Photography aside, I'm a southern girl, wife to my college sweetheart, mama to two cool kiddos, teacher to my fellow photographers, and a lover of people and Jesus. I'm prone to wanderlust- as witnessed by the 50 states and 15 countries I've been to so far - and feel so blessed that my job allows me to capture clients around the globe. When I'm not photographing weddings or anniversaries, you'll find me cozied up in our Nashville cottage, educating photographers through online courses and in-person workshops, or hanging out at my favorite place ever, Disney World.

While I stepped away from teaching to pursue photography almost ten years ago, I've had the opportunity to continue my teaching career by educating thousands of photographers. From workshops and speaking engagements to courses and guides, my teacher's heart adores helping other creatives grow. The truth is, I'm just a small-town girl that built a successful business from the ground up. I know the struggles that come along with running a photography business because I've experienced them firsthand.
