James Kennedy and Aly

Hello,
and welcome to the big shot podcast, season two. Can you believe it?

My name is Lisa Tait, and I'm an investigative journalist who has a special interest • • in reporting on sex trafficking, picking, sex abuse, and intimate partner violence. •

Plus, I also report on the fraud undertaken by Tom Girardi, who's the estranged husband of Erika Jayne. And I've got my friend here, Louise Wilkinson, and she's from how to hack your heartbreak. Can you believe Erika and Tom are not divorced yet?

Look, I really know. And I thought, know, if she was divorced, it'd be a great time to pick up a sugar daddy with her residency in Vegas.

I don't know what's going on there..

But I'm about to explain to Louise all about James Kennedy and Vanderpump rules and some information that has been bubling around for quite a while.

I found something from 2019, and I'm not saying any of these allegations are true, Louise, but • • I will do my best to give you the facts.

Okay, well, I'm excited to get into it because nobody investigates this stuff better than you. And so I know that I'm going to get the full gamut of everything that's happened here, and I'm excited to unpack it.

There are renewed allegations against James Kennedy about alleged abuse of his partners So, as I said before, if there's something that's conjecture, we will mention that, won't we?

Because Louise and I podcast together on the Real Housewives of Sydney.

James Kennedy and Aly

So, as I said before, if there's something that's conjecture, we will mention that, won't we? Because Louise and I podcast together on the Real Housewives of Sydney.

Speaker C: We do bless queen Terry. Speaker B: I tell you, I'd never had so many people sucking up to me in my life. And that cast, and I liked it. Kept sucking up, but it was very. I'm not used to it.

Speaker C: Look, it was just a bit weird, wasn't it? I mean, here we, like. We think we're pretty good. Speaker B: We're mum's in Newcastle.

Speaker C: We're mum's in Newcastle. And, there's these real housewives reaching out to us via Instagram. It was very surreal.

Speaker B: It was surreal. But anyway, it's my obligation as a journalist to report this fairly and accurately. And now we're going through the full analysis, and I'm going to refer to some screenshots that have come out in the past few days explaining how there are renewed allegations against James and alleged. Nothing has been proven yet, but alleged abuse of his partners. Speaker C: Right?

James Kennedy and Aly

Speaker B: So this is sensitive material, and you may want to stop listening now if it's something that triggers you. So I've been on this since last year. And there was allegedly this Vanity Fair article coming out that was going to be a reality reckoning. It was more like, I, don't know, a balloon after a 21st birthday party.

Speaker C: Like that. Speaker B: We all knew. We all knew this stuff, but there was talk around James. Never happened. So that could mean maybe there's no substance to what is being said about him. I don't know.

Speaker C: What do you think that personal opinion, because you take your facts very seriously. But do you think that where they smoke this fire, well, it's also Hollywood.

Speaker B: You can stomp on something and get rid of it.

Speaker C: That's also very true. Speaker B: And yes, and the subject of this podcast, Randall Emmett, he's been protected for quite a while. Allegedly.

Speaker C: Allegedly, yes. Speaker B: So there is this great. I found them first on Reddit. Okay, Louise. Now they're on Instagram as well, and they're the Vanderpod recaps. This person, they go around and summarise every single podcast that relates to vanderpumperals and more. And I've said to them, you are the hardest working person in podcast land. Bravo, podcast land. So thank you.

James Kennedy and Aly

There's a story that was brought up recently on YouTube that was deleted Because there's a story that was brought up recently on YouTube that was deleted. Now they're going into it a bit further, and it's about. Okay, so it's from the Teddy and Tamara podcast. And they were on everybody loves Tom. That's Tom Sandvoles, Scandalvoles podcast, and Vanderpod recaps is summarising it. Speaker A: Teddy. Speaker B: It was the MTV awards, apparently. 2022. Louise. We start to leave. Everyone's pulling out. We're like, okay, who do we go with? We have, like, the selling sunset little guys. We're not going with them. Schwartz. Why? This is going to upset you. Louise.

Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: Teddy said, no. If I'm taller than you, it's problematic. Speaker C: You're all right with that? Like the chick said, yeah, look, that is problematic for me. That would be like. It'd be a little person. Speaker B: How high are you in feet? Do you know? Speaker C: I'm five foot flat. Speaker B: Oh, that's not too bad. Speaker A: Yeah.

James Kennedy and Aly

Speaker C: But my daughters keep pointing out to me that, I will start shrinking shortly. And I think one of them looked up the other week how short I needed to be to get a, disabled parking pass. The very rude children. Speaker B: Is there such a thing that you can get it for being short?

Speaker C: Well, little people can get them, so apparently you have to be four foot ten. So I need to shrink another two inches to get good parking. They're terrible. Speaker B: Those girls aren't they dreadful? Dreadful. Dreadful. Okay. Sandoval says, oh, wow. Okay. Tamara says now she's from the real Housewives of Orange county. Oh, you're talking about Oppenheim. That's one of the people from sunset. Speaker C: Yeah.

Speaker B: And selling sunsets. Yeah. There's two brothers and they look exactly the same. I think they're twins and I think they're my height. Speaker C: Right? Speaker B: So Teddy says, so then, yeah. Apparently, though, seeing James Kennedy, we were like, yeah, come with us, we'll go. We decided we're going to go to whatever party you guys were at. Sandoval says, oh, yeah, we went to that after party. I think that's where, I met Chanel. West coast and Johnny Bananas. I know who Johnny Bananas is, but. Oh, Chanel. I know who Chanel is, too. They were on that villains show, right? Speaker B: Okay, so Teddy says, maybe it was at Tom Tom Sandovalt. Well, yeah, we went to Tom Tom.

Speaker C: Teddy. Speaker B: We went to Tom Tom Sandoval. Yeah, but there was an altercation, according to Teddy Sandoval. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: Wasn't there something like, something happened? I don't know. Like Tamara says, I don't think we need to talk about that.

Speaker C: Oh, don't. Speaker B: But Teddy does. Well, Tamara and I had to separate because we had to. Tamara. Now we had to jump out of the car. Speaker A: What? Speaker B: Yep. Speaker C: Teddy. Speaker B: Yeah, but you jumped out with one human, and then I jumped out with the other. And all I kept thinking was, if the paparazzi sees me walking down the street with this person, like, holding their arm, walking into Lisa Vanderpump's club, like, what's going to happen? Because Teddy is a sworn enemy of Lisa Vanderpump.

James Kennedy and Aly

Speaker C: Oh, okay. Speaker B: Many aspects here. But then I saw that person as the voice of reason the following season, and I was like, what's going on here? Okay, so it's a very vague story. And then there was a podcaster by the name of up, and Adam on YouTube. I'm sorry, he's a youtuber. and he was talking about all of this, but then he deleted it.

Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: And he explained why in a live. That's on YouTube and on his podcast, why Adam deleted his video. Adam did a video on Friday talking about the alleged allegations against James Kennedy Adam, I did a video on Friday talking about the alleged allegations against James Kennedy. James Kennedy from Vanderbump rules. As you guys know, we have been around the cast for a long time. He has. He used to work at Lisa van der Hump's restaurant with them.

Speaker C: Right. Speaker B: So sometimes you will see Adam. So he is an insider, right? Far more than someone like me who's a journalist, so there's benefits. And, I don't know, it can be a bit deficient sometimes. No shade on Adam. I suppose he's got friend relationships to look after. Speaker C: Sure.

Speaker B: Whereas I, within reason, can say whatever I want. I had somebody reach out to me and they wanted to know, hey, can you please let us address these things and not put it out there, just as a friend? And I was like, okay. So I ended up taking the video down. But a lot of people want to know what's going on with these allegations, because we've heard from Kristen Doutt, plus we've heard from Rachel Levis. And as I said, if you go to my Instagram account at Goodbye glam squad, you'll see in my stories, and in the highlight for James Kennedy, you will see someone saying similar things from 2019. Speaker C: Right, okay.

Speaker B: But everyone kind of thought it was okay because there was this, rhetoric or narrative that Kristen was crazy.

And, you know, crazy women, they just make it up, don't they, Louise? Speaker C: Of course they do. Nothing made them. No, no. Just all of a sudden buff. We're crazy. Speaker B: And they lie.

Speaker C: They do. And gaslight and manipulate. Speaker B: And in case, you're wondering about what we're saying, we're australian, so we talk kind of sarcastically. A lot of the. Speaker C: Yes. Yeah, that was heavy on the sarcasm. Tongue is firmly in the cheek.

Speaker B: Exactly. So Adam says. But a lot of people want to know what's going on with the allegations, because we've heard from Kristen and Rachel. Now we've heard a tonne of stuff. Well, two t's in a pod went on, and that's how this all came to light, because they went and said that they were leaving the MTV movie awards.

Speaker A: Right. Speaker B: So that's similar to what I read earlier. Speaker A: Yep. Speaker B: Now, Adam says, I've known about these things, a lot of the allegations, because there was supposed to be this big article that was coming out in Vanity Fair in August, and Jason refers to part of their YouTube called on hot and messy. We said there's a huge variety. there's a huge vanity fair article. A few of them coming out.

Speaker C: Never did. Right. Speaker A: Okay.

Speaker B: So Adam says, we knew of a few people who were working on the article. That's why they were shocked when it didn't come out. There was supposed to be more parts, allegedly, from what we'd heard. Like I was telling you before, Louise.

Speaker C: Okay, plot's thickening. Speaker B: Yes, it definitely is. So what we've got here with Tamara and Teddy is a first hand account. I don't know if it's James yet, but someone, Adam's saying it is, and someone is going to talk later this week. My guess now, this is when I'm just making predictions, which may be right, may be wrong. I think Rachel has been on her podcast going rogue. It's called.

Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: And she has been hinting about something that happened in that arena right to her when she was with James. I think it'll be her because I think her podcast comes out later in the week, but I'm not sure. But the way Adam got that message there that this person wanted to tell the story. Who is that? Speaker C: Right, so you think you're putting two and two together and surmising it could be Rachel about to drop the bomb?

James Kennedy and Aly

Speaker B: Yep. Speaker C: Okay. Speaker B: And also, a few years back, Stacey said that she was disgusted to work with some of the guys on Vanderpump. She just totally thought they were terrible humans, and she felt very compromised by it.

Speaker C: Yeah, it's very interesting isn't mean. You know, as I said to you before, I asked you the question You know, as I said to you before, I asked you the question, where there's smoke, there's fire, and you've got all these clues and all these Easter eggs through a, fairly significant time frame from 2019. And when it comes out, what I find amazing is you often find out when something like that is uncovered. So we've had Cosby and we've had, Epstein and the lengths to which people go to keep it covered up that you find out after the whistle's been blown.

Speaker B: Absolutely. And I saw something where James was talking to Raquel, and they were talking about her nose job, which he allegedly kissed a bit too hard. He came in for a kiss and damaged it, apparently. Speaker C: Yes. Speaker B: Well, that's what he was saying. He used his bad behaviour, like his verbal abuse. He said that's because he was british. Like, come on. Speaker A: What? Speaker C: Which part of England it is significant? I'll tell you in a minute. Speaker B: Oh, your mum English? Speaker C: My mum and my dad. And listen, they're northern English right now. Tough as nails in northern England. No, Newcastle. Newcastle upon time. And I tell you what, they're tough as nails. So it's like our sister city. We're in Newcastle, Australia, and coal mining, blah, blah, blah. And the stories that they've got, because they had the steelworks, they were a target for the Germans in World War II. So every night, my poor grandmother had to get the two toddlers out of bed when the sirens went off and go down to the bomb shelter almost every night. So they're just tough and honestly, they have no chill. My dad has no chill and my mum had no chill and her accent's adorable, but I'd walk in and she'd go, oh, you're looking a bit tubby, love. I'm not going to give you any bickies today. Speaker B: You've been like, I don't know, a size six as long as I've known, just. That's so funny. Yeah, well, James, I don't think he's from Newcastle. I think he's from London. Speaker C: Well, then he's got no excuse because they're a little bit more refined than the Jordy's. Speaker B: Unless, of course, he thinks he's, like, living in Oliver Twist and is at the old east End of London. Speaker C: Oh, right. So he could be like, please. Speaker A: Sure. Speaker C: I want you more, but I. Speaker B: Just think that's a terrible thing to say about english people, that they go around being verbally abusive and accidentally hit noses. Speaker C: Yeah, look, I can't say that I've ever had my nose hit, but certainly had some very inappropriate things said, to me. Speaker B: Well, yeah, exactly. I think he's trying to get at it, that the humour is subtle. Do you know what I mean? Speaker C: But it's dark, too. It's very dark, dark humour. I mean, look, to give you an example, my uncle, I'd had major brain surgery. I was on machines that go, bleep. And I had big black eyes and lots of drugs and they'd finished visiting me and my uncle stood up and said, oh, don't get up, Louise. We'll see ourselves out. Speaker B: Oh, my goodness. And he's also from northern England. Yeah, see, that's something Lisa Vanderpump would just. Speaker C: I don't know, I'm twisted. I just find that hilarious. But anyway, listen, if you're english and you're listening to this, it doesn't give you an excuse to verbally abuse people. Those were just funny little anecdotes. And yes, I'm in therapy and I'm. Speaker A: M dealing with it. Speaker B: What I have done, Louise, because people always come at me over the James episodes. The James Kennedy allegations are likely to come out soon, says Andy Oh, by the way, there are two episodes on James on the podcast from, last year, okay? And one of them is called, we need to talk about James Kennedy. So this is probably. We need to talk about James Kennedy part three. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker B: So the first time I thought he was really problematic was when he spat on Kristen's door. Speaker C: Oh, okay. That's not cool. That's not british humour. no. Speaker B: And he called her the s word and told her she'd never have children and she'd be married and then divorced within three years. Speaker C: Sounds like a charmer. Speaker B: Yeah. Speaker A: Hm. Speaker B: But this is what Jax Taylor said. And a lot of people are like, jax lies. He's full of shit. But I found the tweet. I have the tweet. Jax is talking about James and he says, on Twitter, I'm not petty, but he hits girls, as you saw. So if my girl is going, you better bet your ass I'm going to be around. Speaker C: Well, that's a pretty open and shut statement right there, isn't it? Speaker B: Yes. 2017. Speaker A: Okay. Speaker B: So last year there's a content creator by the name of your mums are watching and she aired some of Kristen's allegations. And Kristen jumped in and said, I confirmed what you're saying was true. So this is what the content creator said. I'm telling you guys, the James stuff is going to come out. Maybe that's even the bombshell that Raquel tells Andy. James hit her when he bumped her nose, you see? Speaker C: Right. Speaker B: That's very specific. It's not my opinion. All I know is Kristen stayed at my friend's house one night because James hit her. She was hiding from him. True story. I think when Kristen refers to it will all come out about James. That is what she's referring to. And I found a quote which is so true. And it makes me think of Kristen. To not have your suffering recognised is almost unbearable form of violence. And that is from Andre Lankov. Kristen hasn't had hers acknowledged because you all run around saying she's crazy and she hit him at the wedding. Sheena's weding the first wedding. Speaker C: Right? Speaker B: So there's a thing called reactive abuse, which I cover in my previous podcasts as well, so have a listen to those as well. But I wonder. I, think it's going to be. Rachel's going to come out with something. Speaker C: Jeez. Speaker A: Ah. Speaker C: Are you going to sleep between now and the end of the week? Waiting for this? Speaker B: I don't know. What about you? Speaker C: Maybe not. Speaker B: See, I've got a picture of James spitting at the, like. Speaker C: Looks like a fish. Speaker B: So I was called last night for, putting this up that I was stupid and I was trying to make money out of. Speaker C: Make. We all make a fortune out of podcasting. Speaker B: It's so lucrative rolling in cash because Raquel has been talking around it but not specifying it, but she has acknowledged in the past what happened to Kristen, what Kristen said happened to her. So we shall see. Four in ten Australians think sexual assault accusations are a way to get back at men But we do need to talk about James. And get this, I found some stats. Louise. Okay, now, this is a study. November 30, from, the conversation. So, November 30, 2018. Did you know four in ten australians think sexual assault accusations are a way at getting back at men? Speaker C: That doesn't surprise me at all. Speaker B: Disgusting. Speaker C: Awful. Speaker B: Almost the same proportion. 43% of women believe women make up claims of abuse when going through child custody battles in court. If you think that, stop listening. Get off here, because that's disgusting. Yeah, that's the kind of stuff. And I'm not even involved in it, but that's what I'm getting for posting things on Instagram. Speaker C: I just don't. I don't understand it. I'd be interested to know from the listeners, because obviously you have listeners from all over the world whether this is an australian thing. It really is in our country, it's like someone will bring something up. And we had a case with a girl that she bought against a famous footballer. And the backlash that she got for daring to say that this footballer had assaulted her, and she had images of actual bite marks on the insides of her thigh. Jesus, it was awful. And I actually was, speaking to someone who was on the legal team who had actually seen these photos and said it was horrific, but the majority of Australians didn't actually believe her. Speaker B: That's the patriarchy. And so there was someone having a go at what I said, and Kristen jumped in on the conversation, so you'll find that on my instagram as well. She said that the way this person was separating the issues, it's just, don't insult me, basically. And this person is getting so close to being blocked because people cherry pick it. and I don't mind to have a debate or whatever, but when it's upsetting a person who says they're a victim now. Okay, so violence against women is common with two of every five australian women experiencing some form of physical or sexual violence since the age of 15 would believe it. Speaker C: And then that's not even taking into account the emotional violence, like, the emotional abuse that can come from that as well. Speaker B: So this is what happens then. I've got some statistics here from the Australian Bureau of Statistics. Only 39% of people aged 18 and over who experienced sexual assault had their most recent incident reported to police. but physical assault is at 54% of reports. Speaker C: Go figure. Speaker B: But we're all liars. Speaker C: All liars, all gaslighters, all manipulative, all doing it for a buck. Speaker A: Ah, yeah. Speaker B: And I'm just wrong. And look, I don't care what you think of me, but if Kristen's on my page and you're being offensive, you're going to be blocked. Speaker A: Yeah. Speaker C: Control, alt, delete. Lisa. Some of the greatest advocates of defending abusers are actually getting abused Speaker B: Well, I think there are some women who hate other women. That's pretty obvious, don't you think? Speaker C: Yeah. Or as we discussed, I do a lot of work around breakups and that sort of thing in my line of work, with how to hack heartbreak. And you often find that some of the greatest advocates of defending abusers are, because these women are actually getting abused, and they're too embarrassed or ashamed to actually face up to the reality that their partner, that they are, trauma bonded to and love so much, actually falls into that category. So they defend it. Speaker B: I didn't know. Speaker C: Yeah. What? Speaker B: That's just changed my whole perspective. Speaker C: Yeah. So it could be one or the other. It could be stick your head in the sand and stir up controversy, but it could also be that you are rubbing a, wound that that particular user doesn't want rubbed, and it's too confronting for them on a personal level. Speaker B: Okay, well, I'll be looking that up and getting some studies through on there, because this is what I think all along while I've been doing this. Emotion isn't enough to change people's opinions. They need facts. Speaker C: They do. Speaker B: Well, the smart. So. Yes. So, look, that's what I've got today. Thank you for joining me, Louise. Speaker C: Absolutely. A pleasure always, Liz. Speaker B: Now you can find me at goodbye glam squad on Instagram. I have, obviously, a Jeffrey Epstein podcast, the prince and the pervert escaping Bangkok about escaping a jail. And I also have our Sydney podcast, Real Housewives of Snark, and I think that's it. I've got many podcasts, don't I? You do. Speaker C: You're a podcast queen. Speaker B: But we've got an Erica Jane one. But Jen and I haven't really been on that since Tom was arrested. Speaker C: Look, fair enough. I don't think we need to give it oxygen, do we? We've got something big coming up, Louise involves vegetables Mean, you might come back to it, but, like, we've dropped the bombshell. Speaker B: We've got something big coming up, Louise involves vegetables. One specific vegetable. Speaker C: Okay. Yes. I'm, picking up what you're putting down. Speaker B: Yeah, I think people who listen to my podcast know what I'm talking about. Speaker C: Yes, I'm excited for that. How's it coming along? Speaker B: It's mushrooming. Speaker C: Is it? Speaker B: It's getting bigger. Speaker C: Sprouting. Speaker B: Sprouting. I've been foraging. Speaker C: Foraging. Speaker B: Okay, well, that's fabulous. So thank you so much for your time. If you'd like to buy Louise or myself a coffee, you can do so. It's in the show notes. For those people who think I'm running a multi millionaire podcast business, we really need just the coffee funded, don't we? Speaker C: Absolutely. We can't function without it. So please? Speaker B: Yeah, that'd be great. And look, there may be more on Saturday or there Friday. Speaker C: Can't wait. Let's see how the week unfolds, shall we? Speaker B: People need to behave themselves. Speaker C: They really do. Speaker B: Okay, so thank you so much and goodbye.
