00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:03.419
so many people have these experiences and they just don't feel comfortable talking about them.

00:00:03.419 --> 00:00:07.820
We get reviews, um, time and time again saying, you know, thank you for helping me feel normal.

00:00:08.289 --> 00:00:14.429
Karen's had more of a direct contact with, the paranormal, whereas mine has been more.

00:00:15.035 --> 00:00:20.245
about oneness and, depths of who we are, I know for a fact that it's all real.

00:00:20.835 --> 00:00:30.484
Because of not just the conversations that we've had, but because of the conversations and the experiences that we've had to the show, there's so much more out there than we have any idea.

00:00:33.420 --> 00:00:33.770
all right.

00:00:33.770 --> 00:00:42.232
Welcome to the new h1 podcast Let me host John Astacio today's guests are The hosts of the skeptic metaphysicians podcast.

00:00:42.232 --> 00:00:53.898
It's pretty cool because their subject matter is similar to this, where it's enlightenment, expanded consciousness, and everything in between, This is a two part series, so we go into how they overcame their personal struggles from health.

00:00:54.002 --> 00:01:05.493
And just pretty much stress from your typical mainstream lifestyle to how they share their personal stories from ghosts, bigfoot, quantum leaping, you name it.

00:01:05.546 --> 00:01:20.385
And then the more important thing is the power of community and as what we're building here is something powerful and strong you're going to get first hand experience as far as someone's story on how community has been able to change lives.

00:01:51.891 --> 00:01:54.621
Let's get to the show.

00:01:54.671 --> 00:01:55.852
Thanks for coming on the show guys.

00:01:55.882 --> 00:01:56.471
This is awesome.

00:01:56.581 --> 00:01:57.091
How's it going?

00:01:57.902 --> 00:01:58.871
It's going great.

00:01:58.871 --> 00:01:59.781
We're, we're stoked.

00:01:59.861 --> 00:02:03.421
Uh, already our conversation before we started recording was fun.

00:02:03.421 --> 00:02:06.412
So I'm looking forward to seeing what, what comes out.

00:02:07.617 --> 00:02:11.567
Yeah, I was like, let's, let's go over the questions beforehand.

00:02:11.567 --> 00:02:17.977
So there's no surprises and maybe you can kind of mull it over while we're talking and, um, your reactions were pretty funny.

00:02:17.977 --> 00:02:19.627
You're like, don't, don't steal my idea.

00:02:19.637 --> 00:02:20.997
Cause it's, I have this idea.

00:02:21.567 --> 00:02:22.016
Karen's like,

00:02:22.016 --> 00:02:23.157
I got a lot.

00:02:23.366 --> 00:02:25.097
She takes my ideas all the time.

00:02:25.442 --> 00:02:25.521
What?

00:02:26.192 --> 00:02:28.012
No! She's a thief.

00:02:28.072 --> 00:02:28.771
An idea thief.

00:02:28.912 --> 00:02:29.361
I get it.

00:02:30.322 --> 00:02:31.072
That's funny.

00:02:31.421 --> 00:02:32.681
I scanned his brain.

00:02:33.092 --> 00:02:33.692
What did you say?

00:02:33.692 --> 00:02:34.111
What did you say?

00:02:34.701 --> 00:02:34.981
I said

00:02:34.981 --> 00:02:35.502
I scanned

00:02:35.502 --> 00:02:36.111
his brain.

00:02:36.752 --> 00:02:37.271
Hey, you know what?

00:02:37.301 --> 00:02:41.901
We have, uh, people I wouldn't be surprised with the amount of people that I've spoken to.

00:02:41.901 --> 00:02:45.657
I'm sure you guys We got brain readers.

00:02:45.667 --> 00:02:49.187
We got people speaking to the ghosts of the past.

00:02:49.206 --> 00:02:54.007
It gets I'm not I'm not surprised anymore at all at all.

00:02:54.296 --> 00:02:57.276
Um, but I definitely I appreciate you guys coming on.

00:02:57.537 --> 00:02:59.507
I think we're gonna have some really cool conversations.

00:02:59.507 --> 00:03:32.127
I want to give the audience an idea of what it What it's like to be on the other side of the mic when you're talking to people that have these abnormally amazing, uh, like, concepts that they know about, and we're just asking those questions, and we're going through our own discovery and our own journey, so let's start off by getting it To getting an idea of what got you guys in starting a podcast to begin with, because you guys have completely different backgrounds.

00:03:32.456 --> 00:03:40.907
Uh, I mean, well, it looks like you have more of a corporate background and like media and Karen, you're like.

00:03:41.826 --> 00:03:46.486
Uh, the host of, uh, a cooking, cooking from the heart show, right?

00:03:46.507 --> 00:03:49.977
Like you guys, you have a cooking background, you have media background, like what's going on?

00:03:49.977 --> 00:03:51.076
What, why this?

00:03:51.097 --> 00:03:52.586
Why metaphysicians?

00:03:52.787 --> 00:03:54.456
I can't even say the word correct.

00:03:56.366 --> 00:03:56.736
It's a tough one.

00:03:56.736 --> 00:03:57.407
Yeah.

00:03:57.407 --> 00:03:57.606
Yeah.

00:03:57.606 --> 00:03:58.947
Well, he's got me feeding his belly.

00:03:58.977 --> 00:04:00.727
You just need to feel, feed his soul.

00:04:01.187 --> 00:04:01.197
Oh,

00:04:01.637 --> 00:04:02.727
I like that.

00:04:02.796 --> 00:04:03.026
Okay.

00:04:03.046 --> 00:04:03.616
Every once in a while.

00:04:03.616 --> 00:04:04.276
All right.

00:04:04.917 --> 00:04:09.437
Uh, I think the, the easy answer is just because we're just like everybody else.

00:04:09.616 --> 00:04:11.437
Uh, the, the biggest thing about.

00:04:12.211 --> 00:04:20.002
Our journey of discovery is we are thoroughly enjoying helping people to understand that they're not different.

00:04:20.072 --> 00:04:20.922
They're not crazy.

00:04:20.922 --> 00:04:23.692
They're not going crazy.

00:04:24.012 --> 00:04:31.632
Um, you don't have to be or have a background in spirituality or metaphysics to be into this kind of stuff.

00:04:32.172 --> 00:04:48.086
More and more people are waking up from a deep, deep slumber and Uh, we just want to put this stuff out there in a, in a way so that anyone, everyone can really wrap their heads around it because Uh, it's, it's coming, boy, it's coming.

00:04:48.226 --> 00:04:57.677
Uh, if you think you can still keep your, uh, the head under that pillow for much longer, then you're in for a rude awakening because we are, we are shifting fast.

00:04:58.206 --> 00:05:06.166
Well, and we're finding so many people are curious and we aren't experts on anything other than asking questions that we're curious about.

00:05:06.187 --> 00:05:10.076
And you know, luckily enough, they tend to relate with the questions other people have as well.

00:05:10.987 --> 00:05:11.346
Yeah.

00:05:11.416 --> 00:05:11.576
Yeah.

00:05:12.226 --> 00:05:22.596
And I think in the industries that we are, they're high stress industries during COVID like everybody else, I had a breakdown and I looked myself in the mirror and it did not like who I saw.

00:05:23.127 --> 00:05:31.857
And because of that, I started doing a deep dive into who I really am and who I wanted to be.

00:05:32.286 --> 00:05:42.507
And this show, this exploration has helped me, like the show, it's great that we're helping other people to get a handle on some of this stuff, but really, we do it for us.

00:05:42.627 --> 00:05:44.326
We're super selfish, right?

00:05:44.326 --> 00:05:46.697
We do, we're, we're very self serving.

00:05:47.086 --> 00:05:51.857
We do this so that we can learn, so we can find the truth inside of ourselves.

00:05:52.432 --> 00:06:00.612
So that we can get a grip and as a byproduct people come along for the ride and they're learning along with us and that's the fun part is that we're all learning together.

00:06:01.422 --> 00:06:05.322
And one of the things that that means so much to both of us is that.

00:06:06.447 --> 00:06:11.916
Everyone has, well not everyone, but so many people have these experiences and they just don't feel comfortable talking about them.

00:06:11.916 --> 00:06:13.166
They don't know who to talk to them with.

00:06:13.166 --> 00:06:14.237
They're going to think they're crazy.

00:06:14.627 --> 00:06:19.247
So we get reviews, um, time and time again saying, you know, thank you for helping me feel normal.

00:06:19.716 --> 00:06:21.687
And that's, that's kind of what all of this is about.

00:06:21.697 --> 00:06:22.797
Normalizing it all.

00:06:22.817 --> 00:06:22.887
That's big.

00:06:22.927 --> 00:06:24.557
Just putting that out there for everyone.

00:06:24.567 --> 00:06:25.757
And that's what fills our hearts.

00:06:26.877 --> 00:06:27.286
Wow.

00:06:27.466 --> 00:06:28.997
Well, I want to put a pause real quick.

00:06:29.476 --> 00:06:34.757
Um, Pam, I noticed, Will, your mic is muted.

00:06:34.766 --> 00:06:35.726
Did you do that on purpose?

00:06:36.916 --> 00:06:37.137
So

00:06:37.146 --> 00:06:42.567
we are both coming into a, uh, through a Rodecaster into one computer line.

00:06:42.576 --> 00:06:47.266
So if I unmuted my mic, you wouldn't hear this, it wouldn't sound as good.

00:06:48.007 --> 00:06:49.166
So that's what I did.

00:06:49.487 --> 00:06:50.346
And then you'd hear me on that

00:06:50.586 --> 00:06:51.057
mic too, right?

00:06:51.237 --> 00:06:51.487
Yeah.

00:06:51.487 --> 00:06:52.677
Yeah, you're good.

00:06:52.677 --> 00:06:55.817
I just want to make sure that you guys, it looked like you guys.

00:06:56.401 --> 00:07:01.581
Did it on purpose, but I just wanted to like not go through the entire episode and be like, Oh, we missed out on so much.

00:07:01.591 --> 00:07:01.872
We're in the same room.

00:07:01.882 --> 00:07:02.682
I hear you.

00:07:03.312 --> 00:07:03.541
Yeah.

00:07:03.541 --> 00:07:03.882
Sorry.

00:07:03.882 --> 00:07:04.951
I should have mentioned that to you.

00:07:04.951 --> 00:07:05.091
Yeah.

00:07:05.091 --> 00:07:06.021
We are in the same room.

00:07:06.101 --> 00:07:09.951
So if, if we, if we didn't go through the mixer, we would have a mess.

00:07:11.502 --> 00:07:15.151
And the cool thing is you guys have a nice setup going on too.

00:07:15.161 --> 00:07:18.521
You're in the same room, but it doesn't even look like you're in the same room.

00:07:18.812 --> 00:07:20.291
And if anybody's watching.

00:07:20.572 --> 00:07:22.112
You have like sparkles in the background.

00:07:22.122 --> 00:07:23.461
You guys are in space.

00:07:23.742 --> 00:07:24.672
That's literally what it looks like.

00:07:24.781 --> 00:07:25.911
You guys are in a spaceship.

00:07:25.911 --> 00:07:28.161
So it totally goes with the flow.

00:07:29.331 --> 00:07:32.442
We've been, we've been accused of being from outer space many times.

00:07:32.451 --> 00:07:34.312
So that fits within the motif, I guess.

00:07:34.942 --> 00:07:35.312
Weird.

00:07:37.701 --> 00:07:41.552
Well, I was hoping that I had solidarity in this one, Karen, but I guess not.

00:07:41.591 --> 00:07:42.612
I mean, it was to a certain point.

00:07:43.781 --> 00:07:45.232
Well, not new, not new, baby.

00:07:45.291 --> 00:07:46.141
That's all I can say.

00:07:46.752 --> 00:07:47.252
So people

00:07:47.252 --> 00:07:53.586
have said that you're in space as in like, uh, Your thoughts or like just your concepts like like we're

00:07:53.586 --> 00:07:55.916
from outer space like what the heck you guys are crazy.

00:07:56.747 --> 00:07:57.016
Yeah.

00:07:57.016 --> 00:07:57.387
Yeah.

00:07:57.456 --> 00:08:15.971
Yeah and I like how you said people felt like they were normal again because growing up and I'm not sure if you've had personal experiences with the paranormal or the metaphysical things in nature, but I have and There's not too many people to talk to about this.

00:08:16.031 --> 00:08:22.951
Have you guys had any like experiences when you were growing up and you were just like, you held on to that for a while?

00:08:25.822 --> 00:08:26.492
You go first.

00:08:28.721 --> 00:08:29.541
We're still holding on.

00:08:33.131 --> 00:08:35.692
I just, I talk, I tell everybody everything.

00:08:38.961 --> 00:08:40.261
Yeah, the short answer is yes.

00:08:40.292 --> 00:08:42.251
We've, we've both experienced different things.

00:08:42.331 --> 00:08:43.932
Um, Karen's been.

00:08:44.221 --> 00:08:50.402
She's had more of a direct contact with, I guess the paranormal, I guess is the way to say it.

00:08:50.522 --> 00:08:51.812
Uh, to talk about it.

00:08:51.902 --> 00:08:53.192
Like ghosts and stuff?

00:08:53.522 --> 00:08:54.241
Yeah.

00:08:54.241 --> 00:08:54.243
Mm-hmm.

00:08:54.272 --> 00:08:54.552
Yeah.

00:08:54.692 --> 00:08:56.152
Whereas mine has been more.

00:08:57.366 --> 00:09:03.076
Um, about oneness and, uh, depths of who we are, uh, in a very different way.

00:09:04.006 --> 00:09:13.777
And it's probably because I'm blocking myself from allowing myself to see those kinds of paranormal stuff, whereas Karen's a lot more open to these kinds of experiences.

00:09:14.956 --> 00:09:15.287
Mm.

00:09:15.326 --> 00:09:21.986
And would you say like, um, in doing this show has opened you up a little bit more to experience more things?

00:09:22.537 --> 00:09:22.706
Well,

00:09:22.706 --> 00:09:22.897
I'm a...

00:09:23.302 --> 00:09:23.942
Different person.

00:09:23.981 --> 00:09:24.961
Completely different person.

00:09:25.111 --> 00:09:25.491
Totally different.

00:09:25.711 --> 00:09:29.111
Yeah, we've been doing this show for a little bit over two years and I don't.

00:09:29.897 --> 00:09:31.256
Recognize myself anymore.

00:09:31.297 --> 00:09:32.157
And that's a good thing.

00:09:33.226 --> 00:09:35.626
I was not somebody, someone you want to go back

00:09:35.777 --> 00:09:36.216
back then.

00:09:36.267 --> 00:09:37.636
You were not that bad.

00:09:37.657 --> 00:09:39.476
I would not have married you if you're this bad.

00:09:40.297 --> 00:09:42.797
I was just really good at pulling wool over people's eyes.

00:09:42.807 --> 00:09:43.506
That's all it was.

00:09:43.517 --> 00:09:43.567
Maybe,

00:09:43.567 --> 00:09:46.746
but geez, you make me look like a doormat.

00:09:46.807 --> 00:09:48.567
Well, no, not at all.

00:09:48.567 --> 00:09:48.846
Not at all.

00:09:49.307 --> 00:09:52.557
I was just, I'm much more of a pragmatist.

00:09:52.667 --> 00:09:54.447
I need to feel it, touch it, taste it.

00:09:54.506 --> 00:09:55.226
I need the proof.

00:09:55.287 --> 00:09:57.802
I need to know for sure it exists before I can use it.

00:09:58.142 --> 00:10:08.461
Go along with something because I just don't want to be seen as that naive guy that just accepts things and because of it, um, I've missed out on a lot of opportunities.

00:10:09.761 --> 00:10:20.072
Yeah, and it's nice though, because we can, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you, but we can come at a question from two different angles, you know, where we'll be like, well, how did you know, you know, that happened to the temperature of the room change?

00:10:20.121 --> 00:10:20.851
Were you drinking?

00:10:21.062 --> 00:10:22.162
What was going on?

00:10:22.182 --> 00:10:24.461
Whereas I'm like, Ooh, how did that feel?

00:10:24.471 --> 00:10:25.841
You know, what did they say?

00:10:25.841 --> 00:10:28.152
And it's just two different types of questions.

00:10:28.442 --> 00:10:33.361
So hopefully we get most of the questions that people would have out there answered coming from those two different

00:10:33.361 --> 00:10:33.922
points of view.

00:10:34.601 --> 00:10:35.371
Yeah, you know what?

00:10:35.381 --> 00:10:41.091
That's actually pretty good to highlight that you guys ground each other.

00:10:41.101 --> 00:10:43.491
Well, Will grounds you, Karen, right?

00:10:43.861 --> 00:10:44.601
Probably, yeah.

00:10:45.351 --> 00:10:46.032
It's funny, my wife...

00:10:46.032 --> 00:10:46.861
I'm gonna try to push him.

00:10:48.432 --> 00:10:50.011
Right, yeah, push each other's boundaries.

00:10:50.011 --> 00:10:51.211
That's all, that's what it's all about.

00:10:51.211 --> 00:10:56.442
My wife grounds me, but then I ground her in different aspects of...

00:10:56.721 --> 00:10:59.572
Just thinking outside the box or just day to day stuff.

00:10:59.572 --> 00:11:07.192
So it's cool to see that dynamic and that being a healthy dynamic, just like in the X Files, Mulder and Scully.

00:11:07.461 --> 00:11:11.022
Now I know who's Mulder and who's Scully.

00:11:12.761 --> 00:11:14.481
Will, you're Scully.

00:11:15.091 --> 00:11:15.522
You're hot.

00:11:16.221 --> 00:11:16.591
Guilty.

00:11:19.091 --> 00:11:19.731
Guilty as charged.

00:11:19.731 --> 00:11:19.922
He cares.

00:11:21.211 --> 00:11:34.892
Yes, but just like in the show, just like in The Exiles, where eventually Scully does tend to kind of come to the middle at some point, I'm definitely way beyond the middle.

00:11:34.991 --> 00:11:39.192
I don't have any questions anymore about whether this stuff is real or not.

00:11:39.231 --> 00:11:39.751
I don't.

00:11:39.831 --> 00:11:41.542
I know for a fact that it's all real.

00:11:42.131 --> 00:11:59.351
Because of not just the conversations that we've had, but because of the conversations and the experiences that we've had to the show, it's opened us up to other experiences that will have opened up our eyes to the fact that, wow, there's so much more out there than we have any idea.

00:11:59.701 --> 00:12:05.192
And we're just like, literally just scratching the little bit of an ice cube on top of an iceberg.

00:12:05.192 --> 00:12:07.392
It is ridiculous how much we don't know.

00:12:07.631 --> 00:12:09.572
And the fact is, we're never going to know it all.

00:12:11.341 --> 00:12:16.851
But you're still somewhat skeptical, you know, and you want to know about the quantum mechanics behind it all.

00:12:16.851 --> 00:12:21.371
And he still does ask those questions for the people that really want that side of it as

00:12:21.371 --> 00:12:21.652
well.

00:12:21.692 --> 00:12:22.442
Yeah, I do.

00:12:22.442 --> 00:12:27.351
I, I, quantum physics allowed me to wrap my head around stuff.

00:12:27.392 --> 00:12:33.942
It allowed me to open up my thought process and accept that maybe there's stuff here that I can't explain other than.

00:12:35.322 --> 00:12:35.961
Spooky magic, right?

00:12:35.961 --> 00:12:45.912
Spooky, uh, music, whatever, however Albert Einstein said, I forgot, uh, uh, forgot the, how you said, I can, I can, I can usually remember that quote, but I can't right now.

00:12:46.312 --> 00:12:51.741
But anyway, um, quantum physics helps a lot with people with my mindset.

00:12:51.741 --> 00:12:54.001
So now it's opened up everything to me.

00:12:54.042 --> 00:13:00.047
And because I've opened myself up to the possibility Now, the possibilities are presenting themselves to me

00:13:01.376 --> 00:13:05.726
now, whether or not he's choosing to recognize them, that's left to be answered.

00:13:05.897 --> 00:13:06.326
Missy, it

00:13:06.326 --> 00:13:09.427
sounds like someone calling the kettle black here.

00:13:11.557 --> 00:13:16.846
I am actually on the same page as you with the quantum physics side of things.

00:13:16.846 --> 00:13:25.417
And a lot of what I've come to understand and learn about the quantum physics side came from my journey started with what the bleep do we know?

00:13:26.251 --> 00:13:27.292
Have you heard of that?

00:13:27.731 --> 00:13:28.361
I do.

00:13:28.611 --> 00:13:30.042
I love that series.

00:13:30.042 --> 00:13:30.331
Yes.

00:13:31.481 --> 00:13:32.491
That's very well.

00:13:32.491 --> 00:13:32.956
Yes.

00:13:34.456 --> 00:13:37.267
And then, um, maybe not so much.

00:13:37.287 --> 00:13:41.687
David Wilcock and his wisdom teachings on Gaia TV.

00:13:41.856 --> 00:13:50.216
30 minutes, uh, I think it was like eight episodes per season and 27 seasons.

00:13:50.226 --> 00:13:50.927
It was just.

00:13:51.986 --> 00:13:52.527
A download.

00:13:53.697 --> 00:13:54.647
Just too much.

00:13:54.716 --> 00:13:56.356
Yeah, a download.

00:13:56.866 --> 00:13:58.067
But it's basically his books.

00:13:58.067 --> 00:14:01.076
If you read his books, you're pretty much good to go.

00:14:01.076 --> 00:14:04.726
He just put pictures behind the books.

00:14:06.287 --> 00:14:11.716
But I definitely want to get into some experiences that you guys...

00:14:12.126 --> 00:14:14.527
Had personally that you're willing to share,

00:14:16.716 --> 00:14:18.006
you go for time care.

00:14:18.067 --> 00:14:18.547
Okay.

00:14:19.177 --> 00:14:28.506
Well, we have talked on our show before about this really friendly ghost that I have that is with me, and I believe she literally saved my life.

00:14:28.956 --> 00:14:37.197
Um, and then kind of has stayed around me for a while after that, um, I saw the lifesaving thing.

00:14:37.256 --> 00:14:39.177
I was in a situation where I was home.

00:14:39.437 --> 00:14:46.386
Sleeping one night and I woke up and there was a man in my bedroom and he had a knife and I, I, I'm from Florida.

00:14:46.397 --> 00:14:51.726
I can sleep through hurricanes and he had come in and was turning the TV off in my room.

00:14:51.726 --> 00:14:55.576
So just pushing that button woke me up, which is that should not have happened.

00:14:56.057 --> 00:14:56.527
So.

00:14:57.081 --> 00:15:06.772
Long story short, I got away and the next day or a couple of days later, I went to a library because I wanted to know I had had a dream and the dream was just very strong in my mind.

00:15:06.772 --> 00:15:08.491
And I wanted to know if it meant anything.

00:15:09.091 --> 00:15:16.192
Now, the dream that I had was that I was, um, talking, I was in an old house and I was speaking with a ghost and we were communicating.

00:15:16.192 --> 00:15:20.501
I would ask her questions and she would answer by knocking on the ceiling or something.

00:15:21.971 --> 00:15:27.326
And I wasn't afraid at all, but we found out, or I found out through the course of the dream that what she wanted me to do was what she wanted me to do.

00:15:27.706 --> 00:15:32.067
Sounds weird, find her head and put it with her body so that she could go to heaven.

00:15:33.287 --> 00:15:36.437
And that's when I woke up and that's when this guy was in my room and all this stuff.

00:15:37.317 --> 00:15:45.187
So I'm looking at this dream and I'm finding out, you know, that if you're communicating, if you're dreaming that you're with a ghost and you're not afraid, it's a warning.

00:15:46.062 --> 00:15:58.461
And then later, um, doing some research, I found out that in some areas when women were believed to be witches, they were killed and they were beheaded and their head was separated from their body because they, they believed that they couldn't go to heaven if their head was there.

00:15:58.922 --> 00:16:02.091
So that was like, I had no idea about any of that before.

00:16:02.751 --> 00:16:11.142
So I think, um, she has been very thankful for me and for, for doing that and just kind of stayed around and she's done all kinds of things.

00:16:11.172 --> 00:16:14.422
Um, I mistakenly, I named her Lila.

00:16:15.376 --> 00:16:25.927
And she was in the house that I lived in when Will and I met, and she helped me find things and, you know, every once in a while you have to say hello to Lila, otherwise things would pop off shelves, you know, just to acknowledge that she was there.

00:16:27.626 --> 00:16:29.547
No joke, I

00:16:31.297 --> 00:16:31.447
saw it.

00:16:31.736 --> 00:16:31.807
I was there.

00:16:31.956 --> 00:16:32.366
I never felt afraid.

00:16:32.366 --> 00:16:44.826
Um, I always, when I go into, or moved into an older home, and it's happened a couple times since, I say, okay, ghost, if you're there, you are welcome to stay, just don't freak me out and be evil.

00:16:45.206 --> 00:16:49.746
If that's the case, you have to go, but if you're nice and just, you know, hanging out here, you're welcome to stay.

00:16:50.147 --> 00:16:51.657
So I'd have this conversation with Lila.

00:16:52.576 --> 00:16:53.866
Well, we were back in that house.

00:16:53.866 --> 00:16:55.397
We own it as a rental property now.

00:16:56.116 --> 00:16:58.567
And, um, recently, and we were fixing something off.

00:16:58.956 --> 00:17:01.287
I was like, trying to scrape paint off windows.

00:17:01.527 --> 00:17:04.126
And I'm sitting there literally with my thumbnails, scraping this paint off.

00:17:04.477 --> 00:17:05.116
And it hits me.

00:17:05.126 --> 00:17:06.017
Her name's not Lila.

00:17:06.027 --> 00:17:06.826
It's Beulah.

00:17:07.406 --> 00:17:09.076
Now, Beulah was one of the owners of the house.

00:17:09.656 --> 00:17:14.247
Um, it's only been owned by women and she was, I think was the second or third owner on there.

00:17:14.707 --> 00:17:20.247
And I'm like, Oh, I just, I think before when I came up with Lila, I wasn't as open.

00:17:20.656 --> 00:17:22.426
And the minute I'm like, Oh, it's Beulah.

00:17:22.487 --> 00:17:28.176
I looked down and I kid you not three feet, Rob, maybe two feet from me on that window ledge.

00:17:28.406 --> 00:17:30.156
There's a razor blade scraper.

00:17:31.227 --> 00:17:32.196
So I just, you know, thank you.

00:17:32.196 --> 00:17:33.957
Beulah who's scraped up and it wasn't there.

00:17:33.987 --> 00:17:36.336
I mean, I had been there scraping it with my thumbnails and I had.

00:17:36.666 --> 00:17:37.676
You know, I would have seen it.

00:17:38.406 --> 00:17:41.777
Um, so yeah, so she's still there and she's still helping me and just my friendly ghost.

00:17:42.366 --> 00:17:43.326
So, I love Beulah.

00:17:43.346 --> 00:17:43.567
So,

00:17:45.186 --> 00:17:46.227
do the tenants know?

00:17:48.616 --> 00:17:49.376
No, I

00:17:49.696 --> 00:17:52.027
think she tends to stick with me.

00:17:53.326 --> 00:17:54.336
Oh, okay, okay, okay.

00:17:54.537 --> 00:17:56.606
So, I think she went back with us and then I think she kind of stays

00:17:56.606 --> 00:17:57.057
around me.

00:17:57.116 --> 00:18:04.457
And I think the school journal laws are just about people getting killed and we have no idea whether Beulah died there because she was killed or whether, so we just keep it to ourselves.

00:18:04.487 --> 00:18:05.376
Yeah, yeah.

00:18:05.767 --> 00:18:06.057
Got

00:18:06.057 --> 00:18:06.277
it, yeah.

00:18:06.277 --> 00:18:07.221
I mean, it's a hundred year old house.

00:18:07.592 --> 00:18:07.741
Yeah.

00:18:09.071 --> 00:18:11.271
100 year old house doesn't have a ghost or two flying around.

00:18:11.622 --> 00:18:11.791
Right.

00:18:13.001 --> 00:18:20.001
That's freaky, man, having a dream and then a shadowy figure being in your room and that's just nuts.

00:18:20.011 --> 00:18:23.811
So it was the dream and then the shadowy figure was...

00:18:24.696 --> 00:18:26.856
Upon waking, like actually there, well it

00:18:26.856 --> 00:18:33.426
was, yeah, there was a guy in there with, you know, stuff to tie me up and like all this stuff and, and I got out and got away.

00:18:34.537 --> 00:18:35.406
But she would do things.

00:18:35.412 --> 00:18:38.287
Wait, so did I, did I totally miss that?

00:18:38.287 --> 00:18:44.227
Like you were about to get kidnapped and tied up by a real flesh person in a room?

00:18:44.227 --> 00:18:44.737
Yes.

00:18:44.886 --> 00:18:45.396
And.

00:18:46.951 --> 00:18:47.942
Wow, I'm so slow.

00:18:48.201 --> 00:18:50.991
Anybody listening are going to be like, catch up, John.

00:18:51.412 --> 00:18:52.332
I'm in La La Land.

00:18:52.412 --> 00:18:53.781
I'm just, I'm like, wow.

00:18:53.811 --> 00:18:54.422
Ghosts.

00:18:54.471 --> 00:18:54.862
Cool.

00:18:54.872 --> 00:18:57.071
You're like, no, I almost like got kidnapped.

00:18:57.102 --> 00:18:57.731
That's nuts.

00:18:58.001 --> 00:18:58.781
That's crazy.

00:18:58.981 --> 00:19:00.352
Sorry for the delayed reaction.

00:19:00.582 --> 00:19:03.182
No, I'm glad that, uh, you got the warning shot.

00:19:03.192 --> 00:19:03.612
Wow.

00:19:03.682 --> 00:19:03.711
And

00:19:04.832 --> 00:19:11.271
she would do little things like I had, I was a teacher at the time and I had this pen that a student had given to me for Christmas.

00:19:11.281 --> 00:19:13.332
So like all nice things, I lost it.

00:19:13.842 --> 00:19:14.412
And.

00:19:14.991 --> 00:19:22.311
Months go by, and then I get up one morning, and I go to get dressed, and there on my dresser is the pen, but it's taken apart, and it's lined up in a straight line.

00:19:22.936 --> 00:19:26.727
So little things like that, and I lived alone, I had a dog, but the dog didn't have thumbs.

00:19:26.727 --> 00:19:28.096
It would have been really hard to unscrew the pen.

00:19:28.636 --> 00:19:34.007
But yeah, little things like that would happen, you know, not infrequently.

00:19:34.817 --> 00:19:35.707
That's freaky.

00:19:35.896 --> 00:19:36.396
Okay.

00:19:37.217 --> 00:19:37.767
Okay.

00:19:37.957 --> 00:19:39.636
So, Will.

00:19:41.707 --> 00:19:42.846
But she was good, so so.

00:19:43.257 --> 00:19:46.707
Well, that's, that's, that's, that's, that's a positive thing, right?

00:19:46.707 --> 00:19:49.356
To, to have your experience, have it.

00:19:49.846 --> 00:20:00.977
A continual positive experience and more of like, not a haunting, more of like, you hear more of the hauntings because it's just more sensational and less like, Oh, it's, you know, it's Casper.

00:20:00.987 --> 00:20:06.987
It's my friend, but it's a female that lost her head, which is nuts.

00:20:08.186 --> 00:20:09.497
Well, actually, no, no, she didn't lose her head.

00:20:09.507 --> 00:20:10.307
It was just the dream.

00:20:10.356 --> 00:20:12.237
I'm getting all kinds of mixed up, but that's crazy.

00:20:13.027 --> 00:20:13.777
I mean, you never know.

00:20:15.971 --> 00:20:16.261
Yeah.

00:20:16.592 --> 00:20:16.991
Shoot.

00:20:18.192 --> 00:20:18.561
Okay.

00:20:18.561 --> 00:20:22.231
Well, what is your, uh, what is your experience?

00:20:22.862 --> 00:20:23.231
Okay.

00:20:23.281 --> 00:20:27.432
Well, I've been debating all this time, which story to share with you.

00:20:27.471 --> 00:20:32.061
And I think most of the people that have heard my butterfly story, you want to hear my butterfly story, reach out to me.

00:20:32.061 --> 00:20:38.582
I'm happy to send you the audio file of my butterfly story, but something more recent happened that I think I haven't talked about a lot.

00:20:38.632 --> 00:20:40.491
So I'll go ahead and share that.

00:20:41.412 --> 00:20:43.382
I'm traveling a lot for work these days.

00:20:45.186 --> 00:20:47.196
When I fly, I have this.

00:20:47.537 --> 00:20:49.487
Habit of always checking.

00:20:49.517 --> 00:20:59.686
I, I have the online app and I open up the app and I double check to make sure I'm checked in on the airline and the seat that I'm in and all kind of thing.

00:20:59.727 --> 00:21:01.717
I check it before I go to bed the night before.

00:21:01.727 --> 00:21:03.676
I did that this time around.

00:21:03.787 --> 00:21:07.977
The next morning, uh, as I'm getting ready to check out of the hotel, I do it again.

00:21:08.037 --> 00:21:12.176
And sure enough, I see I'm in seat 20D in this particular instance.

00:21:12.646 --> 00:21:14.196
So everything's all cool.

00:21:14.576 --> 00:21:16.676
I go into the airport.

00:21:16.856 --> 00:21:17.856
I go through security.

00:21:17.876 --> 00:21:21.057
Of course, you have to go and, uh, and give them your boarding pass.

00:21:21.057 --> 00:21:25.586
And as I'm pulling out my phone to scan my boarding pass, I see again, I'm in seat 20D.

00:21:27.156 --> 00:21:32.886
Again, when I go into the gate, they call our, uh, section or whatever.

00:21:32.997 --> 00:21:37.096
And I go and I scan the boarding pass on this pad thing.

00:21:37.096 --> 00:21:39.507
I look at it again to make sure, yep, it's still 20D.

00:21:40.196 --> 00:21:46.721
And even as I'm about to get onto the plane, I do one last check because I'm that.

00:21:47.227 --> 00:21:49.116
Obsessive convulsive disorder guy.

00:21:49.146 --> 00:21:49.416
Right?

00:21:49.416 --> 00:21:51.247
So I check it, make sure it's 20 D.

00:21:51.247 --> 00:21:51.787
Yeah, sure enough.

00:21:51.787 --> 00:21:53.676
20 D And I put the phone in my pocket at that point.

00:21:54.346 --> 00:21:56.416
So I go down the aisle, the air, the airplane.

00:21:56.477 --> 00:21:59.926
I sit down and I lo, I locate 20 D I'm very excited.

00:21:59.987 --> 00:22:01.936
'cause there's a, there's someone sitting on the window.

00:22:01.967 --> 00:22:03.076
No one in the aisles.

00:22:03.106 --> 00:22:05.146
I mean, not in the aisle, in the, uh, in the middle seat.

00:22:05.237 --> 00:22:07.336
I happen to ha be sitting in the aisle.

00:22:08.767 --> 00:22:10.826
So I'm excited because maybe I'll have some leg room.

00:22:10.856 --> 00:22:11.436
Who knows?

00:22:11.557 --> 00:22:12.916
I sit in 20D and I'm excited.

00:22:12.916 --> 00:22:13.477
I'm just sitting here.

00:22:13.477 --> 00:22:15.217
I pick up my book and I'll start reading it.

00:22:15.247 --> 00:22:18.196
And this lady comes down and stops next to me and goes, I'm sorry, sir.

00:22:18.196 --> 00:22:19.076
You're in my seat.

00:22:19.606 --> 00:22:21.767
I was like, well, I'm, you, I'm sorry.

00:22:21.767 --> 00:22:22.836
You must be mistaken.

00:22:23.146 --> 00:22:24.146
I'm in 20D.

00:22:24.737 --> 00:22:26.666
And she goes, no, I'm, I'm in 20D.

00:22:27.027 --> 00:22:31.826
Uh, I said, you, you must be meaning 20.

00:22:32.622 --> 00:22:33.551
Was it E, right?

00:22:33.622 --> 00:23:02.511
I assume she meant the middle seat because I knew, I looked at my phone, I was on 20D, I looked at it several times, I knew for a fact, and I pulled my phone up to show her that I indeed was sitting in seat 20D, and as I'm looking at it, in a split second, it was 20D and in a split second, just like that, it switched to 20C, like it was so fast that it could have been a complete trick of my mind.

00:23:03.172 --> 00:23:14.041
I could have been like mistaken, but I checked, John, I checked this app 15, 000 times before and just before I got on the plane, it was 20D.

00:23:14.412 --> 00:23:23.862
I looked at the phone incredulously and the flight attendant had to knock me out of my senses because he's like, sir, you're obviously in 20C.

00:23:23.862 --> 00:23:24.692
Can you move over?

00:23:24.692 --> 00:23:26.852
It's like, oh my God, I'm so sorry.

00:23:26.892 --> 00:23:28.442
I could have sworn, nevermind.

00:23:28.612 --> 00:23:30.251
So I grab my stuff and I go to sit in 20C.

00:23:32.057 --> 00:23:34.757
Completely floored, like what the hell just happened?

00:23:35.807 --> 00:23:37.196
And then, it hit me.

00:23:37.997 --> 00:23:45.727
We are all living in our own realities that we are constantly shifting from reality to reality.

00:23:46.067 --> 00:23:53.027
We are just so blind to these kinds of shifts that happen to us all the time that we don't notice it.

00:23:53.467 --> 00:23:58.626
But it just so happened that my OCD forced me to see it in action, in the moment.

00:23:59.182 --> 00:24:01.061
You heard of the Mandela effect, right?

00:24:01.422 --> 00:24:03.582
This is a perfect example of the Mandela.

00:24:03.701 --> 00:24:09.682
I swear, John, it was 20D and in front of my eyes, the thing shifted to 20C as I'm looking at it.

00:24:10.281 --> 00:24:16.912
So for some reason, this lady was supposed to sit in 20D next to her husband, I guess, and maybe that's why the universe shifted me over.

00:24:17.291 --> 00:24:20.602
I don't really know why, but I was so floored and I never.

00:24:21.477 --> 00:24:26.967
Pull my laptop out of my, on the airplane, but I had to write the storm down so that I wouldn't forget.

00:24:26.997 --> 00:24:37.287
'cause I have a theory that this happens to us all the time, and our subconscious minds just rush it over and we forget about it in the in, in a second.

00:24:37.557 --> 00:24:39.146
So I wanted to make sure I did not forget it.

00:24:39.152 --> 00:24:48.837
So I wrote everything down and I am convinced 100% that I witnessed reality shifting in the middle of an airplane as I was watching it.

00:24:50.586 --> 00:24:52.317
Did you drink anything before getting on?

00:24:52.317 --> 00:24:52.326
I

00:24:54.326 --> 00:24:54.676
asked him.

00:24:54.896 --> 00:24:56.086
Hey, that's

00:24:56.086 --> 00:24:56.807
my question.

00:24:56.807 --> 00:25:01.416
I was just calling.

00:25:01.416 --> 00:25:02.146
I Had a little

00:25:02.146 --> 00:25:03.656
extra nips in the back pocket?

00:25:03.656 --> 00:25:04.267
He would never get a middle seat.

00:25:05.856 --> 00:25:14.826
No, it's, it's, it's, uh, I'm, I'm, I, believe me, I sat in that chair and I tried to explain it away a thousand times.

00:25:14.826 --> 00:25:15.477
Could it have been this?

00:25:15.507 --> 00:25:15.997
Could it have been that?

00:25:15.997 --> 00:25:16.592
Could it have been that?

00:25:16.872 --> 00:25:25.201
I looked, the, the pragmatist in me is, was refusing to believe that this could actually have happened.

00:25:25.602 --> 00:25:35.842
But because I've been doing this show for so long now, and I'm much more open to Karen's point, I'm much more open to things, the, that side of me was going, well, cut the crap.

00:25:36.221 --> 00:25:36.842
Cut the crap.

00:25:37.041 --> 00:25:40.531
This is, you've been asking for proof, you've been asking for proof, here's your proof.

00:25:40.882 --> 00:25:42.711
Stop trying to talk it away.

00:25:43.451 --> 00:25:44.912
Stop trying to rationalize it.

00:25:45.446 --> 00:25:48.596
And finally, I just decided, you know what?

00:25:49.126 --> 00:25:49.567
Screw it.

00:25:49.826 --> 00:25:56.727
Yes, I'm going to believe this is proof that we are in a very mysterious universe that we're living in right now.

00:25:57.067 --> 00:26:03.287
And no matter how much I tried, the pragmatic side of me tried to explain it away, it couldn't.

00:26:03.497 --> 00:26:03.926
It couldn't.

00:26:03.926 --> 00:26:04.896
So I just let it go.

00:26:05.067 --> 00:26:09.926
And now I'm just living with the belief that, with the knowledge, sorry.

00:26:10.241 --> 00:26:13.652
That we are living in a very strange universe.

00:26:15.362 --> 00:26:33.021
I was reflecting on what you said and I was thinking of all the logical things that you may have, might have gone through after looking at your seat for four times before you sat down and then at least four times and then it just Looking at it and seeing it flip.

00:26:33.112 --> 00:26:40.317
That's even more crazy without any drugs or alcohol, so that's Very interesting.

00:26:40.586 --> 00:26:41.926
And I'm thinking, you know what?

00:26:42.866 --> 00:26:43.406
Hmm.

00:26:43.846 --> 00:26:52.826
What if the flight, whoever manages that flight, maybe they swapped your seat, but for them to do it, Everything else has to switch.

00:26:52.846 --> 00:27:00.836
I'm sure the, the, like, she was in your seat and then someone like, why would she swap seats over?

00:27:00.836 --> 00:27:01.366
It's weird.

00:27:01.366 --> 00:27:03.727
Why would you, because you, you were still in aisle C, right?

00:27:03.727 --> 00:27:06.086
You, I think D is still in aisle C.

00:27:07.047 --> 00:27:08.267
I just crossed the aisle.

00:27:08.396 --> 00:27:08.606
Yeah.

00:27:08.807 --> 00:27:09.207
Yeah.

00:27:10.047 --> 00:27:12.037
Why would you swap aisle seats?

00:27:12.426 --> 00:27:21.037
Well, I thought about that and I thought maybe, maybe they had shifted my seat and, uh, the app just hadn't updated, but I had.

00:27:21.406 --> 00:27:30.047
Refreshed that seat that app several times as I'm looking I refresh it every time because I want to make sure I got the right seat There was nothing like that happening.

00:27:30.287 --> 00:27:39.497
It was literally Usually when when the app refreshes it will you know that little circle of death thing It'll happen tonight for a second before it switches.

00:27:39.896 --> 00:27:41.696
This was a 20d.

00:27:41.946 --> 00:27:52.832
That's what you see It was like it was faster than that it was a blink of an eye the blink of an eye change from 20 to 20 see without without it was a A literal shift in reality.

00:27:54.501 --> 00:27:54.971
I don't know how else

00:27:57.892 --> 00:27:58.468
to explain it.

00:27:58.468 --> 00:27:59.886
That reminds me of, uh, quantum leaping.

00:27:59.886 --> 00:28:00.089
Yes.

00:28:00.089 --> 00:28:04.481
Where people do that on purpose for avoiding traffic.

00:28:04.491 --> 00:28:04.511
No,

00:28:06.422 --> 00:28:07.211
you're right, you're right.

00:28:07.211 --> 00:28:11.791
We've talked to people that have mentioned, was it reality trans surfing?

00:28:11.991 --> 00:28:16.821
Where we actually, what you do, you've heard of manifest in a way, the law of attraction.

00:28:16.821 --> 00:28:16.896
Thank you.

00:28:17.436 --> 00:28:25.727
What the theory is that what you're actually doing is you are shifting yourself to another reality where you have that thing that you're trying to manifest.

00:28:25.866 --> 00:28:26.606
You just shift.

00:28:27.186 --> 00:28:38.567
So quantum physics, here we go again, states that every possibility in the universe, everything that could possibly have happened, be happening, is happening concurrently at the same time.

00:28:39.196 --> 00:28:42.326
And what we're doing is we're flipping from one reality to the next.

00:28:42.632 --> 00:28:59.352
So when you, uh, manifest a, uh, red Volkswagen, you want a red Volkswagen, you work really hard to make that happen, you shift into a reality where you have that red Volkswagen, and that red Volkswagen comes into your life because of that shift that you do.

00:28:59.652 --> 00:29:01.832
That's the theory, and we've talked about people that do that.

00:29:02.031 --> 00:29:04.902
They call it quantum, uh, quantum jumping or, um...

00:29:06.672 --> 00:29:06.741
Yeah.

00:29:06.741 --> 00:29:10.451
You're just moving your consciousness to different, you know, different little realities.

00:29:10.571 --> 00:29:10.711
Yeah.

00:29:10.721 --> 00:29:11.031
I feel,

00:29:11.142 --> 00:29:13.382
I feel bad for the person you swap with, right?

00:29:14.817 --> 00:29:15.866
I think it a him sham.

00:29:16.707 --> 00:29:17.247
I was so

00:29:17.247 --> 00:29:17.636
close.

00:29:17.636 --> 00:29:18.896
It did all the work.

00:29:20.487 --> 00:29:20.727
dammit.

00:29:21.116 --> 00:29:23.277
They walk up to the dealership and they're like, it's true.

00:29:23.906 --> 00:29:24.626
Where's my car?

00:29:24.866 --> 00:29:27.727
And you're like, showing up This is only a blue one.

00:29:27.926 --> 00:29:28.326
I said, red,

00:29:28.707 --> 00:29:29.727
yellow, I don't understand.

00:29:30.297 --> 00:29:30.646
Right.

00:29:31.007 --> 00:29:37.346
I mean it did all the, the rabbit hole gets deep because to Karen's point, but it's your consciousness.

00:29:37.346 --> 00:29:37.797
So really.

00:29:38.047 --> 00:29:41.326
Which consciousness is the real consciousness, right?

00:29:41.326 --> 00:29:43.307
We're, we're all conscious in all realities.

00:29:43.317 --> 00:29:44.777
So how is it like,

00:29:45.886 --> 00:29:46.767
Oh, my God, here we go.

00:29:47.386 --> 00:29:48.747
Are there, it's like shells everywhere.

00:29:48.826 --> 00:29:49.957
You're just popping into different ones.

00:29:50.037 --> 00:29:50.227
I

00:29:50.227 --> 00:29:52.946
mean, we're talking to people that said that, that we.

00:29:59.082 --> 00:29:59.602
But, uh,

00:30:01.511 --> 00:30:06.182
we've talked to people that say that, um, I, that, you know, I completely lost my train of thought.

00:30:06.182 --> 00:30:06.892
So let's just go on.

00:30:10.961 --> 00:30:15.991
People are often surprised that, that, you know, we've been doing this podcast together for a long time, that we don't have the same beliefs.

00:30:16.501 --> 00:30:21.402
And we do have similar beliefs in some regards, but in some ways we're like, Nope, I'm like, Nope, you're wrong.

00:30:21.491 --> 00:30:22.382
He's like, Nope, you're wrong.

00:30:22.382 --> 00:30:24.021
Or, you know, not necessarily wrong.

00:30:24.031 --> 00:30:29.432
We don't say wrong anymore, but I believe this, well, I believe that, but a lot of times they're vastly different.

00:30:29.951 --> 00:30:34.432
And you know, that's kind of the fun of it keeps things interesting conversations.

00:30:34.876 --> 00:30:39.926
All right, that wraps up part one of this two part series episode.

00:30:40.406 --> 00:30:53.667
Next week, we're going to go deeper into their personal stories and we're going to highlight the power of community and how that can break physics and break your reality.

00:30:53.718 --> 00:30:55.097
You're not going to want to miss it.

00:30:55.117 --> 00:30:56.428
Stay tuned for next week.

00:30:56.468 --> 00:30:57.337
I'll see you then.

00:30:57.394 --> 00:30:57.964
See ya.

Show Bio
Like Mulder from the X-Files, we want to believe.

So we've embarked on a journey of discovery. We’ve talked to people deeply entrenched in the spiritual, metaphysical, and mystical worlds. We've thrown ourselves into weird and wonderful experiences, and we're sharing them with you in an effort to find the trick to self-growth.

Whether your interests lie in the metaphysical or the spiritual or even grounded in the three dimensional world, this show will help you explore the endless possibilities of self growth....tinged with a hint of the supernatural.

Our listeners are men and women that are interested in learning about the metaphysical, paranormal and esoteric, but may not yet have 100% full confidence that the stuff we explore is real. They're open-minded, but not gullible and are interested in things not completely proven to be based on scientific fact in the traditional sense. We also appeal to people that are really interested in these things but don't know how or where to start.

One of us is a true pragmatist, while the other sees the world with a sense of wonder. These differing approaches allow us to reach many different types of people, from the skeptical scientist to the lover of all things woo!
