00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:07.559
Have you ever been curious about the deep transformative power of an ayahuasca trip, but felt unsure or uneasy about taking hallucinogens?

00:00:07.940 --> 00:00:08.980
I know I have.

00:00:10.009 --> 00:00:16.390
What if you could experience a similar shift in your mind and body using light healing and meditation instead?

00:00:16.690 --> 00:00:27.829
We're going to jump right into that today with our guest Janine Jamison Buckley, who is a holistic health practitioner, Reiki master and owner of Karuna Holistic Therapies.

00:00:28.079 --> 00:00:29.320
Together, we're going to dive into that.

00:00:29.614 --> 00:00:35.734
Alternative way to get that DMT trip that some of us may be hesitant to experience.

00:00:39.265 --> 00:00:50.005
You're listening to the new age, human podcast, where we have mind expanding conversations around science, spirituality, and alternative health to help you unlock your true potential and thrive in a rapidly changing world.

00:00:50.325 --> 00:00:58.484
My name is Jon Astacio, and I've been in the health and wellness industry for over 10 years, helping people improve their mental and physical wellbeing, using lifestyle changes.

00:00:58.515 --> 00:00:58.844
And now.

00:00:59.229 --> 00:01:00.250
Immersive meditation.

00:01:00.549 --> 00:01:10.170
And my mission is simple help professionals and change makers go from stress to clarity so you can navigate uncertainty and live a purpose driven, fulfilling life.

00:01:10.659 --> 00:01:15.469
Now, with that said, thanks for joining me today and let's get to the show.

00:01:15.469 --> 00:01:16.239
All right.

00:01:16.503 --> 00:01:18.123
I am excited.

00:01:18.373 --> 00:01:20.173
Janine Buckley.

00:01:20.632 --> 00:01:20.873
So.

00:01:21.503 --> 00:01:23.972
Um, first, first of all, thanks for coming on the show.

00:01:23.972 --> 00:01:24.563
How's it going?

00:01:24.933 --> 00:01:25.173
Hi.

00:01:25.183 --> 00:01:26.093
Thank you for having me.

00:01:26.102 --> 00:01:26.942
It's going very well.

00:01:27.013 --> 00:01:27.503
How are you?

00:01:27.733 --> 00:01:28.572
I'm pretty good.

00:01:28.612 --> 00:01:40.992
I'm, I've been looking forward to our conversation because I do feel like we're going against the, some of the current grain of how people feel about psychedelics.

00:01:41.003 --> 00:01:48.968
You have some people that like hallucinogens, some people that don't like hallucinogens, some people that are going to, they keep saying, you I'm going to do it one day, right?

00:01:48.977 --> 00:01:53.878
I'm going to, I'm going to, I want to take that ayahuasca trip and I want to see what I'm made of.

00:01:53.908 --> 00:01:58.888
And I'm on the side of that fence of maybe not for me.

00:01:59.418 --> 00:02:11.888
And, um, I want, I definitely want to dive into your experience with ayahuasca and then go into the, the idea of, um, why you went away from hallucinogens in that traditional manner.

00:02:13.478 --> 00:02:13.967
Okay.

00:02:14.198 --> 00:02:17.668
So, um, uh, you asked me a couple of questions.

00:02:17.687 --> 00:02:28.538
So my experience with ayahuasca was, um, after studying shamanism in Machu Picchu, Peru, um, I studied with 2 shamans there.

00:02:28.967 --> 00:02:32.508
And had amazing experiences, life changing.

00:02:32.918 --> 00:02:46.798
And, um, at the end of that whole journey, I was in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and experienced Ayahuasca in a hut with about 10 other people in a very black, dark hut in the middle of the forest.

00:02:49.217 --> 00:02:52.747
So, so going there, what made you say, I'm going to do this journey?

00:02:54.057 --> 00:03:00.348
Um, I wanted to elevate into that higher realm.

00:03:00.677 --> 00:03:12.638
I have done it before without psychedelics, but it was something that, I knew it was going to be transformative for me personally, um, and bring me into a higher spiritual realm of being.

00:03:13.217 --> 00:03:25.437
Wait, so you've been in that realm before, because usually people that, uh, usually their first, your, your average person's first experience of that realm is during the Ayahuasca trip.

00:03:25.457 --> 00:03:27.768
And you're saying you had a trip.

00:03:28.078 --> 00:03:30.198
Prior to that before ayahuasca.

00:03:30.217 --> 00:03:35.157
So if you don't mind, I want to get into that because I'm sure people are wondering like, okay, so what's this?

00:03:36.048 --> 00:03:51.682
Sure, so I'm probably an anomaly in this regard because I have that connection to this realtor realm I'm a channeler and I've had this connection since I was a child and I have had out of body experiences through just regular meditation.

00:03:52.143 --> 00:04:00.663
Um, I've had, um, transformative experiences, uh, doing these kinds of, you know, meditative journeys, sound journeys.

00:04:01.103 --> 00:04:09.013
Um, so I think probably, you know, I've, I've learned how to astral project, which is not easy to achieve.

00:04:09.323 --> 00:04:10.682
It takes a lot of practice.

00:04:11.022 --> 00:04:16.023
Um, I've only done that like once and that was like by accident because I was so tired.

00:04:16.423 --> 00:04:21.992
I think my body just was like, didn't know what, how to manage that, that the whole sleep pattern.

00:04:22.012 --> 00:04:24.802
So yeah, that's literally a trip right there.

00:04:24.802 --> 00:04:25.093
Yeah.

00:04:25.572 --> 00:04:35.293
Yeah, yeah, but the the shaman that I was collaborating with really encouraged me because I was really hesitant to do it because it's really intense, really intense.

00:04:35.802 --> 00:04:45.293
Um, but for me, for, for me, it was sort of part of that spiritual experience, you know, learning shamanism, right?

00:04:45.293 --> 00:04:59.372
Because a lot of the basis of what they practice is using these, the, the natural components of, of ayahuasca to, um, to get us into that spiritual realm, you know, to disconnect our body.

00:04:59.392 --> 00:05:00.009
Yeah.

00:05:00.009 --> 00:05:01.242
You know.

00:05:03.903 --> 00:05:04.382
Okay.

00:05:04.512 --> 00:05:24.523
And then, so, prior to that trip, you already, like, you've done, you've had, you've figured out how to go outside of your body, you've already been in this world, and this, in self discovery and understanding, like, how the body works, and, and it looks like the Ayahuasca trip, like, you're saying you, you, you, were you working with the shaman prior?

00:05:25.077 --> 00:05:29.257
To the ayahuasca trip on other things, but you'd never did that an ayahuasca trip

00:05:29.708 --> 00:05:30.218
right

00:05:30.338 --> 00:05:30.877
until then.

00:05:30.877 --> 00:05:31.098
Okay.

00:05:31.098 --> 00:05:43.728
So when you went to the ayahuasca trip, um, I think I said ayahuasca like five times already, like in two sentences, the trip psychedelics.

00:05:44.148 --> 00:05:49.298
Uh, so when you went on that trip, do you mind sharing what you saw?

00:05:49.737 --> 00:05:54.408
Because it seems like something happened where it was just too much.

00:05:54.567 --> 00:05:55.538
That's my guess.

00:05:56.697 --> 00:05:58.398
And then you didn't want to do it anymore.

00:05:58.487 --> 00:05:59.517
No, it wasn't.

00:05:59.567 --> 00:06:00.778
It wasn't too much.

00:06:00.827 --> 00:06:04.077
Um, I, um, I loved it.

00:06:04.088 --> 00:06:07.278
Like, I feel like I got downloaded secrets to the universe.

00:06:07.288 --> 00:06:08.338
I went out of my body.

00:06:08.338 --> 00:06:21.322
I was shown visions of Like how people came to be there, where we came from, you know, there's a book pending on all of this, um, because it's so, it was so intense.

00:06:21.632 --> 00:06:27.033
Um, I'm not saying I would never do it again, but the circumstances would have to be right.

00:06:27.093 --> 00:06:32.673
And I'd have to be in the right mental state to, to do that again.

00:06:33.043 --> 00:06:33.382
Right.

00:06:33.543 --> 00:06:33.723
Right.

00:06:33.723 --> 00:06:33.913
Yeah.

00:06:34.293 --> 00:06:44.173
When, when you had that trip, um, You said it was a great experience and you had a download, you had downloads.

00:06:44.502 --> 00:06:46.112
Um, did you see anything?

00:06:46.132 --> 00:06:47.603
Did you have visions?

00:06:47.673 --> 00:06:50.512
Do you mind like briefly describing your trip?

00:06:50.543 --> 00:06:54.992
I, I feel like whenever I talk to someone, I'm, I know someone wants to know like, what did you see?

00:06:54.992 --> 00:06:57.372
Did you see the, the, the little people?

00:06:57.382 --> 00:07:00.762
Did you, you know, did, did a tree talk to you, you know?

00:07:01.043 --> 00:07:02.273
So it's always interesting.

00:07:02.312 --> 00:07:05.983
So during an ayahuasca experience, a shaman usually chants.

00:07:06.512 --> 00:07:12.942
And it uses a rattle, um, and what he's doing is he's chanting to keep evil spirits away from you.

00:07:13.572 --> 00:07:19.012
Because when you open yourself to the, to the spiritual realm, there is good and evil in the world.

00:07:19.023 --> 00:07:21.233
There are good and evil forces out there.

00:07:21.692 --> 00:07:25.283
And so that's his purpose is he's trying to keep us protected.

00:07:25.903 --> 00:07:27.062
And while he's doing this.

00:07:27.533 --> 00:07:37.202
Um, during it, everyone was laying in Savasana around in a circle and he was in the middle of the circular hut, pitch black, like he think they blew out the candles.

00:07:37.202 --> 00:07:38.983
Like, you can't see anything in front of you.

00:07:39.523 --> 00:07:41.702
And my mind was playing tricks on me.

00:07:42.262 --> 00:07:52.552
And I actually cheated a little bit and had my put my phone upside down, you know, because I wanted to make sure like, is, is it my brain or am I like, am I hallucinating?

00:07:52.552 --> 00:07:54.132
Or is this like reality?

00:07:54.533 --> 00:07:57.223
It was my way of keeping myself like, kind of grounded.

00:07:58.083 --> 00:08:01.233
Um, I went out of my, I went out of my body.

00:08:01.302 --> 00:08:01.752
Um.

00:08:03.447 --> 00:08:10.077
And all of the things that I had done for the previous time that I was with the shaman, like, kind of came full circle.

00:08:10.348 --> 00:08:17.447
So I did actually feel evil coming towards me, and I was able to shift it and imagine myself.

00:08:18.398 --> 00:08:44.993
Floating and actually would feel like I was taken out of my body and flew out of my body with a spirit guide who basically flew me over Machu Picchu and showed me a light coming down from the sky and how people basically came to come on to this It's that part of the world and, um, some other things, I don't know if I'm willing to share, but like, that's sort of the gist of it.

00:08:45.982 --> 00:08:46.572
Wow.

00:08:46.732 --> 00:08:47.253
Wow.

00:08:47.413 --> 00:08:47.753
Okay.

00:08:48.013 --> 00:08:48.432
Wow.

00:08:48.533 --> 00:08:50.092
That's, that's, that's freaky.

00:08:50.393 --> 00:08:59.812
And it's interesting how you said, you know, you still, even with the shaman chanting, you still saw some like evil in the area and you were like, you know, let me just go fly and go and stay connected to this guide.

00:09:00.043 --> 00:09:01.432
So that's an interesting experience.

00:09:01.432 --> 00:09:14.898
It's just flying around, seeing like the origins of the locals in the area and, um, Instead of getting deep into that experience, we're here to talk about more of your experiences after that and why you're doing that.

00:09:15.217 --> 00:09:17.238
Um, so let's, let's get into that.

00:09:17.918 --> 00:09:18.238
Okay.

00:09:18.548 --> 00:09:25.673
So, after that trip, you got into You got into light therapy.

00:09:25.673 --> 00:09:32.993
You started doing other projects, but essentially you decided not to go the direction of psychedelics to help people.

00:09:33.732 --> 00:09:37.903
You went the direction of, would you call it sober psychedelics?

00:09:39.613 --> 00:09:40.192
Yeah.

00:09:40.192 --> 00:09:52.982
So, you know, I had, I had this business in Hawaii, Coronalistic Therapies, and I was doing Reiki healing and meditation and channeling NLP, some grief recovery.

00:09:53.383 --> 00:10:05.442
Um, but when I decided to transfer it here to Connecticut, I decided that I really wanted to focus on as a holistic health practitioner, I really wanted to focus on that mind body connection.

00:10:06.253 --> 00:10:13.633
Um, how do I help people feel well by healing their mind so that they can then heal their body and spirit.

00:10:14.633 --> 00:10:17.633
So that's the reason behind it.

00:10:18.518 --> 00:10:21.548
And, um, why not psychedelics?

00:10:21.998 --> 00:10:25.427
Why lights and other avenues?

00:10:25.668 --> 00:10:26.168
Sure.

00:10:26.227 --> 00:10:33.457
Well, first of all, so what we call sober, sober psychedelics, which there's a great article on rock siever.

00:10:33.498 --> 00:10:37.067
com, which is, uh, the manufacturer of the light that I use.

00:10:37.577 --> 00:10:38.597
Um, if you go on rock siever.

00:10:38.597 --> 00:10:41.177
com, you can read a great article about sober psychedelics.

00:10:41.687 --> 00:10:44.128
It's by, uh, a gentleman named.

00:10:44.807 --> 00:10:46.967
Uh, Lance Carter from this year,

00:10:47.118 --> 00:10:50.268
if anything, send me that link and I'll throw it in the show notes.

00:10:50.298 --> 00:10:50.758
Sure.

00:10:50.868 --> 00:10:51.347
Sure.

00:10:51.618 --> 00:10:58.077
Uh, you know, we know that there's a lot of excitement about psychedelics possibly being used legally over the, over more recent years.

00:10:58.077 --> 00:10:58.437
Right.

00:10:58.498 --> 00:11:03.778
So, um, there's remarkable results that they are, they're finding right.

00:11:03.817 --> 00:11:05.508
And in the power of.

00:11:06.192 --> 00:11:20.403
Um, a substance use in a micro dose controlled environment to, um, heal our brain to, to reprogram our thinking to heal us from past trauma, to relieve pain to help us just.

00:11:20.918 --> 00:11:23.388
And overall, overall well being to feel good.

00:11:25.857 --> 00:11:26.187
Hmm.

00:11:26.227 --> 00:11:26.868
Interesting.

00:11:27.317 --> 00:11:33.668
And so you're saying you're, you're okay with microdosing, like it's, it's fine.

00:11:34.878 --> 00:11:40.337
I think it's up to the person's personal, personal opinion, you know, what they want to put in their body.

00:11:40.337 --> 00:11:45.207
But the, the, the sober psychedelics, like the light therapy is there's no side effects.

00:11:45.822 --> 00:11:50.812
Like you don't have to worry about putting, like nowadays we have things like fentanyl being thrown into our drugs.

00:11:51.293 --> 00:11:53.722
We don't want to be, we don't want to be exposed to that.

00:11:54.602 --> 00:12:00.552
You know, you could be thinking you're taking a psychedelic and next thing you know, you have this other substance in your body making you ill.

00:12:01.302 --> 00:12:06.658
Um, so using light therapy, number one, it's controlled.

00:12:07.008 --> 00:12:08.847
Number two, there's no side effects.

00:12:08.908 --> 00:12:24.508
And the third part of that is that, um, you know, you have that ease of mind knowing that it's a, it's a safe way to experience the same benefits that you could say micro dosing or using, um, DMT or, or, or psychedelic.

00:12:24.998 --> 00:12:30.687
Um, but without that possibility of those side effects,

00:12:31.357 --> 00:12:49.347
yeah, and I get it and you brought up a good point because when I was growing up, um, you know, you have friends that, uh, offer you narcotics and, uh, the biggest Worry for me of somebody offering me a, a narcotic or like a hallucinogen or something like that.

00:12:49.347 --> 00:12:53.798
I was always wondered wondering, where is it sourced?

00:12:53.798 --> 00:12:55.057
Where is it coming from?

00:12:55.508 --> 00:13:06.207
Because I've heard horror stories of people just having wild experiences that were just unchained and even like to the extent where they, they're just stuck in that zone.

00:13:06.207 --> 00:13:10.217
And I, and I would just, you know, me and, and my past over.

00:13:10.427 --> 00:13:15.278
Analyzing, overthinking, I freaked, I sold myself out of doing that.

00:13:15.278 --> 00:13:19.368
I was just like, I don't want to get stuck forever in an insane asylum.

00:13:20.082 --> 00:13:27.523
Rocking back and forth talking about, you know, someone's going to pour me over because I am a cup of orange juice.

00:13:27.562 --> 00:13:34.682
My wife told me that a friend of hers thought that they were a cup of orange juice and they didn't want anybody to touch them because they thought they were going to spill.

00:13:34.682 --> 00:13:36.722
And I'm like, I don't want that.

00:13:37.472 --> 00:13:37.702
What?

00:13:38.773 --> 00:13:41.322
And then you, you know, you just, Prove my point.

00:13:41.332 --> 00:13:43.523
Like you never know, especially nowadays, right?

00:13:43.523 --> 00:13:44.842
There's a lot of stuff going on.

00:13:45.273 --> 00:14:01.763
Um, and there's more people that are trying to get around stress and, and, and think differently and they want to improve their lives, but there's all these options and some of them are, are risky and, and are you really going to do the research and pay the extra money to get like the really good quality stuff?

00:14:02.352 --> 00:14:10.082
And I like the idea of light therapy because it's, I would say it's, I would consider it non invasive and it's lights.

00:14:10.102 --> 00:14:11.163
Your body's designed.

00:14:11.173 --> 00:14:12.352
It is part lights.

00:14:12.363 --> 00:14:13.023
It is light.

00:14:13.043 --> 00:14:14.743
And we are exposed to light.

00:14:15.628 --> 00:14:16.658
all the time.

00:14:16.707 --> 00:14:20.648
So it knows how to speak that language a lot better.

00:14:20.648 --> 00:14:23.288
And it's, you're not going to turn into a cup of orange juice.

00:14:23.538 --> 00:14:24.248
No, you're not.

00:14:24.288 --> 00:14:27.648
And everybody, everybody has, you know, a different tolerance.

00:14:27.707 --> 00:14:32.347
Everyone is a different size, shape, weight, um, going into a psychedelic.

00:14:32.347 --> 00:14:57.913
If you're not in it, depending on your state of mind, it can affect you like so many things that, um, It's not, you know, there's too many variables there and that's why you find most people are not, are not going to do that, but, but the light therapy creates the synthetic version of a psychedelic that gives you those benefits with that, uh, without the psychedelic experience of, of, uh, of, of that substance.

00:14:58.307 --> 00:15:02.567
I think this would be a perfect time for me to share that I went through your light therapy.

00:15:03.327 --> 00:15:08.048
I did a session, I threw an event and you came and that's when we met.

00:15:08.398 --> 00:15:14.307
And then after the event, you're, you're like, um, you know, you, you decided to offer a session.

00:15:14.307 --> 00:15:16.148
So a couple of us raised our hands.

00:15:16.148 --> 00:15:19.758
And I remember you saying that it really depends on the audience.

00:15:19.768 --> 00:15:24.321
Some people don't, aren't attracted, like you go to events, right?

00:15:24.321 --> 00:15:30.758
And, um, some people aren't attracted to the idea of, um, a, hallucinogenic trip.

00:15:30.778 --> 00:15:33.837
And, and so you have to be cautious on what you say.

00:15:34.258 --> 00:15:39.187
And I remember you asking us, what type of experience do you guys want?

00:15:39.187 --> 00:15:40.177
And it's a small group of us.

00:15:40.177 --> 00:15:42.248
So like we, and we all came from the same event.

00:15:43.168 --> 00:15:45.107
And you're like, do you want better sleep?

00:15:45.187 --> 00:15:47.587
Do you want, what were the options?

00:15:47.587 --> 00:15:50.587
Because I know we chose the one that you, you weren't really sure of.

00:15:50.923 --> 00:15:51.293
Right.

00:15:51.302 --> 00:15:53.293
So there, there's 3 different ones.

00:15:53.293 --> 00:16:02.092
Some are special purpose, like with hypnosis or when someone comes to me for like something specific, like, um, insomnia or smoking secession.

00:16:02.133 --> 00:16:02.432
Yes.

00:16:02.442 --> 00:16:03.383
It could be another example.

00:16:03.873 --> 00:16:06.432
Um, then there's meditation ones.

00:16:06.732 --> 00:16:11.802
That are a little bit more subtle, but equally as effective, but they're not as intense.

00:16:11.812 --> 00:16:18.793
And then we have the psychedelic journeys, which masquerade like the DMT experience, which you have to be ready for.

00:16:18.793 --> 00:16:22.123
You have to be willing to let yourself go and go into this journey.

00:16:22.842 --> 00:16:32.783
And, and, uh, when you gave us those options, we all, we were all like, I want to have that, uh, that hallucinogen, well, the last one where I want to see some crazy stuff.

00:16:32.812 --> 00:16:33.312
Let's go.

00:16:34.863 --> 00:16:36.873
And, and one of us has gone on a trip.

00:16:36.873 --> 00:16:38.243
So they're like all for us.

00:16:38.243 --> 00:16:41.873
So we were just like, all right, I'm like, whatever you guys want to do, let's go.

00:16:42.202 --> 00:16:44.403
Um, I'm not worried because it's just light.

00:16:44.403 --> 00:16:45.753
So I was all for it.

00:16:46.312 --> 00:17:12.097
And, um, Yeah, when I, I don't want to say went under, but you know, I closed my eyes and you, I saw geometry, I saw shapes, I saw colors, I saw patterns, and then I, afterwards I asked you, I'm like, that's really cool how your light can do that, do all the different colors, and you're like, it's just white light, John, with frequency.

00:17:13.323 --> 00:17:14.173
And I'm like, wait, wait, wait.

00:17:14.353 --> 00:17:17.853
So my mind created all that other stuff where it's like all these shapes.

00:17:18.093 --> 00:17:19.843
And it was a freaky experience.

00:17:19.893 --> 00:17:22.063
And yeah, I was feeling good.

00:17:22.063 --> 00:17:24.053
And I'm pretty sure I had a really good night's rest.

00:17:24.053 --> 00:17:26.252
It was like a year ago now.

00:17:26.532 --> 00:17:27.583
Yeah, it was about a year ago.

00:17:28.002 --> 00:17:29.932
It was a cool experience, I would say, for sure.

00:17:29.982 --> 00:17:31.387
And we were definitely like.

00:17:31.647 --> 00:17:33.958
Relaxed to say the least.

00:17:33.958 --> 00:17:35.607
So that was a pretty cool experience.

00:17:35.607 --> 00:17:52.028
Like I didn't think that light and frequency could do that in your eyes, but it does make sense because if you're, uh, if you're familiar with cymatics, right, when you apply sound to material, it does create geometric shapes because sound is harmonic.

00:17:52.048 --> 00:17:52.738
And then you have.

00:17:53.133 --> 00:17:53.942
It's all connected.

00:17:53.942 --> 00:18:00.022
So I'm wondering if it just means like the liquid in my eyes, like make turns, you know?

00:18:00.583 --> 00:18:05.252
Well, it triggers, it triggers brain waves, um, through that though.

00:18:05.252 --> 00:18:11.323
But, but, so let me explain if, um, um, what, what the device actually is.

00:18:11.333 --> 00:18:14.673
So it does, it combines this stroboscopic white light.

00:18:15.173 --> 00:18:18.452
What sound to induce this state of mind, right?

00:18:18.452 --> 00:18:21.363
This meditative state of mind or psychedelic state of mind.

00:18:21.363 --> 00:18:22.742
However, you know, you want to put it.

00:18:23.053 --> 00:18:28.643
We, um, we also sometimes refer to it as hypnagogic light machine or audio visual brainwave entrainment.

00:18:29.022 --> 00:18:33.833
That's a big word, but brainwave entrainment is also known as audio visual entrainment.

00:18:34.042 --> 00:18:34.843
Um, it's.

00:18:35.133 --> 00:18:52.103
Like basically you, a term used for the, how, um, used for the effect in an external source of regular bleep beats, splashes, or vibrations have on in training and synchronizing our brain's own frequency to that external stimulation.

00:18:52.323 --> 00:19:00.833
So when you experienced it, your brain interpreted it differently than anybody else during the session, because everyone's brains are wired differently.

00:19:01.577 --> 00:19:08.417
Um, but that is sort of the, the, the, uh, understanding behind it.

00:19:08.428 --> 00:19:14.627
And then, you know, if you look at the EEG measurements that show our brain operates in bands of brainwave frequencies, right?

00:19:15.127 --> 00:19:24.988
So it triggers these brainwaves, um, which whether they're beneficial or challenging states of mind have this associated brainwave frequency to them.

00:19:25.238 --> 00:19:26.667
They have a signature, right?

00:19:27.117 --> 00:19:31.617
So when we know the brainwave frequencies are present during this particular state of mind, we can.

00:19:31.897 --> 00:19:34.258
Introduce and encourage that same state of mind.

00:19:35.067 --> 00:19:40.627
Um, so, for example, um, we have, uh, what's called theta waves, right?

00:19:40.667 --> 00:19:42.018
Theta brain wave state.

00:19:42.508 --> 00:19:45.557
So this is typically around 48 Hertz and frequency.

00:19:46.008 --> 00:19:48.708
And this means that every 2nd.

00:19:49.268 --> 00:19:52.397
Um, there's 4 to 8 pulses of electro.

00:19:52.778 --> 00:19:54.367
Electrical activity across our brain.

00:19:54.972 --> 00:19:58.903
So the theta state is considered that deeply relaxing meditative state.

00:19:59.282 --> 00:20:07.563
And so when we use the light, we purposely and train the brain to that frequency, this relaxing state that can be produced.

00:20:09.038 --> 00:20:09.478
I like it.

00:20:09.478 --> 00:20:09.718
Yeah.

00:20:09.897 --> 00:20:13.357
So that, so is it true?

00:20:14.883 --> 00:20:17.073
I, and I've, I've heard of this and that's why I meditate.

00:20:17.073 --> 00:20:23.063
But is, isn't it, isn't it true that the more often you get into that state.

00:20:23.492 --> 00:20:31.432
The easier it is for you to access that state and, and if so, uh, what changes in your life?

00:20:33.403 --> 00:20:35.893
Yeah, so it does become easier.

00:20:35.932 --> 00:20:40.192
Um, a lot of people have come to me over the years who were not able to meditate.

00:20:40.232 --> 00:20:46.923
They tried and tried and tried and they just couldn't, or it would take them a really, really long time to finally get into that meditative state of mind.

00:20:47.698 --> 00:20:54.867
Um, so this is a great, this is a great tool to be able to get people to do that.

00:20:55.038 --> 00:20:56.107
What was your second question?

00:20:56.688 --> 00:20:59.698
Oh, so getting into that state, how does that, how does that change?

00:20:59.748 --> 00:21:08.448
What, um, what happens to you throughout the day or how does this affect you during your, your, your daytime life, your personal life, your career?

00:21:08.998 --> 00:21:13.938
Um, I'm curious to see what you have seen it do for other people.

00:21:14.147 --> 00:21:16.667
So, you know, there's this, this is.

00:21:17.022 --> 00:21:20.063
Actually, scientifically proven mind body connection, right?

00:21:20.103 --> 00:21:22.093
Our brain's neural activity occurs.

00:21:22.593 --> 00:21:26.512
And we, when we alter it, we can change our state of body and mind.

00:21:26.522 --> 00:21:42.593
So when we do this, whether it's through meditation, through light therapy, uh, like through TM meditation, we, and altering those perceptions, we improve our mental health and we can help people, including myself, break free of emotional addiction and adopt new ways of thinking and feeling

00:21:42.792 --> 00:21:43.653
real quick, but it gets

00:21:43.653 --> 00:21:43.962
here.

00:21:44.702 --> 00:21:51.073
TM meditation is Transcendental Meditation, just in case, go ahead, sorry,

00:21:51.242 --> 00:21:52.032
Transcendental Meditation.

00:21:52.413 --> 00:22:02.903
So when we do this, um, and we change our state of thinking and feeling, we can, um, we improve our mental health, we can relieve stress.

00:22:03.313 --> 00:22:08.603
Um, we can, um, we get creative inspiration, productivity, mood enhancement.

00:22:09.012 --> 00:22:14.553
If we trigger beta waves, we're, we're encouraging decision making, pain relief, sleep improvement.

00:22:15.153 --> 00:22:19.913
And then we also, you know, obviously the out of body and awakening experiences with the psychedelic journeys.

00:22:21.512 --> 00:22:21.833
Yeah.

00:22:22.442 --> 00:22:31.452
And, um, for your, for your clients, I'm curious, just nowadays, what do you see people coming to you more for?

00:22:31.452 --> 00:22:34.292
What challenges are you seeing pop up?

00:22:34.413 --> 00:22:35.502
Do you see any patterns?

00:22:35.502 --> 00:22:36.242
So, yeah,

00:22:36.593 --> 00:22:43.643
um, stress, stress, because it doesn't seem like everybody, people have enough time, right?

00:22:44.163 --> 00:22:45.232
Stress, stress.

00:22:45.272 --> 00:22:49.442
Um, and, and a lot of, um, because of a lot of responsibilities that people have.

00:22:49.442 --> 00:22:49.573
Yeah.

00:22:50.032 --> 00:22:55.903
Um, and they also feel they don't have time to devote to improving themselves.

00:22:56.143 --> 00:22:58.403
So they just get stuck in that same pattern of thinking.

00:22:58.413 --> 00:23:14.903
And then the other kind of people, I mean, a lot of different people come to me, but, um, I have a, a large group of people that come to me for, um, relief of, you know, PTSD and trauma, and this is wonderful to release that trauma from our body and reprogram our brain.

00:23:15.442 --> 00:23:16.133
It's amazing.

00:23:17.113 --> 00:23:25.363
Honestly, I'm not too surprised that nowadays there's more people talking about trauma.

00:23:25.843 --> 00:23:32.972
And I do feel like nowadays more people are running into more emotional challenges.

00:23:34.113 --> 00:23:37.032
And I believe it comes to people.

00:23:37.782 --> 00:23:44.163
The state of our world being more of, I mean, in the U S we've had it easy for such a long time.

00:23:44.163 --> 00:23:46.992
You're not in that survival mentality as much.

00:23:47.093 --> 00:23:54.712
And after that, you start moving into that the emotions of managing all your opportunities.

00:23:54.728 --> 00:24:11.607
I remember in the past, um, just talking with, um, people back in the day when just something as simple as going to school and getting shoes for school, you had tennis shoes and then dress shoes.

00:24:12.268 --> 00:24:20.518
And there, there wasn't a whole wall of cross trainer shoes and, and basketball shoes and running shoes.

00:24:20.958 --> 00:24:22.528
And um, it's interesting.

00:24:22.647 --> 00:24:26.938
I have conversations with people every day around how.

00:24:27.857 --> 00:24:33.698
We, the more decisions you need to make, the more decisive you need to be.

00:24:33.748 --> 00:24:45.998
And it could be more stressful having more options, ironically, especially like the people that win the lotto, they're not used to having all those options and you have everybody coming at you with opportunities here and there.

00:24:46.317 --> 00:24:50.278
And so we're in this weird situation where in the U S.

00:24:51.758 --> 00:24:54.117
I would say up until more recently, there has just been a lot.

00:24:54.127 --> 00:24:59.228
There still is a lot of opportunities, but more people are in the struggle now because of, you know, economy things.

00:24:59.228 --> 00:25:06.208
But, uh, it does make sense what you're saying that, um, trauma could be coming.

00:25:06.387 --> 00:25:12.383
Like, I'm saying trauma could be coming from that, those emotional challenges of trying to manage just that.

00:25:12.702 --> 00:25:13.843
Everyday tasks.

00:25:14.262 --> 00:25:14.323
Yeah.

00:25:14.323 --> 00:25:21.403
And then, and then, um, there's, there's an increase in children having broken homes and parents that are split.

00:25:21.403 --> 00:25:30.553
And, um, I, I think, I mean, I'm, I am a child of a, of a home that was split and, you know, had two different Christmases and whatnot.

00:25:30.553 --> 00:25:34.663
So I that, that, that type of life is norm is normalizing now.

00:25:34.962 --> 00:25:38.077
And a therapy and, and a session like what you're doing.

00:25:38.813 --> 00:25:45.603
But whether it be a meditation and a combination of light is helping people to like harmonize their minds so they can think more clearly.

00:25:45.603 --> 00:25:46.333
So I appreciate it.

00:25:46.553 --> 00:25:47.343
I'm in the same industry.

00:25:47.343 --> 00:25:48.803
So I'm like, I know exactly what you're talking about.

00:25:48.823 --> 00:25:50.653
Cause it's, it's a challenge for a lot of people.

00:25:50.893 --> 00:25:51.833
Yeah, exactly.

00:25:51.833 --> 00:25:56.032
I mean, the more complex our world is, the more complex thinking we have to do, right.

00:25:56.053 --> 00:25:59.442
The more complex decision making and problem solving that we have to do.

00:25:59.593 --> 00:26:00.113
It makes sense.

00:26:00.462 --> 00:26:01.583
And also no one talks.

00:26:02.063 --> 00:26:03.972
I think people are starting to be more open.

00:26:04.212 --> 00:26:07.803
It's becoming more acceptable to talk about trauma than it was.

00:26:08.397 --> 00:26:10.698
Like when I was growing up, it was like, Oh, you have an issue.

00:26:10.708 --> 00:26:13.307
Just like, put it in the, you know, put in the closet.

00:26:13.317 --> 00:26:14.978
Nobody wants to hear your problems.

00:26:14.978 --> 00:26:18.917
Like just put on a happy face and pretend everything's okay.

00:26:18.917 --> 00:26:19.228
Right.

00:26:20.178 --> 00:26:21.817
I feel like now, okay, good.

00:26:21.952 --> 00:26:23.186
I was

00:26:23.186 --> 00:26:32.083
going to say, I feel like now, um, when you, uh, connect with someone, I connect with someone, it's kind of like, you have challenges to me too.

00:26:32.083 --> 00:26:32.563
You're weird.

00:26:32.623 --> 00:26:33.063
I'm weird.

00:26:33.063 --> 00:26:33.742
Okay, cool.

00:26:33.803 --> 00:26:34.893
Did we just become best friends?

00:26:34.942 --> 00:26:35.432
Awesome.

00:26:35.482 --> 00:26:41.583
You know, we, we, we make connections with, with our, our challenges.

00:26:41.633 --> 00:26:41.982
Right.

00:26:41.982 --> 00:26:43.282
And then like, how did you deal with it?

00:26:43.282 --> 00:26:43.532
Okay.

00:26:43.532 --> 00:26:44.593
This is what I'm dealing with it.

00:26:44.613 --> 00:26:49.772
And that helps me at least me to figure out cool, different ways to, mm.

00:26:50.232 --> 00:26:51.373
deal with these challenges,

00:26:51.373 --> 00:26:51.742
right?

00:26:51.913 --> 00:26:52.303
Right.

00:26:52.532 --> 00:27:08.232
And, you know, one of the most significant obstacles to personal development that, you know, busy professionals have, um, and the people in general have is, uh, to, to get to that personal development and success is their inability to maintain that appropriate mindset when needed.

00:27:09.053 --> 00:27:18.623
So in other words, having the capacity to choose, maintain that suitable emotional state, according to the circumstances is that cornerstone of fulfillment.

00:27:19.212 --> 00:27:24.803
And then the light therapy can do just that, just like meditation, except that it's in a shorter amount of time.

00:27:25.323 --> 00:27:27.123
I find it's, it's, it's more intense.

00:27:27.123 --> 00:27:30.502
So I think it's more, more effective and it's, it's controlled.

00:27:30.833 --> 00:27:39.762
Like, have you ever been, have you ever done meditation where like an hour goes by and you only meant to do 15 minutes and you didn't put a timer on and all of a sudden you're like, oh, I'm late for a meeting because I was meditating, but I,

00:27:41.143 --> 00:27:43.313
you know, it's funny because it's not.

00:27:43.643 --> 00:27:47.032
A good idea to put an alarm for a meditation.

00:27:47.042 --> 00:27:48.113
No, it's not.

00:27:48.143 --> 00:27:50.252
You don't want to get jolted out of that.

00:27:51.393 --> 00:27:54.053
That's, which I was thinking about that the other day.

00:27:54.053 --> 00:27:56.952
I'm like, I wonder if you can program yourself.

00:27:57.698 --> 00:27:59.347
And, um, I've done it for sleep.

00:27:59.357 --> 00:28:02.468
You know how you wake up like a minute, like 30 seconds before the alarm?

00:28:02.508 --> 00:28:07.738
That would be cool if you can learn how to program yourself to, I'm only going to do 15 minutes.

00:28:07.768 --> 00:28:10.917
And then your body just is like, all right, 15 minutes is up.

00:28:10.948 --> 00:28:12.428
You know, you're like, okay, it's, it's over.

00:28:12.698 --> 00:28:14.548
But yeah, I've, that's happened for sure.

00:28:14.567 --> 00:28:18.538
Where I'm just like, you're in your own world, you're meditating.

00:28:19.557 --> 00:28:23.657
And then some just thoughts come and then you just follow those thoughts.

00:28:23.657 --> 00:28:25.488
And then it opens up another way of thinking.

00:28:25.488 --> 00:28:27.327
And then you're like, okay.

00:28:27.468 --> 00:28:29.327
And then for me, something triggers me.

00:28:29.327 --> 00:28:31.678
I'm like, wait, wait, wait, how long have I been here before?

00:28:32.087 --> 00:28:35.657
And then it's that feeling of like, did I oversleep what it's like meditation?

00:28:35.698 --> 00:28:38.968
And you wake up and you're like, yeah, I got stuff to do.

00:28:38.968 --> 00:28:39.627
Okay, cool.

00:28:39.627 --> 00:28:41.377
But I, you know, that was a good session, John.

00:28:42.867 --> 00:28:49.617
Um, and, and, and another, that's why, um, guided meditation also helps too with, um, just, I've had people just.

00:28:49.863 --> 00:28:50.432
Fall asleep.

00:28:50.512 --> 00:28:54.232
I'm like, you know, I have to say their name to trigger their mind to like, come back,

00:28:54.262 --> 00:28:56.022
get out, you know?

00:28:56.022 --> 00:28:56.663
Yeah.

00:28:56.663 --> 00:28:56.932
You can't just

00:28:57.272 --> 00:29:02.593
bang a pot and pan, you know, someone's that's going to be really bad.

00:29:05.393 --> 00:29:05.903
Oh man.

00:29:05.972 --> 00:29:09.133
Actually, uh, there was, uh, something happened to me.

00:29:09.772 --> 00:29:11.153
Um, I'm not sure.

00:29:11.163 --> 00:29:19.423
Has that ever happened to you where, um, someone just calls you or you were just abruptly taken out of a meditation?

00:29:19.823 --> 00:29:20.242
Oh, yeah.

00:29:20.242 --> 00:29:21.363
Well, I have three teenagers.

00:29:21.373 --> 00:29:22.883
So that should explain everything.

00:29:23.613 --> 00:29:24.063
Yes.

00:29:24.423 --> 00:29:24.843
Yes.

00:29:25.202 --> 00:29:41.948
I, I remember a friend of mine and she was an interesting character because she can see auras and she was the first person that I knew personally that can see auras and, um, That made me more interested in just learning what else she had to say, to be honest.

00:29:41.978 --> 00:29:44.248
And one day she was just like, Hey, you know what?

00:29:44.268 --> 00:29:47.198
Lie on the ground and I'm gonna guide you into like a meditation.

00:29:47.198 --> 00:29:48.708
We're gonna do like deep breaths and stuff.

00:29:49.117 --> 00:29:51.478
So, I'm getting deep into it.

00:29:51.627 --> 00:29:56.488
And I'm doing like these long like four sec I think eight seconds in, eight seconds out.

00:29:56.488 --> 00:30:01.528
Like those like long deep breaths and it gets you in that state faster.

00:30:02.147 --> 00:30:04.347
And we were in the living room and I had roommates at the time.

00:30:05.792 --> 00:30:07.992
So it was just a spur of the moment thing.

00:30:07.992 --> 00:30:09.942
So I'm just deep in there.

00:30:10.343 --> 00:30:16.732
And then, um, are that we're right next to the entrance door, the door opens.

00:30:16.752 --> 00:30:20.303
And my friend just loves to antagonize people.

00:30:20.452 --> 00:30:24.883
He just jumps up and he just started screaming like, like he just goes nuts.

00:30:25.553 --> 00:30:28.313
And I felt like my soul left my body.

00:30:28.313 --> 00:30:28.722
Like, and.

00:30:29.143 --> 00:30:47.952
Um, Doctor Strange and then came, snapped back and like my heart rate was like all over the place and I was just lost and freaked out and I'm like, Oh my God, you know, and then I had to go back into it because I was just like, I'm not going to let this guy mess up my experience here, but that was just, that was just horrible.

00:30:48.357 --> 00:30:50.387
Yeah, it's not, it's not recommended.

00:30:50.397 --> 00:31:01.018
And so, I mean, and I have had people go into translate states under, you know, in during a session, um, whether it's a group or individual, and I kind of just have to let them.

00:31:01.548 --> 00:31:12.198
You know, or I maybe sometimes we'll start like hypnosis, like, okay, feel your hands tingling and your feet tingling and start to move your body and feel your body come a week.

00:31:12.198 --> 00:31:13.998
Like, I have to kind of maybe.

00:31:14.877 --> 00:31:19.698
Go back to a script to get them to kind of come out of it, but gently, not like

00:31:21.528 --> 00:31:25.208
jumping out of a plane, then like breaking your legs because you're in the middle of a war.

00:31:25.208 --> 00:31:29.978
Like, it's you're, you're, you're slowly coming back, right?

00:31:30.038 --> 00:31:34.218
You know, open and close your hands, you know, wiggle your toes and all that.

00:31:35.417 --> 00:31:38.417
It's, it's almost like putting a glove back on.

00:31:38.722 --> 00:31:39.143
Right.

00:31:39.202 --> 00:31:42.333
And you know, like just focus on one finger at the time.

00:31:42.333 --> 00:32:05.452
And if you, if you too quick, you're gonna have like two fingers in the middle finger area and you're going to feel weird and it's going to be bad and things get stuck and you're like, no, um, So that's how I see it as you easing it back into your body, because I know for me, after five minutes, maybe seven minutes, I don't know where my fingers are.

00:32:05.462 --> 00:32:06.803
I don't know where my legs are.

00:32:06.823 --> 00:32:08.212
I don't know where my elbow is.

00:32:08.222 --> 00:32:10.113
You're just like one solid thing.

00:32:10.603 --> 00:32:11.752
And it takes time.

00:32:12.468 --> 00:32:19.728
Different people, different times to get there, but it's, it's, it, that's how I see it as a, I'm like, okay, so let me just wiggle that.

00:32:19.807 --> 00:32:20.057
Okay.

00:32:20.057 --> 00:32:20.528
That's where it is.

00:32:20.528 --> 00:32:21.678
It's, Oh, it's way down there.

00:32:21.678 --> 00:32:21.887
Okay.

00:32:21.887 --> 00:32:22.837
I thought it was right here.

00:32:23.268 --> 00:32:25.948
You know, it's like these weird dialogues that you have in your mind.

00:32:25.968 --> 00:32:27.917
Do you ever have that when you're coming back?

00:32:27.917 --> 00:32:29.317
You're like, you're like, Oh, there it is.

00:32:31.067 --> 00:32:31.698
Um, yeah.

00:32:31.698 --> 00:32:33.718
I mean, every, every experience is different.

00:32:33.728 --> 00:32:38.748
And for me, every meditation is different, which I think is the case for most people.

00:32:38.748 --> 00:32:44.887
Like sometimes you can go really deep, And have a really amazing, you know, mind blowing experience.

00:32:44.897 --> 00:32:52.557
And other times you're kind of in what I called like this lucid state, but you're not really deep.

00:32:52.607 --> 00:32:54.417
You're, you're sort of just like floating.

00:32:55.268 --> 00:33:00.008
Like you're still conscious and aware, but you're more like more lucid.

00:33:00.397 --> 00:33:01.448
I don't know how else to explain it.

00:33:02.337 --> 00:33:03.218
Presently aware.

00:33:03.258 --> 00:33:03.617
Yeah.

00:33:04.038 --> 00:33:20.532
Um, As we come to a close for today's call, our conversation, um, I don't, I wanted to give you a chance to share any tips that you may have for someone that is listening right now and they're just starting out.

00:33:21.222 --> 00:33:27.442
They're just stressed, or, um, maybe they're dealing with some trauma.

00:33:27.633 --> 00:33:30.643
Is there anything that, you know, someone can do right now?

00:33:30.873 --> 00:33:33.553
Because I know you, you, I mean, you, you're a Reiki master.

00:33:33.903 --> 00:33:36.383
Um, you're a holistic health practitioner.

00:33:36.413 --> 00:33:44.363
You, you, you have a long history and list of things, um, that help people with managing, um, themselves, really.

00:33:45.083 --> 00:33:46.762
Any tips that you can offer?

00:33:48.048 --> 00:33:48.518
Sure.

00:33:48.688 --> 00:33:49.718
Um, right.

00:33:49.748 --> 00:34:00.577
Well, in general, a tip of advice is, um, to make, make a small change or make small changes to improve your health that are permanent, like do a little bit at a time.

00:34:01.008 --> 00:34:07.948
So, for example, we know that not getting enough sleep can stress us and make us not productive.

00:34:08.797 --> 00:34:12.318
The next day, so a 1 small change could be.

00:34:13.023 --> 00:34:20.422
Per being very mindful about going to sleep an hour early every night and then checking out on day seven and seeing well How did my week go?

00:34:21.052 --> 00:34:21.373
Right?

00:34:21.663 --> 00:34:40.793
Um, that's a very small change doesn't cost anything It doesn't it's just more of making that mindful decision to make a change For trauma, that's a little bit more challenging because a lot of people can't get out of the trigger that's causing the trauma Or

00:34:41.242 --> 00:34:42.213
even know what it is

00:34:42.623 --> 00:34:49.543
or great or even know what it is Um, but being my, um, the other thing is being mindful of our thoughts, right?

00:34:49.603 --> 00:34:50.762
Our thoughts matter.

00:34:51.092 --> 00:34:52.382
Our thoughts affect our health.

00:34:52.523 --> 00:34:58.302
So the more we can think, well, we will be well physically and emotionally well, right?

00:34:58.682 --> 00:35:02.773
So, um, we're all our own worst enemy, so to speak, right?

00:35:02.813 --> 00:35:06.612
Like you hear people talking down about themselves a lot.

00:35:06.672 --> 00:35:08.023
I hear it all over the place.

00:35:08.512 --> 00:35:22.913
Um, I teach young adults and so, you know, I'm hearing their language and how they talk about themselves and, um, those thoughts are going to become reality because our minds control our bodies.

00:35:23.443 --> 00:35:37.432
Um, and there's proof of this, um, Washington State University just, uh, wrote an article and, uh, sorry, Washington State University of Medicine, that mind body connection is built into the brain.

00:35:37.963 --> 00:35:55.932
Um, it's, uh, really interesting, um, article about that, um, how our brain area that controls movement is actually plugged into the area that controls our thinking and planning and our involuntarily body bodily functions, like blood pressure and heartbeat, like you were saying your heart rate.

00:35:56.253 --> 00:35:59.273
So it literally represents a literal.

00:36:00.197 --> 00:36:04.318
Connection to that mind and body in this very structure of our brain.

00:36:04.318 --> 00:36:05.918
That's how our brains are wired.

00:36:06.307 --> 00:36:18.177
So, if I can convince people of this, then maybe they could start to maybe change the way they think change the words that they use, maybe learn some neuro linguistic programming for me.

00:36:18.177 --> 00:36:20.538
And, you know, how do you, how do you take that next step?

00:36:20.918 --> 00:36:25.637
Um, so, without doing anything, be mindful of how do you speak to yourself?

00:36:25.668 --> 00:36:26.637
What is your soft talk?

00:36:26.637 --> 00:36:29.538
Like, um, what kind of words do I use?

00:36:29.983 --> 00:36:38.112
Um, to describe myself or describe my situation because when we're using negative words, those are coming from negative thoughts, right?

00:36:39.382 --> 00:36:39.793
Yeah.

00:36:39.893 --> 00:36:44.012
I, I, I agree wholeheartedly, especially the, uh, the self dialogue, right?

00:36:44.273 --> 00:36:44.552
Yeah.

00:36:44.552 --> 00:36:49.242
Separating yourself from that dialogue and knowing that you are not your thoughts, right?

00:36:49.373 --> 00:36:49.782
Right.

00:36:49.842 --> 00:36:53.862
Um, I, I, yeah, wholeheartedly agree.

00:36:54.103 --> 00:36:58.822
So, um, What are you working on right now?

00:36:58.833 --> 00:37:07.233
What, how, if someone is looking to connect with you, um, is there anything that you want to share that you're working on now or best way to contact you?

00:37:07.693 --> 00:37:08.163
Sure.

00:37:08.222 --> 00:37:08.572
Sure.

00:37:08.612 --> 00:37:13.503
So on October 20th, I'm going to be at the passport to health and wellness.

00:37:13.902 --> 00:37:16.393
Which is a statewide holistic health event.

00:37:16.623 --> 00:37:21.302
It's at the double tree in, uh, in Bristol, Connecticut from 10 to 4.

00:37:22.083 --> 00:37:32.617
Um, and I'm also going to be at the new age, uh, and craft expo on November 3rd from 9 to 5 at the Wyndham in Southbury, Connecticut.

00:37:33.297 --> 00:37:38.458
Um, my projects right now, I'm working on, um, an NDE support group.

00:37:38.467 --> 00:37:41.577
That's near death experience support group with my friend, Amanda Thomas.

00:37:41.588 --> 00:37:43.027
She's also a spiritual coach.

00:37:43.027 --> 00:37:44.367
So that's coming up soon.

00:37:44.998 --> 00:37:48.938
Um, this week there'll be a free online meditation workshop.

00:37:49.228 --> 00:37:52.478
