Chief Wyman is thirty-two year Law Enforcement veteran. He retired as the Chief of Police for the Town of Sandwich, NH in 2020, and later served as the Chief of Campus Police for the Worcester State Hospital, in Worcester, MA. Chief Wyman currently serves as an Investigator for the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, Office of Investigations. Chief Wyman has an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from the New Hampshire Technical Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Divinity from Liberty University.
Chief Wyman served on the Board of Directors for the New England Association of Chiefs of Police and served as the NH Chiefs of Police representative on the NH Governor’s Advisory Council for Diversity and Inclusion. Chief Wyman received a Community Policing Award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police in 2011.
Chief Wyman is a certified Chaplain and is an instructor at the Justice Research and Training Institute at Roger Williams University and a Crisis Intervention Team Program Instructor for the States of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
