I really enjoy your podcast. I tend to listen to mostly true crime pods which can be traumatic and sad while also so very interesting, to me.
My 21 year old son died on April 21st of 2017. He was away at college in Pittsburgh, 4 hours away from home. He fell while on his friends roof, celebrating his last final exams of his junior year. He was smart and headed for med school.
I’ve had some health issues since then, both physical and mental/emotional, due to the stress and grief.
I belong to a few different local grief groups and some of my closest friends are now other grieving mothers who all understand each other.
Your podcast is a breath of fresh air. Your genuine care and kindness for the guests you have on, despite your own challenges and grief, speaks volumes. Keep up the good work!
(I am not ready to listen to your episode about losing your dog, but hoping to at some point :)
