Listener Story: My Night at the Villisca Ax Murder House

But for this episode we pulled the audio version of the story by our friend and Ghosty Fam Member and Patron, Heather. She visited the Villisca Ax Murder house in 2004 with her friends. We read a version of this in our Episode 14, but here it is in her own words.

The Activity Continues

This is our 22nd episode: “Listener Story: My Night at the Villisca Ax Murder House” It was recorded on April 9, 2022 (but produced June 26, 2022) and released on July 1, 2022.

The Activity Continues is a podcast where a couple of dorks (Amy & Megan) chat about the TV show, The Dead Files and other creepy shit. Each week we each choose an episode to dissect and chat about.

But for this episode we pulled the audio version of the story by our friend and Ghosty Fam Member and Patron, Heather. She visited the Villisca Ax Murder house in 2004 with her friends. We read a version of this in our Episode 14, but here it is in her own words.

A big thanks to Heather for sharing her story with us!

Note: there’s a part where you’ll hear some beeping. I wasn’t able to edit that out and didn’t want to remove what she was saying, as it was an important part, so I had to leave it in.

So grab your hankies, hop in the Cadillac, and join us when… The Activity Continues.

We’re just a couple of fans that love the show and want to build a community of like-minded people who would enjoy hanging out and discussing the episodes and similar content.

Content Warning:

This is a general content warning, many of the episodes of the TV show talk about murders, some even involving children. So that may come up in our conversation as well. So please proceed with that in mind. But if you already watch The Dead Files you’ll be prepared.

Also, while Amy and Steve's swears are bleeped on TV, ours are not.
