00:00:01.562 --> 00:00:04.185
Good afternoon.

00:00:04.185 --> 00:00:11.355
I am currently in Marietta, georgia, out on the horse farm.

00:00:11.355 --> 00:00:21.007
It is a beautiful morning, not too hot here in Hotlanta, absolutely gorgeous.

00:00:21.007 --> 00:00:23.972
The horses are just out enjoying life.

00:00:23.972 --> 00:00:25.934
I love watching them.

00:00:25.934 --> 00:00:31.288
They're so beautiful and so strong and so peaceful.

00:00:31.288 --> 00:00:38.484
They're a beautiful, beautiful animal to watch and there's so much life out here on the farm.

00:00:39.587 --> 00:00:43.374
The kittens well, there's two cats.

00:00:43.374 --> 00:00:52.273
One we call kitten it's not a a kitten but we call him kitten and he just he plays the in and out game in the door, out the door, in the door, out the door.

00:00:52.273 --> 00:01:04.608
And daddy cat, he is a little scaredy cat, he will not come in the house and so you know he's one that admires from afar.

00:01:04.608 --> 00:01:07.694
But I love watching both of them play out on the farm.

00:01:07.694 --> 00:01:14.253
And then we have I think there's about 12 to 17 horses.

00:01:14.253 --> 00:01:17.790
I haven't really counted how many are out there.

00:01:17.790 --> 00:01:23.694
But my friend, she is a horse trainer and she trains.

00:01:23.694 --> 00:01:30.225
She's a jumper, so she trains the horses to jump, she does shows and it's just it's.

00:01:30.225 --> 00:01:45.834
I really admire the work and and she looks so beautiful out there on the horses and she has customers coming and this is called Wilson Show Stable, wilson Show Stable, and it's a.

00:01:45.834 --> 00:01:56.941
It's a beautiful business and a beautiful area and it's so peaceful to come out here, especially after a lot of flying, and let me share with you.

00:01:56.941 --> 00:01:58.463
Oh, my goodness, can't wait to share.

00:01:58.463 --> 00:02:06.736
But before I share, we also have some donkeys out here and they are adorable.

00:02:06.736 --> 00:02:09.329
They are so fun to watch.

00:02:09.329 --> 00:02:18.034
So it's just it's very much connecting with Mother Nature, rejuvenating, relaxing of the soul.

00:02:18.034 --> 00:02:25.288
It's a beautiful place to come and just kind of reset, reset the mind.

00:02:25.288 --> 00:02:34.787
So, yes, let me share with you my adventures and travels and insights and exciting news.

00:02:34.787 --> 00:02:42.224
So much to share with everyone today and thank you so much for tuning in to Travel with Monica.

00:02:42.925 --> 00:02:53.007
I want this to be sharing my experiences of what it's like to be a flight attendant traveling the world.

00:02:53.007 --> 00:03:09.955
I always wanted to do this and I've been doing it for the past 13 years and I know many people reach out to me and say, oh my gosh, I always wanted to be a flight attendant and hopefully through this experience I'll take you with me.

00:03:09.955 --> 00:03:23.734
You get to experience what it's like to be a flight attendant, a fly girl, travel the world, just having adventures and experiences and the good, the bad and the ugly and the beautiful.

00:03:23.734 --> 00:03:44.688
So this last trip was to Albuquerque, new Mexico, and I have had layovers there before, but I don't remember getting out and really experiencing the culture, experiencing the city at all.

00:03:44.688 --> 00:03:46.768
So this was really fun.

00:03:46.768 --> 00:03:56.432
So I had, let's see, I think almost 31 hour layover there and it was just.

00:03:56.432 --> 00:03:57.574
It was so nice.

00:03:57.680 --> 00:04:23.214
The hotel was very beautiful, very relaxing, in a good location, and I was flying with the most amazing crew, just go-getters, and we had one guy that's been with our company for about almost six years, one girl that's been with our company for over 30 years and the other gal was just about a year in.

00:04:23.214 --> 00:04:39.665
But they were hard workers, they were friendly, they were fun, great conversation and I'm telling you, your crew makes it or breaks it, and these guys were just an absolute gem, a treasure, a joy to hang out with.

00:04:39.665 --> 00:04:40.826
They were so much fun.

00:04:40.826 --> 00:04:50.624
So the guy that I was flying with, it turns out he brought his camera and he is a photographer, and so is the girl.

00:04:50.624 --> 00:04:53.370
The girl is a photographer as well.

00:04:53.370 --> 00:04:57.543
And I said to them oh my gosh, this is so exciting.

00:04:57.543 --> 00:05:04.151
I said I brought my prototype bag, my sample bag that I just launched.

00:05:04.151 --> 00:05:10.285
It's a weekender bag and it's called Fly Girl and I need some promotional pictures.

00:05:10.285 --> 00:05:12.211
Would you be willing to take some pictures?

00:05:12.211 --> 00:05:19.225
I brought dresses, I brought my bag and I was so excited, you guys, to get my bag.

00:05:19.225 --> 00:05:27.475
Oh my gosh, it's so cute, it's a perfect size weekender bag and the quality was just beautiful.

00:05:27.475 --> 00:05:28.802
It's a canvas bag.

00:05:28.802 --> 00:05:34.139
It folds up small enough to fit in my luggage, which was absolutely amazing.

00:05:34.139 --> 00:05:38.129
You unfold it and then you could use it for the gym or for travel.

00:05:38.129 --> 00:05:41.877
So off, off we went.

00:05:42.158 --> 00:05:56.855
So we had a ton of flying the first day get to Albuquerque, new Mexico, late and in the morning wake up and we meet downstairs and we do some promotional pictures downstairs in the lobby.

00:05:56.855 --> 00:06:06.327
And the lobby you guys, gorgeous, gorgeous, had like faux palm trees and like retro looking furniture.

00:06:06.327 --> 00:06:14.966
It was kind of like a sunken, it looked like a sunken living room and it had a grand piano.

00:06:14.966 --> 00:06:19.997
Oh my goodness, it really, really was beautiful.

00:06:19.997 --> 00:06:45.095
And if you get on my not if when you go to takeflightwithmonicacom, you become access to our private little group where I share pictures, share pictures, and I've also got them on social media, on my Facebook page, instagram and TikTok Take Flight With Monica.

00:06:45.095 --> 00:06:46.326
You can find me on there.

00:06:46.326 --> 00:06:55.718
So either go to any one of the social medias or takeflightwithmonicacom and I'll let you in to see all the beautiful pictures.

00:06:55.718 --> 00:06:57.644
Oh, they turned out so good.

00:06:57.644 --> 00:07:13.767
So I at first I got the promotional pictures in the lobby there in the old-fashioned furniture and the colors of my dress and everything in the greens and it just it really was beautiful.

00:07:13.767 --> 00:07:19.507
The lighting coming in from the skylights above it was just absolutely gorgeous.

00:07:20.175 --> 00:07:34.642
And then we walked down to the railroad market and you know, on the way there, unfortunately there was a lot of homeless people that was kind of sad to see.

00:07:34.642 --> 00:07:43.338
There was probably I would not advise walking by yourself in Albuquerque, new Mexico the guy that we were with.

00:07:43.338 --> 00:07:50.625
He was kind of a big guy, we felt safe, we felt protected, but we had a couple of homeless people that approached us on our walk.

00:07:50.625 --> 00:07:54.867
But just you know, as a safety note, just be careful when you're headed that way.

00:07:54.867 --> 00:07:56.375
But we got down to the market.

00:07:56.375 --> 00:08:02.725
It was popping all kinds of vendors and it's in this really neat old.

00:08:02.725 --> 00:08:09.314
It just looks like a dilapidated old building and like old warehouse or something.

00:08:09.314 --> 00:08:30.355
The windows are kind of knocked out partially and but it was really awesome, it was really neat to see and there were food truck vendors and craft vendors and there was probably, I would say, 40, 30 to 40 booths in there and so it was really fun.

00:08:30.557 --> 00:08:37.649
Oh my gosh, they had like horchata and they had the hatch chili peppers.

00:08:37.649 --> 00:08:40.499
That's what they're known for is the hatch chili peppers.

00:08:40.499 --> 00:08:47.307
Oh, it was so good the salsa, and mentally I spent thousands of dollars.

00:08:47.307 --> 00:08:57.056
I mean it was just the food was amazing there, the smells that were piped in, the unique clothing that was there beautiful.

00:08:57.056 --> 00:09:02.067
One lady had this booth that, oh my gosh, it was just absolutely gorgeous.

00:09:02.067 --> 00:09:20.296
She created a pattern on the denim jackets and part of it was like a see-through mesh and it had all these eclectic patches and stuff on it, like Native American looking, and it was really, really beautiful and it was just really fun to walk through there.

00:09:20.296 --> 00:09:23.961
The music and the sights and the smells and the sounds.

00:09:23.961 --> 00:09:31.856
I just I felt so much joy and just I felt really beautiful too.

00:09:31.897 --> 00:09:41.359
I was wearing this beautiful flowy blue, pink, purple, long sleeved, long dress that was really light and flowy.

00:09:41.359 --> 00:09:48.775
So when I walked it, it it moved and then I had my beautiful fly girl bag and it was great.

00:09:48.775 --> 00:10:00.090
We put our all of our stuff that we bought in it and I did some promotional pictures in there and that turned out to be one of my favorite shots was against the probably.

00:10:00.090 --> 00:10:18.534
The ceilings were around 40 to 50 feet high and I stood in front of it so you can see through parts of my dress, which just kind of made it fun and edgy, and it was just a beautiful the reflection of the stained glass on the concrete.

00:10:18.534 --> 00:10:22.746
It just made for a really beautiful image.

00:10:22.746 --> 00:10:25.863
I was really really pleased with it and holding my bag.

00:10:25.863 --> 00:10:31.724
So it was so much fun just walking around, walking around with the crew, but it was really hot.

00:10:31.724 --> 00:10:35.599
Woo, it was um, it was hot, hot, hot.

00:10:35.599 --> 00:10:38.504
But you know I'm used to it with hot Lana, right.

00:10:38.504 --> 00:10:40.269
So it was so much fun.

00:10:40.269 --> 00:10:40.635
We.

00:10:40.696 --> 00:10:53.788
We walked around there for probably oh, I don't know maybe a little bit over an hour, but they had all kinds of different, like juices, and they had a really creative.

00:10:53.788 --> 00:10:57.654
I took pictures of videos of this, which was really neat.

00:10:57.654 --> 00:11:01.066
They made like these specialty with a wheel.

00:11:01.066 --> 00:11:05.460
It's like a pottery wheel and they put all these sauces and a decorative design on it.

00:11:05.460 --> 00:11:06.967
It's like a like a pottery wheel and they put all these sauces and a decorative design on it.

00:11:06.967 --> 00:11:12.591
It was very colorful, beautiful, and then they crack two eggs on it and they make.

00:11:12.591 --> 00:11:17.667
It wasn't really an omelet, it's kind of like a cross between a crepe more like a crepe.

00:11:17.667 --> 00:11:19.379
It was very colorful.

00:11:19.379 --> 00:11:21.563
I wish the line wasn't so long.

00:11:21.563 --> 00:11:25.318
I definitely would have had one of those and it makes me hungry just thinking about it.

00:11:25.318 --> 00:11:26.681
But it smelled amazing.

00:11:26.681 --> 00:11:30.187
You could smell like the hatch chilies in it.

00:11:30.187 --> 00:11:42.678
Ah, it was so much fun and if you go to my Facebook page, take Flight with Monica, you can find it and you'll see I did like a cute little video.

00:11:42.678 --> 00:11:44.461
Or my Instagram page, you can find it.

00:11:44.461 --> 00:11:46.683
But yeah, it was so much fun.

00:11:46.764 --> 00:11:52.409
We walked around and then tasted some amazing fruit.

00:11:52.409 --> 00:12:01.149
Oh my goodness, there was like these little tiny miniature apples and they had so much flavor to them.

00:12:01.149 --> 00:12:02.437
I was in heaven.

00:12:02.437 --> 00:12:04.783
I was just walking around, tasting everything.

00:12:04.783 --> 00:12:12.267
Just the sights and smells and just I love like that Saturday market vibe, right, they we used to.

00:12:12.267 --> 00:12:19.095
Well, we still have them in Portland, oregon, and that's where I grew up, where I would go to the market and walk around.

00:12:19.095 --> 00:12:20.557
Just makes for a beautiful day.

00:12:21.178 --> 00:12:24.125
We caught an Uber back because we were so hot.

00:12:24.125 --> 00:12:27.081
It was hot, then it was time to go to the pool.

00:12:27.081 --> 00:12:42.267
So I got back to the hotel and said my goodbyes to everyone and everybody kind of went off and did their own thing and then I went out to the pool and it was just a really wonderful evening.

00:12:42.267 --> 00:13:01.139
It was so beautiful out there, just the sun, and it's in those moments that I'm so grateful and so thankful for life and how precious it is and how we get to make our own choices and design our life on purpose.

00:13:01.139 --> 00:13:06.395
And for my health, I've been working a lot on fitness and health lately.

00:13:06.395 --> 00:13:11.532
I highly, highly encourage you to work on your fitness and your health.

00:13:11.532 --> 00:13:19.033
Small actions go a long way and we'll talk a little bit more about that in a little bit.

00:13:19.092 --> 00:13:29.990
But just feeling the sun on my face, it was just really beautiful and just watching the children play in the pool and the laughter it was raising my vibration.

00:13:29.990 --> 00:13:45.815
You know, of just being in gratitude, just enjoying life, the breeze that would come up, and some of my friends were out there by the pool, fellow fly friends so it was just really a beautiful, beautiful time.

00:13:45.815 --> 00:13:58.052
I got some more promotional pictures with my bag out there, which was really beautiful, and just oh, some videos and some fun stuff promoting the Fly Girl bag.

00:13:58.052 --> 00:13:59.254
So it was just.

00:13:59.254 --> 00:14:07.738
It was just a state of bliss and gratitude, catching up with a few friends and working a little bit, relaxing a little bit.

00:14:07.738 --> 00:14:14.008
I tried to take a little sun nap, but that didn't work out very well, but it was just really a beautiful moment.

00:14:14.288 --> 00:14:15.852
I just was so reflective.

00:14:15.852 --> 00:14:31.461
You know, I think I mentioned recently that I had a friend pass away and I was just thinking about him and all the really fantastic times and experiences that we had together and the conversations and the joy.

00:14:31.461 --> 00:14:37.535
And you know, he died young, he was older than me but he was 66.

00:14:37.535 --> 00:14:54.956
And you know, we just sometimes we just think that we're just gonna live forever and then we never know when, when that last day is going to be and just really makes me affirm that we need to live life to the to the further.

00:14:54.956 --> 00:14:57.510
You know, do the things right, just do the things.

00:14:57.510 --> 00:15:05.254
And sometimes we don things and sometimes we don't feel like it, we don't feel like we want to get up, get dressed and get going.

00:15:05.254 --> 00:15:21.859
And so I encourage you to live those dreams, to have those life experiences.

00:15:21.859 --> 00:15:36.196
Travel, get out there, taste the different things, experience the smells it just like, puts us in a different state of mind instead of just our same old, same old routine that we always do.

00:15:36.196 --> 00:15:38.590
It's good to just shake it up a little bit.

00:15:38.590 --> 00:15:48.485
So I was just in so much gratitude out there by the pool, really really, really enjoyed it and loved it, loved it, loved it.

00:15:48.485 --> 00:16:13.633
So then back back to the room, worked on a little bit more of my social media presence and had fun with that, and then, oh my goodness, had to report the next day at 5.55 am, which was a bit of a challenge, but I felt energized in the morning, took a nice bath, a nice bubble bath and relaxed and again reflected.

00:16:13.692 --> 00:16:20.673
I'm in a lot of reflection lately, especially when you have someone close to you pass away.

00:16:20.673 --> 00:16:28.869
You really think about your life, you think about your dreams and your goals and the things that you want to do, and it motivates you even more.

00:16:28.869 --> 00:16:35.708
It just motivates you to get up out of that bed and to make even small little actions every single day.

00:16:35.708 --> 00:16:48.830
And I know I talk about Coach CJ a lot on this channel, but I'm going to talk about him again and you know he was really encouraging me to do actions every single day towards my dreams and goals, even when I'm working.

00:16:48.830 --> 00:17:12.989
So my goal is to lower my flying to two weeks and to up my businesses, up my side hustles, and teaching people how to live free, how to launch that Etsy store, how to create that brand, how to get out of their head, get out of their own way.

00:17:12.989 --> 00:17:14.354
And how do I know?

00:17:14.354 --> 00:17:16.169
Because I know firsthand.

00:17:16.169 --> 00:17:19.414
I know firsthand where you can get stuck.

00:17:19.414 --> 00:17:22.326
You can get stuck in self-worth, you can get stuck in a rut.

00:17:22.326 --> 00:17:25.153
You can get stuck, stuck, stuck.

00:17:25.153 --> 00:17:39.217
But I'm here to say a good coach whether you're working with Coach CJ or whether you're working with me a good coach holds your feet to the fire and keeps you moving forward even when you don't feel like it.

00:17:39.217 --> 00:17:43.997
Just little baby steps to move you in the right direction of your dreams.

00:17:45.006 --> 00:17:49.557
So I encourage you, friends, to get out there and live life to the fullest.

00:17:49.557 --> 00:17:51.270
Have those experiences.

00:17:51.270 --> 00:17:56.237
You don't have to be a flight attendant to get out and travel and see the world.

00:17:56.237 --> 00:17:57.631
It could be weekend getaways.

00:17:57.631 --> 00:17:58.055
It could be a hike.

00:17:58.055 --> 00:17:58.820
It could be weekend getaways.

00:17:58.820 --> 00:17:59.223
It could be a hike.

00:17:59.223 --> 00:18:01.713
It could be a bike ride.

00:18:01.713 --> 00:18:07.612
It could be just getting outside, taking your shoes off, feeling the earth beneath your feet.

00:18:07.612 --> 00:18:10.733
It is living life to the fullest.

00:18:10.733 --> 00:18:15.253
I encourage you to get out there and have those amazing experiences.

00:18:15.253 --> 00:18:20.424
And if you're looking for that coach to hold your feet to the fire, I'm available.

00:18:20.424 --> 00:18:28.279
I'm available for one-on-ones, I'm available in group coaching and also Coach CJ is as well.

00:18:28.279 --> 00:18:36.394
Whether you want to write that book, whether you want to create that product, whether you want to start that podcast, we are here for you.

00:18:36.394 --> 00:18:38.800
Much love, my friends.

00:18:38.800 --> 00:18:40.557
Live life to the fullest.
