Sports Illustrated's Kim Becker: A Disney Princess on Ice covering the NFL and College Football

This week on the Original Sports Podcast we are excited to interview Kim Becker. Becker is a host and reporter for Sports Illustrated's coverage of the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos and USC Trojans. She was a professional ice skater with Disney On Ice for ten years before getting her degree in broadcast journalism from Chapman University in Orange, CA. She interned at FOX Sports in LA where she got to shadow  show talent and learn the behind the scenes of live productions. Football is by far her favorite sport to cover but hockey and basketball are a close second and third. One day she hopes to host her own live sports talk show for a major network.

We will talk with Kim about her early profession as an ice skater working for Disney on Ice.  What motivated her to complete her degree in sports journalism and about some of her earlier stops in route to her current position with Sports Illustrated covering the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos and the USC Trojans. We will also discuss with KIm her take in regards to recruiting this season and how she sees it being impacted by the pandemic. 

For our Decade Definers segment we will ask Kim to share with us some of the most exciting games she has covered thus far in her career.
