The Boston Celtics swept the Indiana Pacers Monday night to earn a trip to the NBA Finals for the 23rd time in franchise history! This was a series that showed me a lot even though it was a 4 game sweep. The next question is, who will the Celtics face in the NBA Finals & what will that matchup look like?
Also Bill Walton passed away Monday, from a long battle with cancer, at the age of 71. He lived a crazy life from his hippie lifestyle to playing basketball at UCLA, Portland & then making his way over to Boston to be apart of the 1986 Boston Celtics.
The Red Sox sit 8.5 games out of 1st place in the AL East but only 2.5 games from the final Wild Card spot. My fear is that this is where the Red Sox will be throughout the entirety of the season making little changes here & there but ultimately finishing just out of the WC spot. We may be seeing the fall sooner than I anticipated with the pitching staff.
