The best healthcare systems in the world are both profit-driven and deeply competitive.
Brandon Weber and I both believe that what's missing in our current system is that "deeply competitive" part.
As Brandon shares in the clip below, a good, fair, effective health system can still be profit-driven, as is the case with numerous other industries that function well for both consumers and businesses. But, when health companies have monopolies and consumers have no choice, we end up with a healthcare system full of waste and exploitation.
