Wow. Where Do We Start?

In this episode we’re admitting that we’ve been struggling. Recent events in Washington DC, and the nation, have shaken us. Using our wisdom grid, we have been working though how to process these events. Our hearts tell us that you are, too. Our perspective this week rests in that, as Americans, we’ve got a big job ahead of ourselves. First, we want to send whatever mojo we can to Joe Biden and his team. He’s wading into a literal tempest. Whew! Mac and Stu admit that they had ideological differences and just couldn’t come together last week. What a great example of how to celebrate the “cocktail”! Our commitment to our Roguers (we are not a news outlet!): That we respect you. We respect your intelligence, your opinions, and your vulnerability in looking to us for value. That we will be honest with you. We will tell you the “truth” as we see it, understanding that it is still subjective, but that it has been run through our wisdom grid and we aren’t hesitant to land the plane. When appropriate, let you know how we might differ in our conclusions. That you have been informed without a hidden agenda of subversive influence. That we have Inspired you That we care about you. That we’re just a little bit better together. Instead of unity and healing, which are the current buzzwords, we think that the first steps center around civility and decency. We need time to process. Some things to consider: Personally commit to being civil and decent. Dial down the input from sources that are not practicing these things. Promote these perspectives to others.
