The Butterfly Effect has a quiet power. It’s an idea that was first proposed by Stanford University professors Edward O Thorndike and Amos Tversky in the 1930s to describe how events outside of our control can have consequences for ourselves-and sometimes those consequences are very dramatic! In this inaugural episode, Julie Lokun & Corinna Bellizzi join forces as they discuss The Butterfly Effect — where everything starts at its winged best… The symbol incorporated into Femcasters’ word mark pays homage not only thematically but also iconographically: We wanted something lighthearted yet eye catching enough so people would know what channel it came from when listening to their favorite show, Femcasters.
“Femalicious. Powerhouse females sharing their stories with the world.” — a quote from a future listener (perhaps you?)
