The mission of SNLT is to support, empower and advocate for sexual assault survivors through the creation of safe spaces for survivors to share their story in creative ways, to provide survivors, allies and advocates the skills required to organize and advocate for themselves and others, and to dismantle stereotypes and erode the systemic causes of sexual violence through awareness, education and the legislative process.

Greta McClain

I am an energetic, outgoing, grounded woman who is passionate about making the world a better place. I am a former police officer, victims of crime advocate and domestic violence outreach coordinator and support group facilitator. After being raped (the second time I experienced sexual assault) in June of 2017, I became the #Metoo Caucus facilitator at Women's March 2018. I founded Silent No Longer Tennessee in February 2018 to use my trauma to share my story and help others find the hope and healing I found. My goal each time I speak is to reach one person and convince them there is life after sexual assault, and that our assault does not have to define us.
