Now, in this week's episode, we will be talking about three ways to become approachable.
Now, being approachable is key to building relationships in the workplace.
And if anyone who knows anything knows, relationships are the bedrock or the foundation of the workplace.
I mean, when you think about it, when you really strip it down. A workplace with all this technology, process, systems, is really a lot of people engaging with each other, working as a team to get stuff done to produce a product, produce a service, and deliver it to the customer.
Those technology to process the systems, all of that stuff are enablers to people working together.
So it stands to reason that being able to build and foster strong relationships is the foundation of any organization.
So being able to build key relationships is important because it allows you to build a strong team, have trust, confidence and ideas with people, and many stuff just flows.
Stuff just happens. So when you're approachable, teammates don't sit and cover up problems.
They're open, they share. And this means we're able to bring issues before each other, and we can just get stuff out there.
And it just means people can learn. And it's a great workplace.
But also, you'll know that there are some people in the work place who they've just got it.
They can work with people, they can relate, they can interact. And these same people, when they get stuff wrong, people are quick to say, Yeah, fix it.
Yeah, they'll be fine. And guess what?
He's just a good guy.
She's a good girl.
And here you are doing your best, and when stuff goes wrong.
Everyone goes, "Ahhh."
And sometimes it's really about relationships, not all the time, but relationships go a long way.
It covers up a multitude of sins. But that's what I want to talk about today.
