Are you ready for a new season of Sounds Like Adventure, the actual play podcast that combines short runtimes, fun role-play, and great sound design? We are so excited to share with you our latest adventures in the city of Ethel Grove, a hidden metropolis within a forest, where magic and mystery abound.
But that’s not all. We also have a special surprise for you. We want to give you the opportunity to join us in a one-of-a-kind tabletop game experience, where you can create your own character, explore Ethel Grove, and interact with us.
That’s right, we’re doing a giveaway, and you could be one of the lucky winners who will get to play in a special short campaign with us.
How to enter
Entering the giveaway is easy. All you have to do is:
- Follow or subscribe to Sounds Like Adventure in your favourite podcast app. You can find us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and more.
- Follow Sounds Like Adventure on Instagram and like our giveaway post. You can find us at @soundslike_pod.
- Comment on our giveaway post, tagging three friends who are into tabletop games, podcasts, or both.
That’s it. You’re in. You can enter as many times as you want, as long as you tag different friends each time. The more you enter, the more chances you have to win.
What you’ll win
Up to 10 finalists will be selected from all the entries. From there we'll have a selection process where we'll pick the three winners. Each winner will get to play in a special short campaign set in Ethel Grove, the same world as our podcast.
The campaign will be DM’ed by Jack and you’ll get to be a player alongside Chi and Jacob as they play two new characters. You’ll get to create your own character, using the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition, the same system we use for our podcast.
Terms and conditions
Before you enter, please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By entering the giveaway, you agree to abide by them.
- The giveaway is open to anyone who is 18 years or older, based in Australia, and who has access to a stable internet connection and a device that can run Discord and Roll20, the platforms we'll use to run the game.
- The giveaway starts on January 23, 2024, and ends on February 24, 2024, at 11:59 PM AEDT. Any entries received after that will not be counted.
- The finalists will be selected by March 9th, 2024 and be announced on our website. The finalists will also be contacted via direct message on Instagram, and will have 48 hours to respond and confirm their participation. If a finalist does not respond within that time, a new finalist will be selected and contacted.
- The winners will also have to agree to follow the rules and etiquette of the game, as set by the DM, and to respect the other players and the DM. Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior will result in the removal of the winner from the game and the giveaway.
- The date and time of the game will be decided by the DM and the winners, based on their availability and time zones. The game will be conducted in English.
- The giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Apple, Spotify, Google, or any other platform or entity.
