THE SETUP The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes. It is based on the belief that thoughts are a form of energy and that positive energy attracts success in all areas of life, including health, finances, and relationships. The Law of Attraction is one [probably the best known] of the 12 Spiritual Laws of Universe. 20th Century Gurus: Norman Vincent Peale, Dale Carnegie, Og Mandino, Napolean Hill, Tony Robbins, Michael Beckwith. 2006: “The Secret” movie came out. There ARE cosmic forces at work. How do we apply wisdom to them? Likes attract? Not opposites? Is it the same as karma? Tends to breed narcissism. It can be all about me and what I want. Can ignore, and even demean, the shadow side of us. Not seeking the outer but developing the inner. Andy Stanley, “Are you the kind of person, the kind of per you are looking for, is looking for?"
