The weather outside may be frightful but the upcoming podcast episodes are really delightful.
To finish off my series on the New Testament, I had the pleasure of interviewing Michael Jones of the Inspiring Philosophy podcast. Michael is a Christian Apologist - no he doesn't apologize for being a Christian. Apologists come from the Greek word Apologia - to defend - and apologists are defenders of the faith.
I like his fact based approach to his work and so I asked Michael the question Does The Bible Promote Slavery? I will have this published by the end of January after I finish Part 1 and Part 2 of my look at the life of the Apostle Paul.
This should wrap up my series on the New Testament.
I am also working on a few potential guests for the show. I don't know if all of them will come to fruition but here are three people I am talking to about being interviewed.
The first is an academic who has studied the electrical system requirements for countries to actually be able to support all the electric vehicles that our various governments are pushing. Will our world be able to actually support these vehicles is the question we will delve into if this comes together.
The next possible guest is a gentleman who has some interesting ideas about who exactly the Freemasons are. He is a 33 degree Mason (I have no idea what that is) and he has some thoughts he wants to share about where he believes the Freemasons originated.
And, last but certainly not least, I am looking into a gentleman who has ideas for a project that will greatly reduce crime in the western world. Now, that's a tall order, so I am really looking forward to seeing what he is promoting to solve our crime problems.
Another idea I'm just in the early stages of considering is doing a series on the WW II tank battle of El Alamein in northern Africa between British and New Zealand forces against German and Italian forces. I'm just doing some reading up on it to see if there is enough interesting material to make it worth investigation.
If ever you have any ideas for episodes, please contact me at thefactofthematter@hotmail.com. One of our most fascinating series on Erszebet Bathory, the female dracula, was suggested by a listener so drop me a line!
So that's whats coming down the chute in the next couple months. Until then, stay warm!
