Today, we are joined by two very special guests Brad and Tronda Giles Y'all know what time it is, put those hands together was clapping in the comment section. Brad and trying to have joined us today to have an amazing conversation about the power of giving back. Brad and Tronda, thanks for coming on. It is our pleasure. We appreciate the opportunity. We love being here with. You guys appreciate the audience for listening and we're going to have a blast. Let's have a great time together and thank you for having us. Thank you. Yeah, thanks for coming on this one. Well, let's get right into the conversation behind the scenes as already being great backstage. And so I know this conversation is going to be amazing. Listen, I was made aware of you guys by my brother, John. He sent me a viral video of you guys at a grocery store. I think he was Kroger's or just a grocery store. That nature of you guys basically buying grocery for everybody in the entire grocery store and giving back. I was like, Man, we've got to have them on the show and all, and let me know that you have been on American Ninja Warrior. That's one of his favorite shows. But before we get into all of that and then I want to hear you guys is back story of who you guys are, what you do, how you met and how did you get into this heart and mindset of giving back? That's not what you want to start out, you want to get started where you are. That's probably how we met then because, you know, it's always interesting. Yeah, let's go. Well, on this one, we're walking up the street. Loch Ness Central is here just to step, and I thought, hmm, legs so that we don't look at Eggar, but I'll be on my premises right down the street and all of our cars that we was cool and that saw her walking. I was like, Makes you look good. So we went ahead. Stop in any of my friends going to jump out of the car and thought to drive. However, I got to it first, and so because I was the one to jump out the car and be able to introduce myself, I gave her my card and I was looking on the real estate with the make up. You know, I'm just Brad over here just trying to say, See you doing? And then, you know, she actually called me the next day. I was like, What? How does he call me the next day? And then like a three day rule or something like that before you supposed to call somebody like Toronto's? Like, No, I've got to call you immediately. Whatever you're words, I called you because I wanted to call you, all right, you know, get the phone straight. It was because I wanted to call you and I did. I did call them the next day, and I'm so glad it was you, babe. I'm so glad it was you at every one of the other people that could have been. But it was you and the other call the next day, but we didn't actually talk for two. Maybe a year later, though, just kept it the whole year that went by. Now, mind you, I did no and everything. I didn't have it anymore because I was like, Well, there's no point to have the phone number. We're not talking. So we went ahead and deleted it. And then she hit me up about a year later and I was hanging out at the mall with my cousins, and I hadn't see him a few years and we were just kicking it. And then she called me and she's like, I want to see what's going on. How are you doing? Remember, this is all like this. I was trying to remember who John is. She was like, You want to hang out? I was like, Sure, I know my cousin. I was like, Hey, I got to go, Man, this is trying to be like, You're about to leave me here at the mall. I brought in C in three years. Like, bro, I have to go. So you don't realize I got to go. So he would have been salty about it, but he was like, Well, you know, you married her, so I can say that, right? Though they've all worked out now, oh, board me and try to have been through all kinda stuff because I fell off my motorcycle or her on the back of the bike. We both tumbling down a hill is crashed up and getting tona bike over there, just leaking oil and gas all over the place. And I was like, That was like, what number two? Yeah. And I was like, Oh, there's no way we get another date after this thing over. And then I see a story about date number one, she had to pay for a meal. Oh, that that happened. So we get into all that. Haven't we would establish? Yeah, that happens. Yeah, he'd happened. He'd have a job, really. So he was always gone. He was always good. And his car was all wrapped. And let me just say that that's what this game is called overdraft. And I had a decent little job, my first real pain about to come here to Atlanta. But you guys who don't know me have, I can't do with $50 in my pocket. I didn't know anybody, actually. Brad met me when I first met Brad. That was actually the first couple of weeks. I had just been here and been in Atlanta. And yeah, I didn't. I didn't know anybody and I just thought I was going to clobber myself. So I just want to do something, get out of a house and do something. And then I was driving an 87 Chevy Suburban that was lime green. And you know, Brad, he met me then, but he didn't ever see the vehicle. You never saw that lime green Chevy Suburban, did you ask? Didn't. I never of the suburban. A ability to even say, You see place. Did you talk about keeping everything off limits? You only go into the new we go out. Yeah, yeah. So yeah, I came here with the $50 in my pocket. And you guys already know we're kind of we're well beyond that point now. But yeah, Brad maybe couldn't afford to pay for McDonald's. So at one point at all. Every meal? Oh yeah. Go do the line and the car decline. Yeah, wow. And most of them would be like, Work for McDonald's. Oh, now, no, you got to believe my number. I just found out that we have. Right, right, right. Mhm. But you never know. That person would be like, Oh, you know, I got to judge you because you can afford McDonald's at the time, whatever the case may be. And you know, I'll tell her, you know, sometimes you know, your money is just. Savings account, you know, since I transferred to myself, I can put you through all the way through what you say. This is how my bank account works, something less clear before the other money, said Lead. It was like it had to be. I knew that money. I knew I had at least $25 in my account. I knew I had to at least have that money. I had $25 in that dormant cash and I don't know how it happened. But you know what? So needless to say, we definitely went through some interesting little challenges at the beginning. But yeah, it still led us to where we are now, because as you guys probably know about wifey and as she grew up homeless and she actually graduated from what? Go ahead and tell them, Oh, so I mean, I graduated from homeless shelter. From the back of a U-Haul. Oh, that's when I first start school, when we first went on. I was home. I've been homeless three times in my life and my very first encounter with homelessness was when I and my family uprooted me from an environment. Oh, should I say I went with my heart? They didn't ruminate. They gave me an opportunity to basically either stay back where I'm originally from and I'm from a little town called Texas. And I had I was academic, was straight-A student district. You know, people wanted me. I had college scholarships and stuff like that. Are recruiters always looking at me? And so I was very popular Student Council class president. All those things and I left my all of my work to do this, to follow my faith, my family. And that's that. That's what happened. And yeah, when I first heard my first or my first days of school there, I got dressed in back of the U-Haul and. And, you know, I don't I didn't understand what didn't even really care, I was in high school at the time, but I didn't. I just knew I was in my family, so I didn't really matter. I went to school and, you know, they picked me up at the school. We went to a shelter that was high school when I'm in a new city at that time in Oakland, California. So, yeah. So that was that, and then I did we we we battled with homelessness the whole time I was down there. So for about two years straight, we were pretty much homeless. And because, you know, homeless shelters, you move every 30 days. We didn't want to find one that took us and for about my parents. But then we stayed for about a year. I started my my senior year there and we stayed there for about a year and a half. And it was one of those shelters, like where it was a lot of different people and we lived on the hill and he scores the purple people expressed that we get see like different donations and stuff like that from people. And, you know, it was just a unity of different individuals. A lot of us who had our own little places to say stay and all that, but either way. Yeah, that's that's how I got there, you know? So after that, so after that, let's flash forward, right? So with that being her background and her being the circumstances that she went through when she got with me, I was in a situation where I was doing real estate back in 2008, and I was like, Oh yeah, you know, I've got these houses and I'm going to go ahead and be able to build and construct and go ahead and like, you know, sell them for, you know, really good margins, whatever it may be. However, that's right when the bubble burst. So as soon as the mortgage crisis hit, I was like, I don't know what to do with these properties because they could not sell. Nobody was trying to buy that time, and nobody could really like, you know, qualify for the mortgages anyway. So I was just like, Man, I know we're going to do so. The housing start going to foreclosure. I had to file bankruptcy. Car was being repossessed, so I was always had by the dumpster. Like every single day, I would hear the tow truck guy coming upon that car, later unable to find his car. I got this thing hidden away on the other side and you will stay with me. But I think back in the back, I didn't know what he was trying to tell somebody letting go, find it at her house. The never go over here. But yeah, I had to go through all that. You know, we basically like, you know, realize it. You know, it was still like one of those things where it's time for change and try to figure out who had, like, you know, pivot from where we were and try to change their circumstances. And entrepreneurship was still kind of like always my thing. I was always like a person where whether I failed, it didn't really matter because I knew I'd still be able to succeed if I decide to keep on pushing. Because once you go so far down, all you could do is go up and know you tell them about how you're using a credit card to pay the Peter anytime you know you go ahead. Yeah, yeah. When we didn't have the money to pay the rent, then you can always use your credit card, make the payments for the rent and also pay your other expenses, but then just make the minimum payment on the car so they at least furlough you for at least several months so you can get yourself back. So, and a nice little strategy to put it all together to make ends meet your things. And so, you know, it worked out. And then that's when we started getting approved for a home health care services because actually one of the houses was going into foreclosure. Somebody had contacted me and said, Look, have you ever thought about turning into a personal care home because, you know, you could actually have like people living in the home, you can be able to take care of them and provide services to their home. And I said, You know what? I never thought about it, and I was taking care of my granddad before you passed away with cancer, you know, something I always liked anyway. And once it was presented to me, I said, OK, cool, let me go ahead and start learning how to do this. And then I took the classes, went through the state process about like learning how to get approved for like a universal care home provider. And once I got licensed, that's when, you know, I was able to go ahead and say, OK, cool, let's go ahead and set up our first home. And we did our first residential property, brought some clients in and started servicing them. And then it started growing and growing and growing and growing up from one home to like twelve homes in like the span of two years. And acid. Yeah, it was it was it was awesome, and we were like, OK, cool, we rock and roll it. However, then something else happened. We had all these crazy challenges with the state because the state was basically trying to make sure that, like all the big large providers were getting all the business and they didn't want it to go to the smaller providers. So we didn't realize how political and how bureaucratic it was like in the home health care industry because we didn't really think it was those situations where, OK, you know, we want to while large companies to do the work and then they give kickbacks to whoever is supposed to send them referrals and all this other stuff. So I mean, we didn't even know that was the case, but once we learned about all that, we'll OK. Now we've got to figure out something else. So then we switched gears and decided to home health care. And that's the business that we do now, as we've been doing for the past six years. And that's providing services to the individual special needs kids that have like cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, kids in a wheelchair bound to have trade ins, or kids that just need help with bathing, grooming transfers. The same thing that you would see with the person in assisted living home. You would see that with children who need assistance as well, and that's the services that we currently provide. Powerful, so so you guys went from homelessness, brokenness, all of these things to the success story that you see now. You know, many people say all the time people see your glory, but they don't know your story and it's kind of a clich, but you guys are living testaments of literally. You may see the story that we have now, the things that we may have acquired. But there's always a story behind the glory that you see today. And I think because of the things that you went through from what I'm hearing and correct me, if I'm wrong, it gave you that heart to give back to others because you all came from that broken background. And I write about that. Yeah, I think it's kind of one of the biggest generally who you are just in general, OK? Even if we didn't, I don't. I don't think even if I hadn't went through what I went through, I feel like I was always a giver. And I say the same thing about Brad, too, though. Yeah, he's one of the most generous people I know. Sometimes I really, you know, back up. Same with me. You know, we were the same way we were. I just trying to be give away so much money. I think they can say what it is, but just think of this person. So I beg you to give up. Yeah. Just giving it. But absolutely. Yeah, yeah, we've always been that way. And to piggyback off what you said about how people got to see the success, they all know, like the path to get there, I always message people say, yeah, it'll take about 30 years, become an overnight success. Yeah, yeah. Wow. Yeah. The 30 years that it took for me to get to this overnight success, I'm like, it's just it's a process, you know, in and out of time. But I mean, when you get there, it's amazing. And because me and trying to both been through these different circumstances, it helps you to the extent to where, like, you know, you still always remember where you came from. But when you have a natural love for people, you always just have it the compassion your heart to be able to give to others, then like just becoming more successful. All it does is just elevate the variance of who you currently already are, like if you're naturally giving a person and once your means become greater, then you're able to give more because you know you have more to give. So what exactly? Powerful. Go ahead, bro. Yeah. So most of the audience has no idea when we talk about the grocery store story. I believe it was a Thanksgiving time frame. Or maybe Christmas is around the holiday season, I'm pretty sure. Or maybe is or maybe is actually COVID time. But either way, my memory a little bit. That's how I found out about you. I didn't even know about the Ninja Warrior thing. I just, you know, I watch all of them. But, you know, let's be honest, my kids remember like a few famous ninja warriors and I don't know the names of any of them. So that was just like a bonus. And then so we saw this somehow this viral clip of these guys in a grocery store, basically helping people with groceries like purchasing groceries. I prefer you to tell a story. If you don't mind, could you could you kind of take us back through that time? I had it happen. Like, why did why were you guys doing it? That kind of thing. That was my inspiration came from, I found you. Oh yeah, that was that was a fun story. And you want to do a bit. I mean, you know, you'd a better storyteller, so to the point when we were out given early one a day that we didn't know we were going to be doing, and then we wound up going from one place to do donations. We're from that place to a park. And we did donations. We gave out a lot of used things like a necessity. And then all of us was a group of us, a whole bunch of us out there doing it. Yeah. And then we all lined up at a grocery store. Just. Just kind of randomly as well. Yeah, so basically, it was a crazy day of donations late in the day because I mean, like my little like what she was saying, like one place to another, like literally went to the homeless shelter, dropped off all the food there went out to like where the homeless people sleep outside in the middle of downtown Atlanta. It was like this big place car park and they literally like, stay there and they had their tents, they got sleeping bags and stuff like that. So we walked around a whole entire place, given out essential items. So whatever they needed like this, you know, help them get by. We gave that to them. Then we're like, Hey, guys, let's go hit the grocery store. So we're getting text messages from other entrepreneurial friends and they were like in like the next place to go, meet up at the grocery store. Before that, they were doing other giveaways themselves, like the gas stations, they were setting down gas stations. They've got a quick trip there that everybody's gas and you know, they let people come up and give them free gas for like two hours. Just fill it up, everybody at the bus. And so we all decided collectively, be over there at Kroger, that's on the east side of town. And that's kind of like, you know, one of the areas that, like, you know, was pretty much like minority populated. And it's a lot of people who just don't have the means to be able to get what they need during the holiday season. So we went there to that Kroger, we went ahead, came through the doors. We had all of our exotic cars parked out front and it was funny because the people who were in the car was like, What's going on up there at the top of the parking lot? Because that's the all Lamborghini that Rolls Royces and bit is part of it. Like what in the credit is about to happen? Like something just like this is something to stir it up. So we all we all like, you know, walking down to the to the middle of the parking lot goes straight to the entrance of the building. And as soon as we come in, we all look at each other, we see how many register they have open. We go ahead, talk to the manager to tell them, Look, we better set this thing down by what you mean. We're paying for everybody's groceries. And when this entire building right now feel like the next two hours, whoever needs groceries for the holidays, we pay for everything, whatever you want to put in your cars. Load it up, send it to the front of it. And everybody had their own leave me and Brad. I had hours and it was a lot of couples, so each couple had theirs and we happened to have ours. He came up with the idea to show these receipts in the best way. I can promise you that I received a lot of what a body body long. It was about five foot eight, you know, rather because I was like, You see these little receipts of light, it's like a chain. You know, all these rappers want to see this ice. What about these receipts of how much you gave away? You know, like, that's what it that's what it's all about. So I think we had about was 67 lanes over there. It's like literally everybody was like bagging groceries. We even got to run some of the registers and scan items and we just right in the cars and then you can see the line going all the way to the back of the Kroger. And we're just looking at the expressions of people's faces and like the tears of joy, the tears of then you have this little spread. And that's why I started getting bigger and bigger because Facebook and Instagram. So, yeah, people would send out text message like, Hey, girl, are you going to come to this Kroger grocery? Get to hands? Exactly. They would give you a shopping cart. So I can't say what was going on. Here we go. I'm sorry, but that is Lady Kopaloff Mustafa ghazals. I was. He was the guy going on those funny. And then, you know, you just you just got to see how thankful people were, like you were just like, so the gratitude was insane. Yeah, I mean, it was nothing like that. And then like, you know, all the people who are coming up to us and just, you know, just really appreciative of just being able to get the things that they needed before Thanksgiving, we had people telling us they like, Look, we don't even know how we're going to get through the holidays. We didn't even know we were going to have family dinner like we really didn't think we'd have all the turkeys or hams and stuff that we need to just cook dinner. You know, it was it was crazy. You know, pretty much we didn't really think it'd be the case. You know, it's like you think about the receipts that people buy, what people were buying. A lot of people were not just buying just unnecessary things. They were buying things like the food, the the things that they would need for a holiday dinner and dinners, you know, and it was so just touching for me to see that. And you look at how much people were spending, they wouldn't go on for $500 or something like that. It was actually spending about 100 hundred 50 bucks. What an average would you know? Mm hmm. Of course, it would be for something like that, and it was really, really I mean, it was really heart touching, really, really. Yeah. But we had a few when we didn't get to be like that car going all the way into the ceiling. That was the beginning of the campaign laying. We would. I think that there's always there's always a couple, but. But but mostly everybody else was definitely there, was extremely happy and very capable, so it was beautiful. That was that was an amazing day and we went, Oh yeah, well again, you're going to do it again. Yeah, yeah, we're going to do it. We're going to do it again. We're going to go to men who want to do it in Texas. Yeah, my little contract. I'm going to go down there and we're going to do it there. Well, we'll show you our record and we can definitely say to local Kroger, they go. Absolutely. You have a date. Y'all don't want to put it out there yet. We'll have a date yet. We're looking at Wal-Mart, so we're going it. The Wal-Mart. 00 hoo hoo hoo. OK, OK, that's in line. Hey, ring, are you ringing it, Craig? We got to go. This is going to be asked. It's going to be a while. Well, you know, so talk to us if they do. Yes. Well, you guys are doing is amazing because, you know, entrepreneurs in it's not 100% either way, but a lot of people look at when someone makes a bunch of money like, Wow, they have all this money they don't need. You know, the whole story behind that, why do they need so much? What people don't understand is that these resources allow great people to do great things, right? I always say, like, if I'm broke, I can't help someone else who needs money. Maybe I can give them some time, but I can't help them financially, which is a lot of the majority of a lot of people's. A lot, a lot of issues people have as as financial problems, and so it really gives people who are working hard hustling, succeeding a great name because. You know, we've met a good amount of. Wealthy, successful people and the majority of them are not takers, the majority of them actually do want to give. People just don't know about it. They don't know about the things they do and those types of things. And like, yes, your video went viral, but people don't know about. They don't know that you went in, you know, under the bridges and was giving things to homeless people and they don't know about it. Just see a few things. They see some cars and you have very nice cars. They see some trips, but they don't realize is all the behind the scene, things that go on. So that's why I appreciate so much about what you do, because even I'm pretty sure even your company. Is your sort of giving back in a different way because the health care game plan that I was reading about your teaching? It sounds to me like your company is teaching people how to basically be entrepreneurs themselves and succeed as well. Is that right? Yes, absolutely. Because the thing is, we actually we've already created five other multimillion dollar companies with people that we now just buy get into our program because we knew it was easy. You'd be able to make people successful in this field just because, like, we're so experienced what we've been doing it for twelve years now. So we understand how it works and we know how to make people successful with and that's why we were like, OK, outside of giving everything away when it comes to like these give backs and grocery store, so does Walmart said. Let's find a way to be able to create wealth with our communities. Other people who want to be able to create entrepreneurship for their families themselves. And then they can be able to go ahead and start making their own money. And that's going to create a legacy for them and their families so they can go off and do the same thing. And we have like, you know, ten, 20, 30 other multimillion dollar companies that are all being created. And that's just more people who can be helped by all. They're actually doing the same thing that we're doing right now with like the give backs and everything else. It just becomes a cycle of people become successful and be able to help other people do the same thing. Yeah, there's a there's a quote that says leaders shouldn't get to be seen, but they should be seen giving. Right. So some people may criticize, well, you're just doing this to try to go viral. Well, the reality is, if we're saying on one hand, the problem is people that have money don't give, but then the people that do have money are recording and saying, Hey, this is what I'm doing, and they're criticized, you know, it's like, you can't win. But once I saw that, it's like, it's amazing. And let me say this as a black man, you know, there's so much negativity that stems from the media about our community or who we are to see black excellence that you guys are giving back directly to our community, not waiting on someone else to give you a platform or waiting for them to give you some assistance to give back. My hat goes off to you guys. Oh, yeah, we appreciate it. I mean, I think the biggest thing and we didn't even have a clue that I was going to go viral, that's the kind of thing that I would say it was not supposed to be. We mean we actually going all year long. We give over at least three to $4,000 a month. Wow. Just consistently. So it's not something that we in our church knows this. So, you know, they're like, he may. I passed him a whole sermon about us. one day he just like you going to weep when you are. And it was in regards to the whole grocery store shutdown. But the funny part about it is that he was like, What people don't know is that you do this all year long. And then you just happen to get caught doing it. We got Nancy Pelosi to be it was supposed to go viral like that. That was not the thing. We had planned on a lot of things, right? So the very next giveaway, it didn't go viral at all. We did $100,000 at Walmart like the very next month. And that was right before Christmas because we wanted to be able to help people with Christmas. So we sat down in Walmart and literally did $100,000 with people all the way down. I'm talking about all the way down the block, probably three blocks down where shopping carts like it was each and every way. Yeah, it was way more insane than what we did at Kroger, but Kroger was the thing that went viral. But it didn't matter to us. We didn't care. We were just like, We want to give. We want to give, we want to give, we want to make sure. And it was the pandemic and we knew so many people were hurting. So many people were suffering. So we were like, Eh, we're going to start bringing some smiles and joy to all the people who eat it and we're going to show them. They, like people who are entrepreneurs, can't get back to their communities so they can do it in ways that are just, you know, just outstanding and things that they would never even think possible. And that was the biggest thing. But the greatest thing about it, too, was they created that whole circle to give it all over when it did go viral. There was other people doing the same thing all over the country, shutting down grocery stores, doing gift bags, other like, you know, big companies, Walmart and stuff that we were getting messages all over the country like, Hey, guys, we just did a grocery store thing over here for 15,000. We just did the grocery store thing. I'll be here for four, 50,000 another person like, you know, doing it in their other state. And so it was just all over. The place is becoming infectious. And I'm like, I want to be known for effective people with something that encourage them to give. Then, you know, to do something crazy or malicious or hurt somebody or whatever it is. It is encouraging people to give all over the nation that's what you want. Right. This is nothing, nothing great. This is the energy that builds, it feels incredible. Yes. Yes, go ahead. I was about the size, and I was just thinking about that. The rising tide raises all ships. Yeah. You know? That's all I was. Just think it was anything I was going to say. I just I don't mean to say, honestly, I'm not really a piece of this very often, asked Lafayette, because I think it's amazing. I mean, yeah. What would you? You have to give some advice to somebody listening about having that heart to give someone who's maybe, maybe they're hustling hard and they want to give feel like they can't. Maybe they're not in the position, maybe they are ready, or maybe they don't know they are or they're holding on to the , you know, my past, I had a pastor once that said, you know, you always got to keep your hands, basically. It's a hard thing, but it's like having an open hand, right? If your hands are closed on something you're no longer able to receive or give. Right, you're gripping something. You know, there was the story you guys ever heard of. I ever heard of spider monkeys. Mm hmm. Right, right. Yeah. So I don't know if they still do this, but these people would go catch these spider monkeys and what they would do. They take these guards and they would put their drill hole big enough for their hands to slide into it and grab a nut that was in there. And then what they would do is they throw a they would walk over, see these spider monkeys would put their hands in these guards to get them that are the fruit , but they would never let go. All they have to do is like go and keep their hands out right away. But they put their hands in the gourd and they're stuck. And so and then these some other country, they take walk over, toss the net over them, take them away. Right? What do they do with them? I don't know. Probably nothing good. But yeah, so it's called spider monkey syndrome or something grips on to something, and they just won't let go. And what does the box? Yes, they can't give the can't receive. There is no blessings coming their way because they have what's called spider monkey syndrome. Obviously, you know, suffer from that right as the word says that what do you so use or reap in abundance? And I think it's evidence, but what advice would you give for someone along these lines? Now, go first. You go first. No, you. What we do here and say, I love you too. I know other things. But the thing is, like a lot of people have to realize, like no matter what your financial circumstances are like being in the energy of giving, it doesn't matter like how much you have or how much you don't have. Because even before we had any money, like even we're going through the repossessions, the bankruptcies, the foreclosures, all of that. So we were still giving, we had hardly any money on our account, but somebody called us and said, Hey, we need to borrow $50 for this. We give it to all who might not even have it, but we still. You know, it's like, you know, my mom called me about something like, Oh, you need this, like, I don't have it, but I'll give it to you anyway. But she went, I went at it, but I'm still like, I'm in the spirit of giving no matter what, because I know that like, it's still going to come back. There's a lot of times where like, you know, you are in that vibration of being able to help others. And when you put that energy out into the universe, it literally comes back to you. And that's another reason why I like successes. The important thing because another good friend told us that each dollar that you make, you need to consider them as your representative. Now, how many representatives do you want out there representing what you want to put out into the universe? The more you make, the more representation you have. And if you have a lot of representatives going out there helping other people, then that's how many more people at a bigger impact you can effect on the world. And that and that really, really like you took the best. You know, we really, really took that to heart. And it's true like that because all the given that we did before, when when we didn't have it, you know, nobody really sees it because it's at a lower scale. But those things matter. And as you continue to do those things, they build up and build up and build up over time. And then when he got to the floor, we were more successful than, you know, you see it on a grander scale just because more people are taking notice because you do have like, you know, more financial means to make more representatives go out there and make it grander than what it was before. You didn't have it, but it's just being in that energy, being in that presence and being in that feeling of just giving. And it just it manifests so many incredible things that you don't have to worry about just being like, you don't have it because it's going to come back to you, you know, and and that's just how it is. And and can you finish? It makes me do or my my advice would be if is in your heart, then do it. one thing about when it comes to giving don't get what any kind of attachment. If you go and you give. Adobe today and you thinking about Adobe that you gave that person then you're not giving with a sense of giving is going to have an energy that's attached to it. I shouldn't give that away. With that being said, it's kind of like that monkey mind that that what you were just talking about, the mindset is I'm holding on to this with an energy put toward it. And so. I passed it, always said, he says, if you give with an attachment or the mines, if it's something that you say, if you gave that $5 to that homeless person, you thought about what they're going to do with it before you even gave it to them, they'll give it to them because by you giving it to them, you've already put their energy out there. That is not going to something good. But if you give it to them freely, it will come back to you. Just the same or not even thinking about it coming back just more or less. Let it be what it is and give it to them with a beautiful big heart of gratitude of being able to give it to them. That makes sense. I don't I don't know what the ruling is sort of like one of the things where you don't want to, if it's on your heart to do it. If you got 50 and it really shouldn't be a matter of the dollar amount, it should be a matter of the mindset. If you can help with the donation on the financial aid, figure out what you can donate to them, whether it be your time, whether it be your, your sentiments, whatever that is built, that will make it better. Be there to to work a register, find out where you can go to do the, you know, feeding us for the homeless. Like when I remember being in a homeless shelter, I remember seeing people as we were Christmases came through. We were getting random gifts, but I still got something I don't know. And it made a difference, you know, or there was somebody in line feeding me food. We were in a line going through the Christmas. All of us are together, but we share that same commonality of joy. It was receiving, you know, so that's the thing. And any time you give, they'll give you a sense of any kind of any help. If you feel like if you do it, it just to do it and you're not doing it for the gratitude or just for the joy of doing it, then don't do it. That's my back. That's really what it is. Don't do it. The Bible says God loves a cheerful giver, right? Is that attitude? If you're going to give grudgingly, you might as well not even do it because it's not. It's not coming from your heart. It's not yours is yours to give. But in actuality, it's really is. Is it really yours to give, you know, if you're holding on to it, you know, so it's kind of hard to explain it. But if it means you didn't feel right about give me her phone number for words, I selected the whole year for us to give back, you know that energy right there? I know, but I know that right? Brad, you I know. We know you've been on American Ninja Warrior, but I have to hear the story. Just how did you get on American Ninja Warrior? How did that? How did that I Oh, this story is hilarious. So I've been watching Ninja Warrior for, like 15 years. We have a wanting to draw you. OK, so what can we do you? So basically, when it was a man, it was his last game before he even brought it to America, and we were just watching like, you know, the Japanese subtitles and everything else, and it was when it was on G4. G4 is not a network anymore, but I love that show. I was like, Man, I, I got to be on the show one of these days. So like watching, watching, watching ourselves going to apply. But I never did. And then last year and we did the giveaway, one of the as does Ninja Warrior. He hit me up and it's actually Glen Glen Davis. And he was like, Hey, Brad. He's like, Hey, man, I want you to come check out my Ninja Warrior gym because, you know, I saw what you did with the give back and I think is, like, really cool. And I want you to just come take out my gym and he just want to talk to him about a lot of different things and how to make them better. And I was like, What kind of genetic damage words? I said, Oh man, I love that show. He's like, really like that. And 15 years, he was like, Well, yeah, come on through. So I went over to the gym, me and wife, he went over there and like, I was just trying out all the obstacles. I was like, All this super cool. This right here looks super cool. Like, Oh, that looks so dope. So I went and did all the articles, and I was able to do pretty much all of my first right. So I was like me, and I'm actually able to do all these obstacles in England was like, Yeah, man, you're actually really good at this. Like, you should probably consider trying it out on the show. And I was like, I've been on top of this show for a long time, but I don't know how to do it because I just on a website, you just fill out the application and everything else. You'd be fine. I'll say, OK, cool. And I was like, When's the deadline to do that? The deadline is tonight, so you probably do wait till I said, Oh, you know what? I'm about to go home and do it tonight. So Toronto was actually video recording me doing all the obstacles while we were out there. So all I knew was that all the footage that she had to me went home, got on my computer, uploaded everything started like putting together like this. My video, the show like a compilation of what we did, like the giveaways. They could see my personality and then also show like what I did with the Ninja Warrior obstacles. All were there, just made everything super fast because it was due at 3:00 in the morning.

58 a.m., so two minutes to spare a moment. Still, I filled out all of applications, everything, and then I was like, OK, well, let's see what happens, but I will tell everybody I won't be on the show and they're like, How do you know? I mean, I know they're going to set me. There's no way they can examine me, and they're like, But how do you know, bro? Like, there's 100,000 people applying and they're only going to accept 400. So they only took 400 out of 100,000 like, Look, trust me, I know. And that's the whole thing about love, attraction and manifestation. When you know and you feel the energy, you resonate with it, like no matter what anybody says, no matter what anybody tells you, you feel it in your heart. It don't happen. So for me, I'm going to be on that show, so they're going to give me a call. So fast forward, January came, didn't get a call, came down to February, still didn't get a call. They said the deadline for them to get four people to receive calls was like around mid-February. I didn't get a call, so I was talking to some other friends. They were like, Yeah, they're like, Brad, I don't think you beyond that because you get a call like, they'll trust me. I'm going to get a call. So I'm over here at Lamborghini Rally. We got 160. Lambo is going up 75 on the turnpike in Florida. We have helicopter support. We had a whole bunch of police escort blocking off the entire freeway. We did 145 miles in 42 minutes, which is insane. All of us were going between 180 miles to 210 miles an hour during the time that we were speeding down that highway. My phone rings. It's a lawyer's on the phone. I didn't get it because we were so fast, easy. It's like, Oh, well, we got to pay. It is it is worse off by the time we finish getting to the end of the rally. We parked on the Lambo. I got on the phone. I said, Oh my God, guess what? I got a voicemail for Ninja Warrior. I went to call them back and he's like, Hey, we want to let you know that we watch ourselves like, no. I told her, my liberal is going to be our judge, award winning pop, and I just like game time. Yeah, yeah, exactly. The drama galvanizes me. I'm on the phone when they talking to you? She was on the phone. Yeah, exactly. She's on the phone. I'll talked to them about. This is this is so hilarious. So yeah, they did that. They were like, We want you on the show. And then they gave you all the details and then the rest is history from there. And so it was incredible. And you did well, too. You made it to the semifinals. Yeah, all the way to the final. Anybody doesn't know that's the stage before you go to Vegas, and that's the point of view and trying to treat me all the way to go. If you want to kick my butt every single day, I would. That's right. They were like, How was he able to give them a finals? Only three weeks of training? That's why I was three weeks of it. And she got me a semifinal, so I was just like, Hey, that's how you work it and it's my baby got me no expeditious time. Well, Brad in Toronto, listen, this has been an amazing cover. Saison is very last thing that you want to leave with our audience. I mean, I would say we appreciate you guys listen to us, we hope that we were able to at least be able to give you some kind of fun and some kind of joy, some kind of humor at all the stuff that we're talking about. And, you know, just the focus on, like all the different things that you want as far as manifesting whatever you want in life, because if anything, you could take away from this that we have been through to my. We have been down and out with and been through all kinds of circumstances that other people would say, Hey, look, I can get trapped into this, and I could say that I won't be able to make it. But you know, we just continue to believe in ourselves, continue to have faith and then after that just persevered and overcame. And that's literally exactly what anybody has the capability of doing as long as they allow themselves to just manifest what they want. I absolutely agree with them.
