Just when you thought college football couldn’t get more exciting, things start to play themself out at the midpoint. Real ones rise and pretenders stop contending. Our show plays out with spontaneous directions, the top games in review from Week 7 of the NFL season, the impacts of NIL on college sports and we finish up with our picks for week 8. Next week’s show will be a special one, on location. You’re not gonna want to miss this one!

Take Away: what the hell happened to the Lions? Are the Ravens this good? Are the Lions not ready for a real team? Lamar is an early season MVP now that he has his primary target back full strength in Mark Andrews.
Commanders 7 Giants 14
Take Away: The Commanders epitomize the definition of inconsistency in the NFL. One week they will look lights out and challenge a team thats playing good football then the next week its in the can. Neubs, besides the Head COach what does this team need to do to stay in the hunt as the season progresses?
Bills 25 Patriots 29
Take Aways: I put this down as a game for us to talk about not thinking the Bills would look so bad again and lose. It was Bellicheck’s 300th win. (wonder how many were legit and how many were with a little help (wink, wink) Have the BIlls lost the formula to be in the AFC hunt. Why did they change the winning formula for their offense?

Take Aways: How did Pittsnurgh put together 21 second half points? Its a celebration! TJ Watt turned the tide for them AGAIN. Kenny Brister, I mean Pickett did look controlled and solid the second half. The running game helped. 2 for 29 Kupp but Puca had a career day and at one point had more yards than Pittsburgh. Thoughts on DJ’s finger wag and GP going after Yeast?
Chargers 17 Chiefs 31
Take Aways: This was the KC that we expected right? Mahomes had a great day with 400 plus yards and 4 tds. Kelce doing Kelce things but they have to be able to stop someone in the playoffs and have more than just Kelce. When is Herbert going to take the next step and what is wrong with him not being able to go to the next level of play? Has that Chargers D improved any?

Take aways: So much to unpack. Hurts had a very solid day, Miami seemed strapped and the refs, well the refs can’t be an excuse but sometimes that can be the case.
Tyson Bagent 21/29 162 pass, 24 rush, 1 pass td, 97.2 PR 3 TDs and 1 fg drives lead 30-12 Win

Underclassmen Heisman winner Expectations who return to school, Good or bad? Should they now be rewarded with guaranteed NIL money?
