Bard, MD, is a NYC Diagnostic imaging specialist & expert in cancer scanning (“the cancer detective”) He will talk about his leading edge 3-D technology for non-invasive scanning to detect cancers in numerous organs including the breast, prostate, skin, thyroid, melanoma and other areas. Dr. Bard’s images are used to accurately guide biopsies, target therapy and provide focused follow-up after treatment.
Lennard M. Gettz, Ed.D. founded the the NY Cancer Resource Alliance which brings public awareness about prevention and early detection initiatives to first responders. Lenn is also Vice President of Operations of FACES (Firefighters Against Cancer and Exposures).
