Seems really strange... but it's true.
God wasn't always satisfied with His own work. In the Genesis account, He takes a good look at all He made...and when he got to making Adam, he decided things weren't up to par.
To every believing creative, that should give you a lot of freedom and comfort - if the God of the universe can be willing to evaluate His work, then you can be OK with having high standards for your own work and sometimes deciding you aren't satisfied - even if others are.
