Our biases often cause us to have adventures in missing the point. We are so certain in our view that we lose all sense of clarity. Sometimes a simple awareness of how biased we are can shine the light on areas where we might want to consider entertaining an alternate point of view. It can help us be kinder not only to ourselves but to others. Some of our thoughts in this episode were stimulated by a podcast published by The Center for Action and Contemplation entitled "How to See". Here's the link to it if you want to dig deeper. https://cac.org/podcast/learning-how-to-see/ (https://cac.org/podcast/learning-how-to-see/) We also told you that we'd share the Maestro Margarita recipe. Keep in mind that the secret is in the intention of the mixologist: -Rim the glass with salt using a lime to prepare the surface of the rim -Delicately place the ice cubes in the glass. Remember, this is a work of art... -Add one shot of your favorite tequila. Stu does it with Patron Silver. -Add on shot Grand Marnier WHILE simultaneously adding the margarita mix. NO stirring, let it blend naturally! Garnish with a lime. Enjoy! Oh, but be sure to drink responsibly...
