Give me MORE Lala!

I am 20 years older than Lala but from the moment I saw her on VPR, I loved her and identified with her. Through her messiest moments to today, I have been a fan (and she is visually stunning to look which is a bonus). Lala, I wanted to shake you during the years with the person who’s name will not be spoken but I didn’t lose faith that you would wake up. Lala says the things I WISH I had the courage to say when I was her age. I have always told my daughters never to disregard their primal instincts in any situation (which I regretfully did a lot in my youth). Lala brings that vibe in spades and is unapologetic about it which is why I love her so much. If only I had her ability to formulate witty comebacks on the fly! Mine come to me on a delay for some reason but I am working on channeling my inner Lala. Finding inspiration in this young woman has been a fun ride.
