No, but really, what do you do in luxury beauty brand marketing and eCommerce? Amanda Kahn shares her journey from undergrad education and internships in marketing through her early career in the beauty industry to leading a large, cross-functional team of marketers, merchandisers, product developers and more. We discuss evolutions she’s seen during her career, especially in digital marketing and the ways she and her team communicate—from Zoom to in-office product testing meetings to a shared Instagram DM for inspirational posts. And she shares insights on the importance of staying connected to your network, keeping a pulse on trends and competitors, trusting your team’s recommendations, learning from mistakes, asking critical questions, transferability of skills between industries, and listening to the consumer.
