Summary:
On today’s show I want to talk about something we all have to deal with as Realtors—tough feedback and hard conversations. Whether it’s a house not appraising or a client criticizing your performance, you’ve got to get good at taking the tough feedback or talking about the hard things. I often find that the people having more success are the ones who respond well to tough feedback, tough information, criticism—whatever you want to call it. And the people that are not having success make excuses—they blame someone else. They say it's not their fault—that it's a misunderstanding. I believe that so much of your success in the real estate business goes back to how do you respond to tough feedback and hard conversations. The point here is if you want to be a great realtor, you have to be willing to take tough feedback—you have to hear it, apply it, learn from it, and grow from it. In this podcast, I give you two examples of hard conversations that I hope will really make you think about how you handle feedback and how you have the hard conversations.
