Root vs Fruit

Otherwise it's an adventure in missing the point. If we get the root right, then these winsome, world changing character qualities appear like fruit in an orchard: THE FRUIT: Affection for others, Exuberance about life. Serenity. A willingness to stick with things. A sense of compassion in the heart. A conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. (Namaste) We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments. Not needing to force our way in life. Able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. So, what is the root? The Spirit! Do you want a life like that?
