The Aftermath of Divorce, Family Trauma, Custody Battles and The Healing Thereaf

Share in a few minutes with Mick and Kindra as they reflect on how Leanne is not only helping women and men in a divorce, but she counsels them worldwide from Dubai, India, Pakistan, Australia and the Americas. In addition, we talk about how you can start to heal yourself after a divorce.

Most men but not exclusively so, are harmed by divorce.

Divorce and custody is an international and growing problem.

There are cultural differences based on a nation's legal system and what part of the world people are from.

Children often come on their own to the alienated parent.

The biggest way to heal is to do things for yourself and normal activities.

Find a support group that understands your situation.

Avoid artificial stimulants such as chemicals, drugs, and alcohol.

In an early part of relationships, trust your gut if you feel something is off or wrong.

Seek professional help or counseling for assistance; even one session might be the answer.

Give yourself a year to eighteen months before moving in or marrying again.

Never couple for financial reasons that is not a good reason to move in with someone.

Take longer before making a commitment to someone if children are involved.

A professional can discern between narcissism, abuse, and the person should take responsibility for their situation.

There are individual programs geared from men and women; bear in mind gender differences regarding trauma.

There are modules and individual programs for blended families, work for parent's, and children's issues.

Parents must remain the boss to children and stepchildren.
