It started when . . . Stories That Inspire Us

There are defining moments in our lives that if we don’t take those first steps, we may never know what would have been.  What about the times that we have found ourselves in the thick of it, not of our own doing?  I know what you may be thinking - okay great, what exactly does she mean?

I believe we are meant to do and be something more; perhaps more than we thought and it’s during the tumultuous times in our lives where the “shitay” hits the fan.  I could write a novel on this subject as I guess many of you may perhaps feel the same.

This past week, the words that I felt were “Stories That Inspire Us” and it hit me like a thunderbolt.  It was instinctively then that I knew there are so many people I am meant to assist them in telling their stories in a safe and encouraging environment; for them to know they had a voice, that someone is not only “hearing” but are truly listening to their story with the purpose of shedding light of what they have been through in the hopes of inspiring others to do the same.  That is what this first episode is about - the welcome and more specifically for me:
