Fly fishing for musky can be an exciting experience. You have to find them first. More times than not musky fishing is a lot about looking for fish and blind casting. But, when a fish comes to the fly, that is when this pursuit heats up to the hottest fishing you can imagine. It's the only type of fishing where a follow is counted by anglers and guides. A catch is a bonus.
On this episode of Southeastern Fly David is joined by Musky Fool owner Dan Donovan. Dan and David talk about musky on the fly through the stratification of water temps. They take the experience from warmer, late Summer and early Fall, down to wintertime fishing for these toothy critters.
Their conversation will certainly make you think about musky in different ways under many different circumstances. Thanks for listening.
