Season 4: Conversation with Mental Health Therapist: Belinda Gordon-Battle and Rashard Pearson

Belinda Gordon-Battle is a licensed clinical therapist and life consultant based in Miami while providing therapeutic services across the globe. Through her mental health counseling practice, she provides a safe space for individuals (children and adults), families, couples and organizations to receive counseling and support services that address mental health and mental wellness. BGB, as her clients and colleagues call her, is an advocate of “removing the stigma” and normalizing the therapeutic process. She incorporates cultural relevance and non-traditional interventions and strategies to strengthen her clients’ steps towards goals of behavioral, emotional, social and mental wellness.

Rashard Pearson is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provide and a native of Emporia, VA. Rashard has been working within the mental health field since 2012 in various settings including mental health facilities, therapeutic day treatment schools, in home services, and outpatient. Rashard’s passions include healing, growth, and developing appropriate mental and behavioral responses to life stressors and daily life challenges that are faced by our youth. Rashard is currently a mental health therapist at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters where he will be working with youth within their new mental health facility.
