Mary started educating herself on all-things-real estate, going to open houses, and listening to established investors before taking the plunge and investing in her first rental property in March of 2020. Since then, Mary and her husband have expanded their portfolio to 8 properties which has allowed them to have freedom from the restraints of living on a teacher's salary.
