Frank Magree is an Australian actor, writer, filmmaker, director, podcaster and voiceover artist.
As an actor, he’s best known for his roles in Romper Stomper, Danny Deckchair and Redball, Ned Kelly, Underbelly, House Husbands and Bed of Roses. But if you’re sure you’ve seen his face on a regular beat like Neighbours (he was the first character to wield a gun, adding to his repertoire of being a gun-wielder), Stingers, Rush, State Coroner, Blue Heelers, City Homicide, Satisfaction and Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries; yes, of course you have, tons of times over – he makes a very gracious guest.
More recently, Frank has been focusing on filmmaking. His short film Sengatan (2016) picked up 12 awards in Australia and internationally, while Run South (2021) had its Australian premiere at Flickerfest and showcased at LA Shorts International Film Festival, and was profiled in Film Ink and the Sydney Morning Herald.
