.771
It's not like a WeWork or a desktop where they have a station.

00:21:55.771 --> 00:21:57.550
It's all completely open.

00:21:57.550 --> 00:22:04.432
It's just, instead of fighting with everybody else in the coffee shop, everybody here is just working and they're respectful of one another.

00:22:04.432 --> 00:22:08.512
And so we just put a little coffee bar on the side and it's open 24 seven.

00:22:08.512 --> 00:22:12.289
It's not manned, it's got video cameras and they just come in and do their thing.

00:22:12.892 --> 00:22:13.333
That it's not manned.

00:22:13.333 --> 00:22:14.698
It's got video cameras and they just come in and do their thing.

00:22:14.698 --> 00:22:15.019
That's awesome.

00:22:15.019 --> 00:22:16.884
That's awesome, and that is give us the address of that one.

00:22:17.005 --> 00:22:17.627
So people know where that is.

00:22:17.627 --> 00:22:23.872
It's 2847 South main street and that is in downtown Kennesaw, right across from Burger Fine.

00:22:24.493 --> 00:22:25.936
Okay, great, yeah, I've seen it.

00:22:25.936 --> 00:22:26.679
I have to come there.

00:22:26.679 --> 00:22:27.926
I missed it the last time.

00:22:27.926 --> 00:22:30.992
I think it was when I think my brother had died.

00:22:30.992 --> 00:22:31.594
We had to go.

00:22:31.795 --> 00:22:33.758
He did yeah, we were doing that dine and dash.

00:22:39.625 --> 00:22:41.333
Yeah, fun networking group, and I'm so sorry about your brother.

00:22:41.333 --> 00:22:41.654
Yeah, thank you.

00:22:41.654 --> 00:22:45.067
Thank you, I appreciate that and let me know when you have another one of those, because I definitely didn't and I would love to come.

00:22:45.268 --> 00:22:47.231
Did I tell you why we called it a dine and dash?

00:22:47.571 --> 00:22:48.795
No, why do you call it dine and dash?

00:22:48.994 --> 00:22:50.597
What's one of the worst parts of networking?

00:22:50.597 --> 00:23:00.626
Like going to a networking event in the evening and you're there six or seven and there's snacks, but like you're starving and then you have to go home and make dinner.

00:23:00.626 --> 00:23:15.628
So my sister owns a catering business so we had her make about a hundred meals and we put them in a cooler so you would network, have a cocktail and then grab your dinner on the way out the door and then you can just heat it up in your microwave when you get home.

00:23:16.109 --> 00:23:17.032
Oh, that's awesome.

00:23:17.032 --> 00:23:17.674
That is awesome.

00:23:17.674 --> 00:23:19.329
What's the name of your sister's business?

00:23:19.329 --> 00:23:20.073
Eatin'.

00:23:20.153 --> 00:23:20.513
Fresh.

00:23:20.513 --> 00:23:23.042
She does meal prep and catering yeah.

00:23:23.243 --> 00:23:24.567
Okay, I didn't realize that was your sister.

00:23:24.567 --> 00:23:26.732
Yeah, okay, okay.

00:23:26.732 --> 00:23:28.396
So you got an entrepreneur family too.

00:23:29.065 --> 00:23:29.705
We do.

00:23:29.705 --> 00:23:31.970
It is Entrepreneur Central over here.

00:23:32.269 --> 00:23:33.152
That's awesome.

00:23:33.152 --> 00:23:33.932
That's awesome.

00:23:33.932 --> 00:23:38.579
I really appreciate you coming on the show, but I want you to tell us how people can get in touch with you.
