While I’m writing my book all about money and the deeper reasons why so many of us struggle with it, I’ve been decompressing by rewatching my favourite shows from the early 2000s.
And what I can’t help but pick up on is the amount of financial trauma everywhere! So I thought I’d dissect Julie Cooper from The OC because even though she’s presented as a heartless gold-digger in the show, I think really she’s just doing what she needs to do to get away from her traumatic childhood in poverty.
