She went to law school, but really leaned into classes that were about tech in the law, privacy in the law,

- You need to not only invest in the knowledge of your company, but you need to invest in understanding how to translate that into VC.
- You do not want a yes from the wrong person! Every time you get a NO, think of that as a gift.
- Go at it the Nike way - Just Do It! The best advice is not to take any advice. Be informed, but do not be obsessed with anyone's pathway.

Sofiat Abdulrazaaq, JD, is co-founder and CEO of Goodfynd, a payments platform and marketplace that harnesses the power of aggregation to boost the accessibility and discoverability of mobile food businesses. Sofiat brings a decade of experience translating business goals into developed products in her current role. Prior to helping establish Goodfynd, she served as a product lead at The College Board, responsible for strategic and technical product management.
Sofiat holds a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law, a Masters in Global Affairs from the University of Denver, and Bachelors in both
Psychology and Political Science from Virginia Tech.
