"Sacrifice is a really big part of my ability to be able to juggle both kind of careers." - MaBinti Yillah
MaBinti was a driven young woman, eager to make something of herself, inspired by strong female characters from fiction and her own parents' example and she pursued multiple careers, from government consulting to running a production company. When she heard about the opportunity to improve access to mental health in the Muslim community, she jumped on it, despite the fear of the unknown. She put in countless hours of hard work, even going from work to school to shoot a documentary and back, and her efforts paid off.
