Kara Goodwin: Welcome to the Meditation Conversation, the podcast to support your spiritual revolution. I'm your host, Cara Goodwin, and holy moly, I just wrapped up my interview with Vinnie Tolman and I am super excited for you to dive into this episode and hear his incredible story.

He brings heaven to us as he recounts his experience with death. You'll be flooded with high vibrations as you become absorbed in his presence and story. And he has so much more to share, even though we cover a lot of ground in this episode. So be on the lookout for our followup interview, which is soon to come.

Vinnie Tolman is the author of The Light After Death, a powerful memoir recounting his near death experience and the profound spiritual insights that followed. After being pronounced dead for over. 30 minutes, way over 30 minutes, Vinny [00:01:00] experienced an extraordinary journey beyond the physical realm, encountering a realm of light, love, and understanding that transformed his outlook on life, death, and the human spirit. Vinny now dedicates his life to sharing the lessons he learned during his NDE and helping others embrace their spiritual potential and find meaning in their own lives. As a speaker, teacher and guide, he inspires people worldwide to explore their inner light, release fear, and connect more deeply with their purpose.

His story is a testament to the power of faith, the resilience of the human spirit, and the boundless nature of love.

And speaking of love, I want to let you know about Love Tuner. I had Love Tuner's founder Sigmar Berg on a recent episode where we talked about the magic of sound frequencies, specifically the love frequency of 528.

Love Tuner gives you simple and immediate access to this frequency throughout your day. There's so many [00:02:00] benefits from utilizing the power of the breath to being in the sound itself to just taking a couple of minutes pause. I've personally loved using it for infusing the frequency into different rooms and spaces. Use my link in the notes and Kara for 10 percent off. That's K A R A for 10 percent off Love Tuner.

And now enjoy this amazing episode.

Well, welcome Vinnie. I can't tell you how excited I am that you're here today. Thanks so much for being here.

Vinney Tolman: Well, I'm excited to be here. I'm excited to, to have these enlightening conversations.

Kara Goodwin: Well, I actually had a listener who recommended you who had seen one of your interviews and I was just blown away. He, he forwarded something onto me and I was like, Oh my gosh, I felt so, I almost felt high, um, watching it. It was just this so, so elevating to hear your story and not just your story, [00:03:00] but the wisdom.

And like, even once you. Talked about your near death experience and you were just kind of talking about how you understand what the world is going through right now and what's coming. I was just like, I felt like I was floating or in a different dimension or something. But, um, so I'm really, really so excited to have this conversation. Um,

Vinney Tolman: it's good to be here. I'm, I love having these conversations.

Kara Goodwin: Yes, me too. So you are a near death experiencer and it's fascinating what you experienced on the other side. Can you please talk us through your NDE and what you remember most vividly?

Vinney Tolman: Um, yeah, absolutely. Um, I, I could talk for, for hours and hours on the experience itself. Um, how much time do we want to, a lot? For my experience today.

Kara Goodwin: Really just feel free to be in the flow and whatever kind of feels [00:04:00] like, you know, it wants to float up. Absolutely.

Vinney Tolman: Okay. Uh, so we'll roll into like a seven hour interview.

Kara Goodwin: Well, you gotta leave something for them

Vinney Tolman: Oh, okay. We'll, we'll put some there.

Kara Goodwin: book is incredible. So, um, you can't tell everything.

Vinney Tolman: Okay. Okay. Well, um, my experience, it starts back in 2003. So a few years ago, um, at the time I was a 25 year old, A kid that I was doing bodybuilding, I was building homes and at the same time I was also working in the TV and film industry. And, um, I, I kind of thought I had all the answers figured out and I had life figured out.

I felt like I was at the top of my game, per se. And uh, that's when I took a supplement that. Me and my best friend had purchased online, and this supplement [00:05:00] just so happened to be 20 times stronger than the American version. We had ordered it from overseas, and when we both took it, we felt instantly ill.

So we knew we needed to get some food in our body. We drove down to the local Dairy Queen, which is only, like, a few blocks away from his place. And we made it in there. I went into the bathroom and locked the door, because it was a single use bathroom. And right there, I passed out and started to vomit while I was laying on my back.

And that caused me to die. Caused me to suffocate. Caused my body to die. And meanwhile, my buddy, he went in and collapsed on the first booth as soon as you walk in the restaurant. And he also began to exit his stomach or, or evacuate his stomach on the table. And a manager in the restaurant saw that he called emergency services.

They hauled him [00:06:00] away and it was a good 45, almost 50 minutes before the manager, uh, was prompted by a customer to open the bathroom because the customer had been trying to use that bathroom for like almost an hour and it had been locked the whole time. So the manager did open the bathroom to find my dead body on the ground.

They knew it was dead. It wasn't moving. No movement whatsoever. It was cold to the touch. They still called 911, emergency services. And a team of medics came on scene from that call. It was a team of three men. Uh, two older men, um, I say older, but they were younger than I am now, they, they were in their, uh, one guy was in his thirties, the other guy was in his forties, but they, they portrayed an energy of veteran, like they knew [00:07:00] what to expect in the industry of taking care of people and being a first responder.

But there was also a rookie, he was in his early twenties, just like I was at the time. And he was just getting off of his orientation and testing and he was doing ride alongs as an assistant to these other medics. Well, he's the, he's the one, along with God, that I credit to allowing me to have this whole experience.

Um, because it was him who, they did come on scene and pronounce the body dead. They put it in a body bag, they put it in the back of the ambulance. It was him. And, uh, this rookie, his job was to essentially babysit the dead body while these two veteran medics went around and interviewed, um, witnesses and got statements signed by the witnesses.

Um, after about [00:08:00] 30 to 40 minutes of getting statements and, and all of that, they pulled away from this scene, but the entire time, this rookie was just sitting there thinking, like why aren't we trying harder? Why aren't we doing something different for this one? And um, to my credit, God kept delivering a message to this medic that this one's not dead.

And after the medic received that message a couple times, he acted on it. And he went ahead and hooked up a defib machine onto onto the body. And the body didn't have any response from the first shock. But on the second shock, there was a single heartbeat. And on the third shock, the heart started and was was beating on its own.

And that's where it starts for me. He

Kara Goodwin: right? Well, what I find so fascinating, there are so many things having read a light, the light [00:09:00] after death, um, about your Indy and your life afterwards, you're even that story with the rookie EMT. Like, there is so much to it, because he, he not only like, I mean, he went out on a limb do that.

Like, they were basically telling him he was gonna get fired if he did that because he needed to leave you alone. So.

Vinney Tolman: broke protocol and you can you can be fired for breaking protocol. So he was taking that chance even on his first week off of training and licensing. Here he was and he broke protocol. Yeah.

Kara Goodwin: two veteran. I mean that I mean I just find that really profound and I Also note that you keep saying the body the body and

Vinney Tolman: Yeah.

Kara Goodwin: that is profound I mean that because if we're telling a story about something that we went through would usually say and then I And then I, and then I. So, so that's leading us into what was [00:10:00] happening with your consciousness while all this was going on.

Vinney Tolman: Yeah. And, and what the, the best way to explain that is, you know, after you've gone through an experience like this, you realize that your body is not you. And at that point it does become the body and not my body anymore. And, uh, it's, it's kind of like if you pulled up, I, I like to give this example. If you pulled up to a car that looks just like your car.

And you look inside, and there's someone driving that car that looks just like you. It's still not you. You're thinking it's that car, not my car. Even though it looks like my car, that's that car. Um, and that's what it was like for me. I was looking down. I was witnessing all of this from above, I even witnessed them bag up the body, I witnessed them take away my buddy into the ambulance, the other ambulance.

So I was witnessing everything, but it didn't seem like me, because me was up [00:11:00] here witnessing everything. And with my background in TV and film, I kept, I kept critiquing, like why someone would film this stuff. entertainment from above, and it was such a silly thing to think, but my mind was going there, and I think it was going there for a purpose.

So it was preoccupied with my question of, why would the director shoot the film from this direction? So then I was distracted enough to let the body, you know, get taken away in the ambulance. and get it, uh, even, you know, bagged and taken away and then resuscitated out of the body bag.

Kara Goodwin: Wow. It's phenomenal. So, so what was your witness, you know, what was happening on that side? Wow.

Vinney Tolman: on, on my side of things, I still didn't know I was watching my body. I was watching the [00:12:00] body, truly the body, not my body. And as I was watching them take this body, uh, to a morgue, they were going to take it to a medical examiner. Well, on their way, this rookie breaks protocol, he resuscitates the body.

And, uh, and one of the greatest blessings of all this, a little miracle in itself, is where the first heartbeat happened was one block away from a hospital. And then when the steady heartbeat started, they were almost in front of a hospital. So they were able to turn immediately into this trauma center, and turn the body over to a team, a big team, where they were going to start working on it.

At first it was just a team of two people that were taking in the body, but within seconds there was more, you know, two more, three more, until there was a whole team working on the body. [00:13:00] And as they transferred the body off of the, the gurney with the medics, and they were putting the body on a hospital gurney, on a hospital bed, an ICU bed essentially.

As that was happening, the body itself started to go into seizures. And it started to vomit more, um, contents out of the stomach. So the, the professionals that they were, they needed to work on this body. They knew, they knew they needed to secure it and stabilize it. So they strapped the body down. And I watched them strap the legs.

I watched them strap the right arm, but when they got to the left arm, I was left handed and I was a An aspiring bodybuilder, but I was very strong I've always been very strong my whole life and as they went to strap the left arm I watched the body fight and and restrict and push and pull away from them [00:14:00] Trying to put the strap on even to the point where the that left arm actually broke the strap They were trying to use And that's when I looked down at my left arm, where I was sitting, watching all of this.

And, and what I was seeing was the left arm of the body. I was like, looking at the left arm of the body, just for a second. But that was enough to have this very, like, gravitas moment. This very heavy moment, where I had to sit there and try to process, like, What was I watching? This was not entertainment. I was Interacting with this whatever it was and not just interacting This must be my body and when that that dawning came upon me.

I felt such an idiot I felt so foolish. How could I have been watching for more than an hour? How could I have [00:15:00] been watching my own death the processing of my own body and I had no idea? From the time that they found the, the body and they pronounced dead on arrival to the time they started the heart was 47 minutes.

So for documented 47 minutes of death, and, and likely close to an hour before that, before they even were, you know, found the body. I'm sitting here watching all this and I had no idea. No idea whatsoever. And, and as that was dawning on me, I started to feel just, That I was so foolish. And then I started to see every bad thing that I ever did.

Even as a small child, I saw dishonesty. I saw fights. I got lots of fights growing up. Um, my dad was, was, Uh, pretty abusive, so [00:16:00] I, I would settle my scores with my dad outside the home with bullies or anybody else that kind of was in the wrong place at the wrong time. And so there was a lot of dark energy around my mistakes, my failures, and the bad things that I did.

And as I got to the end of that, I had this thought, if this is all I am, why do I even exist? And the second I had that thought, this warmth started to, to blend and, and come over my whole body. And as that warmth came over me, I started to see every good thing I ever did. Every good thing. And, and there was, it's, it's like the good part of my movie was way longer than the bad part.

The bad part was more of like the trailer. And the whole movie was a lot of good things. Even when I didn't know I was doing good, I was doing good. A lot of times when as [00:17:00] a young boy. Even under the severe abuse that I was experiencing, I would follow my intuition to try to help people. And I was able to do stuff that I had no idea what I was doing as I did it.

So I got to, I got to, you know, see all these good things that I did. And as that was wrapping up and getting towards the, the current date of that, that date of dying. I, I noticed that that warmth, all this warmth was coming from behind me, so I turned around. I wanted to see who or what was there, and I saw what I thought was God.

I really did. I, I saw this, this old man, but, but with perfectly perfect skin, not wrinkly at all, but he had long white hair, and he had a long white beard, and his eyes, it, it's so hard to explain, but his [00:18:00] eyes, they felt like they were reaching out. And they were holding your, your face, kind of like when you love someone, like, like your child or your, or your spouse, you put your hands on their, their chins and you pull them up close and you just stare at each other.

That's what it felt like with him just looking at me. And light was, was coming from him. Every hair on his head had light coming from it. His skin had light coming from it and all of this light was, was screaming an energy of, I love you, but unconditionally loving me, not, you know, with the conditions of, of, um, you know, strings attached.

It was truly an unconditional love. And as I was witnessing this, amazing force. I, I had that thought, Oh, you're God. And he smiled and without using his mouth, he answered my question [00:19:00] and he said, no, son, I'm not gone. And my follow up was, well, if you're not God is, are you Jesus? Like I was trying to figure out what this was.

And, uh, he said, no, I'm not Jesus. He says, I'm your guide. I'm here to help you go wherever you want to go. I can help you. Um, go back to your body if you like, or I can help you go anywhere in the universe. And that's when my, my, um, my excitement started to just rile up inside me. Um, I did look back at my body.

I saw that there was a guy sitting on top of the body, like holding the shoulders down while they were trying to put some Some apparatuses on the body, and I could see that that was hell. To me, that looked like hell. So to me, I, I didn't want that. [00:20:00] I wanted to go with this man, which he called himself Drake.

He says, you can call me Drake. My friends call me Drake. And I said, okay, let's go, Drake. Let's, let's go to where, uh, this love is coming from. This love that you're giving to me. I know it's not just coming from you, it's coming through you. I want to go there, wherever that place is. And he explained it was my home, and it was his home as well.

So, we could go to our home and, and go see Where I came from where my soul came from and we began this journey. It was a An extensive journey, you know again being raised Christian as a kid I thought I had everything I needed to just get into heaven So, I, I, uh, very egotistically told Drake that, I said, Oh, don't worry, just show me where to get in.

I can get in. I know [00:21:00] I can. And he, he, he loved that. He, like, giggled with that, and he laughed with that. But he, he put his arm around me and, and said, Uh, Vinny, I, I love that you think that's how it is, but there's quite a bit more we've got to learn. And he said, we, like, inclusively. As if he was on this journey with me, not leading me, but at my side.

So I, I said, okay, let's, let's still do it. Let's do this. So we began this journey of, of moving from the earthly realm, the earth, what I call earth school. Into this much higher place and this higher place. It's it's it's here where we are right now But it's also in a much higher dimension So you feel like you're moving through distant spaces as you're getting to that realm So it does feel like you're traveling through space.

But yet really what you're doing is traveling through [00:22:00] dimensions And that we live here in Earth School in a 5D dimension. And there's many dimensions above that. Many, many. There's three dimensions below us and countless dimensions above us. And I was climbing those dimensions above us. And as I was going through that, I knew love has got to be it.

Love is key. And I was like, I know, Drake. Love is it. I just got to learn how to love better and I can go with you. And, and again he smiled and he, he was like, Benny, love is wonderful, love is beautiful, but until we know who we really are, we cannot actually give love to anyone, and we can't actually receive love from anyone.

And he, he explained to me that authenticity is the most important principle [00:23:00] that we are going to learn in Earth School. Because if we can't learn authenticity, We're not, it's like not gauging or, or picking up anything else that we're learning. So authenticity is the foundation of what, what we are able to start growing from and learning from here on, on earth school.

So he taught me about that. He, he showed me, he showed me, Vinnie, there's a version of you that goes to work on the construction sites. There's a version of you that goes to the movie sets when you're working there. There's a different version of you that goes to church. On Sunday, there's a different version of you that goes with your mom and dad to the, the family barbecues.

And there was a different version that would go with different girlfriends, and different versions for different girlfriends. So it was like, I had so many different versions of my personality. I needed to take all those different versions of me, put them [00:24:00] together, and find the common core. The common, unified being of myself.

And take away all the little eccentric differences between all of them. And allow myself to know who I really was. And it's funny, I pretty much had to peel down my personality to who I was at six years old. That's who I really was.

Kara Goodwin: Fascinating.

Vinney Tolman: Yeah, and, and,

Kara Goodwin: like a child.

Vinney Tolman: yeah, just like a child.

Kara Goodwin: Yeah.

Vinney Tolman: a, like a lot of scripture that talks about being like a child, that that's the way, the path into the heavenly realm, that's how, is we have to become very, very authentic and authentic.

And it's funny in life, the only other people that are very authentic are the very old people. And they act like children too, right? Like, we come in wearing diapers, we leave wearing diapers. You know, it's that authentic, um, real [00:25:00] self that we are at those ages. That's what we need to maintain through our whole life.

But, again, I was like, wow, so it's not love, it's authenticity. He showed me that I was able to unify all the different aspects of my personality and bring it into that six year old self, that real self that I'd been hiding for 19 years, 20 years, and And as I became that unified self, I said, okay, now it's about love.

And, and again, he, he smirked and he's like, actually, it's still not about love yet.

Kara Goodwin: Well, that's what's interesting. I'm wondering, like, do you feel like that was Vinny, like that everybody has that kind of, um, that hurdle to get through to kind of, I don't know if I'm going to be able to ask this correctly, but like, was that Vinny's version like, okay, Vinny, [00:26:00] you've got to like, um,

Vinney Tolman: I've always, I've always,

Kara Goodwin: or.

Vinney Tolman: I've always told everyone that's ever listened to my, my story that this definitely happened to me for me.

Kara Goodwin: Mm hmm.

Vinney Tolman: I don't feel it's anyone else's story necessarily, but at the same time, it's all of our story. It is. But it's not to say that what happened to me is going to happen to everyone else, but it is to say, um, what did happen to me could happen to everyone else.

It could.

Kara Goodwin: Yeah.

Vinney Tolman: it's, it's us understanding this relationship between the physical and the eternal. I mean, we live eternally. Our soul does. And physics has taught us that energy cannot be destroyed. We know that. We know that on the earthly rules that energy can't be destroyed. That means the energy that is your soul, it always has been and it always will be.

And somehow we put all of our focus, our microscope focus, [00:27:00] On the 80 years or 100 years we're going to live here as some kind of, um, and all test. And, and that's what he, uh, Drake was actually getting to is the reason that we're here was the second thing I had to learn. And I had to learn that we were, um, We were choosing, all of us, we chose to come to Earth School, and it is just a school.

The Earth is a classroom, not a courtroom, and it has been from its inception, from its creation. It, I was also shown though, that Earth is way older than we have been told.

Kara Goodwin: Ooh.

Vinney Tolman: And it has been an Earth School for many societies, many peoples, many species. And that we are only in our current dispensation and, um, you know, later, later on after my experience I was reading Genesis where, [00:28:00] where God commands Adam to multiply and replenish the earth.

And I was like, Oh yeah, that means it was already plentiful once.

Kara Goodwin: Oh,

Vinney Tolman: That the command was to multiply and replenish the earth

Kara Goodwin: Oh

Vinney Tolman: like

Kara Goodwin: that gives me chills.

Vinney Tolman: bring life back bring intelligent life back to the earth so earth school is just a school it's a it's a tool a beautiful divine tool that has a supreme consciousness that's connected directly to Our creator and that that's that's what it is though.

It's just a school. It's not a courtroom It is a classroom and um I love that that was the second thing that he had teach me because it caught me so off guard He was he was the one who said And then now it's about love. And I was like, okay, now it's about love.

Kara Goodwin: We

Vinney Tolman: So I'm like, finally, we're there. And, and here's the reason [00:29:00] why I kept going to love as the, the most important principle, even though it wasn't is because love is what is running the universe.

It, it is. It's love that is running this entire system. I could feel the love pouring through Drake. I could feel that he was harnessing that power and allowing us to move through space using love. That, that love paired together with intention, it, it gives you the, the ability to go anywhere in this universe, truly.

Whether it's in your consciousness or in real life, it's one and the same.

Kara Goodwin: Wow. Well, do you feel like the, um, acceptance part and the, um, the courtroom, um, classroom piece that those two pieces were sort of what was standing in the way? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. they had to, or not the, not acceptance, the [00:30:00] authenticity part and the, like the first two where he's like, it's not about love yet. Was it kind of like those had to be like dropped away or so that you could get into

Vinney Tolman: Well, it's kind of like when you're building a house, you don't put the, you don't build the roof and then build the walls. You have to build the walls first and then the roof. And so the foundation is, um, authenticity and then, then the walls of the building are, are the plan. The walls of it are the fact that you're here in Earth School of your own volition.

I mean, I know a lot of religions supremely conflict with this, but it doesn't change. That's what it was for me, at least, is I was shown that I chose to come to Earth. And not just that, I chose to live the life I had lived up to that point. And it was a good thing that Drake was so full of love, because [00:31:00] as I was becoming aware of that, That I chose my life, that was riling up some anger in me, because I've had it, you know, up until I was 14, um, I had a very, very rough life.

Very rough. Almost check every box

Kara Goodwin: Oh,

Vinney Tolman: the abuse column. And, and, uh, that was my life. And not just me, my siblings too. And, you know, growing up in that, um, I would have thought, why did God curse me? Why did God curse me and my siblings? Why, why us? Only to find out, I had to ask a better question. Why did I choose?

Why did I choose?

Kara Goodwin: Wow.

Vinney Tolman: and it's like the divine blacksmith didn't choose the knife to be made. The knife [00:32:00] chose the blacksmith.

Kara Goodwin: Hmm.

Vinney Tolman: And we are the knives. We, we choose our blacksmith. We choose the route, the, the path of creation for us. Because it is our choice to come here and, and to get the things that we want to get out of this life.

I know from this perspective of, of life on Earth, that's a hard thing to hear. Especially for some of us that have had major abuses, major traumas, cancers, deaths, all sorts of problems. And we, we say, why would I choose that? Well, looking only from the earthly perspective, you're never going to understand why.

It's only allowing yourself, number one, to find out who you really are, find out your authentic self, and allow that authentic self to plug into the system that is, plug into this life of Earth School, and, and look at it from the [00:33:00] paradigm of you did select the life you're in, and that allows you to zoom out, and as you zoom out, with the love that you're feeling from the universe, you zoom From everything here and seeing it and it's all permeating everything in this world as you can zoom out that far you can see master plans You can see why and I know for me personally one of the the biggest reasons I had to be an abused kid Is most abused kids are major empaths And as a major empath as a as what they classify as an hsp a highly sensitive person Or a major empath I am hyper aware of everything going on around me.

Kara Goodwin: Hmm.

Vinney Tolman: I can be in a dark room and have someone enter that room that is struggling with their emotions. I can [00:34:00] point to you the direction that they walked in the room, and I can point to you where they sat down. And I've always had that, but it was part of the abuse that forced something like that to come out of me as a skill.

And it's that skill that allowed me to remember my entire near death experience, or my entire after death experience.

Kara Goodwin: Wow.

Vinney Tolman: So to me,

Kara Goodwin: amazing.

Vinney Tolman: the very thing that I felt was my curse was my greatest blessing, 100 percent my greatest blessing.

Kara Goodwin: Wow.

Vinney Tolman: And now who I am today, I thank my creator for giving me my abuser. I thank my creator for that because it allowed me to have this experience. And this experience has given me a skillset that I can affect change and help countless numbers of people with, with not just sharing my experience and story.[00:35:00]

But sharing the things that I learned, the skill sets that I learned from the experience.

Kara Goodwin: Right.

Vinney Tolman: I feel I'm, I'm on a mission, a true mission. I'm on a PR campaign for heaven to help us remember our home. We forgot, we forgot about that love and it is so tremendous. When we have kids and we hold that child, it's not that we love that child so much.

It's that that child is just stepping into humanity through, from heaven. And we, and we remember it. That's why we, we yearn for even the smell of the baby. Like we just, we love that, that beauty, love, and innocence that the baby represents. And that's us. That's our home that they just came from. So that's also why they only come in [00:36:00] babies.

We don't we don't get born as adults. Otherwise, we'd have we'd have some complaining to do We'd be like what the heck Yeah Yeah, the the the amount of love you get in the first second Of heaven is more love than you could experience in a thousand lifetimes on earth that love It permeates everything.

Kara Goodwin: Well, I love what you were saying about with Drake, where it's like coming out of the strands of his hair

Vinney Tolman: Yeah.

Kara Goodwin: you know, and, and so you with Drake, when you were like, okay, when he said, okay, now it's about love.

Vinney Tolman: Yeah, finally we we get to the love that was the

Kara Goodwin: Yeah.

Vinney Tolman: was kind of the the gas um on the car he was able to really push the gas and we started moving and There was a few more things he had to [00:37:00] teach me It would again it would take me hours and hours to go through all of those but

Kara Goodwin: And I, and I wonder if this is one of them and I think it is worth just touching on the judgment piece.

Vinney Tolman: Yes,

Kara Goodwin: I've, I have shared this with people because I found it so, it was just genius, just genius. The people outside. Can you, can

Vinney Tolman: absolutely. So part of my process is as we were getting close to home, close to the heavenly realm, the heavenly space, I could sense it. I could feel it. We were getting so close. And that's when Drake brought in this understanding that, that essentially I couldn't have any prejudice towards anyone. And I felt that, you know, growing up in a A fairly loving, liberal, um, Christian home that we loved all.

Even, I had two Korean, and I still [00:38:00] have two Korean sisters. And I felt that, you know, I'm not prejudiced. Why are we even having this discussion? And I told Drake, I'm like, I love everyone. There's no one I don't love. Even, even as I was going through that, I was starting to love the very abuser I had my whole life.

And even, even having him, I love. But yet, Drake, Drake was smiling and he goes, he goes, that is so wonderful. I, I am so grateful that you have this understanding about prejudice. And he, and he is, he got very serious, and then he said, But Vinny, how do you feel about prejudiced people? And I lit up. I was like, Oh, let me tell you about prejudiced people.

I started to go off about what makes a prejudiced person, how they're so wrong, they're so far off of truth. And, and me, in [00:39:00] my ego of thoughts, I'm thinking somehow this proves I can get into heaven. That I'm ruling out, a section of life. And that's when Drake showed me this little, this like little visual symbol of me as a being.

And I was putting myself on the non prejudiced side, but by me hating prejudiced people, he was like picking up my effigy and putting it over with the prejudiced people. He helped me in, in a matter of a split second, I could see that I myself was extremely prejudiced towards prejudiced people. And I, it, if I didn't have a brain there, you have a consciousness there, but it felt like it was blowing up.

I just felt just my mind expanding to this much greater place. And, and not just that, later he taught me that [00:40:00] as I can release prejudice for all, as a fundamental step for my growth and my own progression. I have to understand that we are all one, all of us, and that for me to hurt or to harm anyone else, it's only to hurt or harm myself.

But it's the same with judgment. For me to judge or to put down anyone else, it is only to judge or put down myself. He taught me the principle of the pointed finger. Where, if I, I put energy towards something, I'm putting my directional energy towards said, said thing, and then a part of that's going up to the etherical, up to God.

A larger part, because your thumb's larger than, you know, thicker than your forefinger. So anything we are blaming, Or accusing or putting on others. We're also putting on God, but here's [00:41:00] here's this The crazy part is flip that hand over and you've got three fingers pointing back at yourself Anything that we are putting off onto the world and and accusatorily Saying to others We are bringing on ourselves three times more

Kara Goodwin: wow.

Vinney Tolman: and that's when Again, another mind blowing moment.

I realized that the pointed finger principle is something we have to use toward towards good like find the compliments in others find the abundance in others find the successes in others and Be the put the focus on the good And it attracts and brings more good. It's not to ignore the bad, but to recognize that we don't eliminate bad by being anti bad.

We do it by being pro good or pro solution versus [00:42:00] pro problem.

Kara Goodwin: Wow. That is really powerful. And am I remembering correctly or did I? Misunderstand, but feel like there was a part where you were kind of seeing people out. Let's call it heaven, heaven, you know, or maybe it was like a building or a temple or something. I'm trying to like the gates of heaven or something like that. And it was like, there were people outside of it.

Vinney Tolman: So yeah, there's, so outside the realm of heaven, there's these big orbs or pearls. They do look like massive, huge pearls that is bigger than a house. Okay. And these massive pearls, they, they're, they're opalescent. They have light inside, like liquid light moving around. And inside each one, each one is like a, a pod to help us release some type of energy off of our Earth life.

Kara Goodwin: like

Vinney Tolman: And it is, it's like a wave station, but they're all over and there's [00:43:00] so many that as you're approaching the heavenly space, it looks like a mist at first. But as you get closer and closer, you're like, well, that's no mist. And and you're getting closer and closer and I'm seeing I'm like, what are these?

These are huge And that's when drake he he let my consciousness like jump into one of these and right there I saw this man from early turn of the century attire Speaking italian. He lived in new york and he thought he in his in his consciousness He thought he was looking at his son and he was cussing him out in italian, but I could understand everything he was saying You He was, he felt betrayed by his son.

He felt like his son's betrayal had ended, ended his life. So whatever had happened to have this man cross over, his son had already been in heaven for a long time, and had already gotten through that, but he himself, not [00:44:00] being, allowing himself to release that, he was there in one of these pearls, these pearly gates, um, exiting that energy off him.

And he finally got to a point where he got done. He finally was like, said the last word he could, and he took this, I'll never forget, he took this big deep breath and he's like, and then his eyes opened up like, Whoa, where am I? He didn't even know he was not on earth still. He, he could only see the vitriol, the anger, the victimhood that he was feeling towards his son.

But the second he, he released that energy off of him, his eyes opened up to see He was not even there anymore. He was in a completely different space. And as soon as that happened, all of these angels came in and around him and then he disappeared. They took him into the heavenly space. And it was like a flicker of light the second they took him away.[00:45:00]

But it was a beautiful thing that there's no room in heaven for victimhood. And if we carry that victimhood on us, Deep we're gonna have to release it if we want to go there. There's no way to bring our victim advocates with us Into heaven it's not possible because that system is built out of so much love the second you Release your victim nature from this life.

You realize there's so much love there. It's it's it's Um, a hundred times greater than, no, a million times greater than anything we can experience here. It's worth going through countless lives of victimhood here to get even a little bit of the love there. Yeah,

Kara Goodwin: Wow.

Vinney Tolman: I witnessed the pearly gate. In fact, I didn't call it the pearly gate.

Later on when I was describing this to one of my friends, he, He's like, Oh, so those pearls were acting like gates outside of heaven. [00:46:00] Were they the pearly gates? I was like, Oh yeah, I guess so. But no St. Peter and no rods. They were just these big pearls. Yeah,

Kara Goodwin: Wow. That's fascinating. And I love that it, it feels like it was just this like holding space of like, there's

Vinney Tolman: it was the

Kara Goodwin: just.

Vinney Tolman: it, the kind of the energy it felt like is if you go to a rehabilitation center here in the, in, in the earthly plane, someone who's getting over an injury or getting over an addiction, but that's what like a rehabilitation center is a place for them. To, uh, release the old way and embrace a new way.

But all built out of love. There's no judgment in any of these from the outside. The only judgment was inwardly. You know, from oneself. That's it.

Kara Goodwin: That's so beautiful. what do you want to share with us about once you got into the

Vinney Tolman: Well, um, I did get into that heavenly realm. And in fact, I was, I was there [00:47:00] for three days. The whole process was three days. Um, I, my body was brain dead for an entire three day period, uh, before I just woke up. And, um, the heaven part is, that's the one where truly I could talk for 24 day, or 24 hours just about the grass.

That as I got closer to this space, I could see that it was actually like mountains and trees and grass and this little river and this little lake. And I was, I was in awe that it was an actual place like Earth. And that's when I realized that Earth is just a copy of that space. Earth is like the little snow globe version of going to, to um, a real ski resort, right?

It's like, it's like the little miniature fake version of what actually is. [00:48:00] And as I, I was getting closer and closer, I was, I could feel the excitement of the space. To receive me

Kara Goodwin: Really?

Vinney Tolman: like I was like like I was some kind of superhero, but I wasn't I knew I wasn't It was me that was getting excited but as excited as I was that space was getting even more excited than me

Kara Goodwin: Oh my gosh. I love that so much.

Vinney Tolman: and it's and it it felt like That space was my long lost twin that i'd been missing my whole life And I didn't know that I was missing it until I saw and started to experience that space And then, oh, my feet, which I did have feet, you have an energetic body there and it looks like your body now, it's just perfect.

And I don't mean like plastic surgery perfect, I mean like perfect. And as I was coming down and [00:49:00] actually making physical contact with this place, this land, the grass reached up and met my toes before they even came down and it intertwined with my feet and like wrapped in between my toes and, and it felt Very much like the Avatar movie where the the trees are like hugging the individual and the individuals like hugging the tree They're like plugging into each other.

That's what it felt like and as that that process was happening for me I realized this wasn't just grass. I could feel God's consciousness supreme unconditional love and individual consciousness in every single touch In every single blade of grass, there was a separate, beautiful consciousness. It was excited, thrilled to be experiencing me.[00:50:00]

And me, I was just, every cell in my energetic being was excited to be experiencing the grass. But the grass itself, it had rainbows, like, coming off of it. Almost like a hot pan. You're cooking on, you see the, the vapors and the air moving. That's what it looked like. But it was rainbows, like little rainbows coming off of it.

And then I could hear there was actual music coming from the grass and it was like a little symphony, um, but a symphony, I didn't know that I love. I just even experiencing it. I loved it. And the second I was in contact with it, I could taste the sweetness of the grass. And the deliciousness of it just by touching it.

And so I'm, I'm, it's so multifaceted and as far as the, the experience, the physical experience in your energetic body there, you're very glad you don't [00:51:00] have your human body anymore because your human body would explode if it got even close to one of these blades of grass. It felt like one blade of grass there had the energy of a hundred suns.

Kara Goodwin: Wow.

Vinney Tolman: Way more energy than our physical body could handle. And so that's why we have to be in the energetic body to be there. There's so much energy in all of it. And, and I looked around and I saw that there was no sun. There was no outside sun. That the sun was inside everything. That the light was inside everything.

was coming from everything, including me. I was looking down and seeing, like, Oh, I'm glowing now. I wasn't glowing as bright as, as Drake. He was still, Like

hearing angels sing. Like, even looking at him, you'd hear angels sing. But, I'm, and, and this is just simply the [00:52:00] grass. And Drake is, like, having so much fun.

He's looking at me, freaking out, like fanboying over this grass. And he, and he, he turns to me and he goes, Vinny, if you think the grass is great, you should see the flowers. And I, I freaked out even more. I'm like, there's flowers, there's flowers in heaven, there's flowers. And then I started to realize they were everywhere, but I hadn't seen them yet because I was so focused on the grass.

And, and so Drake took my consciousness and placed it in the petals of a flower, and I was able to experience it like I was a bee or an insect and just be right there and close and personal to it. And that's when I saw that each petal on the flower had liquid light just flowing and pulsating through it.

And, and, and that's when I started to realize that all the colors there are so much brighter than anything we can [00:53:00] conceive here. And so many more variants. Like, you know, in, in most of your high detailed color wheels, you have about 3. 2 million colors that you can gradiently pick out with technology, not the human eye.

The human eye can only pick out about 100, 000 gradients of color, but this had billions and billions, if not trillions of colors. Just even a single blade of grass had millions of colors in it into the variant and the life living in it And that's that's again when when Drake said you should also see the trees and I was like, ah trees So I then I plugged in the trees I could feel the the harmony of this, this, this big forest.

As I plugged into one, I could feel them all. I could feel the supreme love and excitement of all of them that [00:54:00] here I was plugging into the edge of them. But yet, I could feel the, the individual precious consciousness in one tree. Even in one root and and that's when I got this feeling to look down and I looked down and the water from this little stream Had come up out of the stream and come over to my feet and I felt it ask me Do you want us on you?

And I was like, yeah, of course like heck Yeah, come on

Kara Goodwin: Come

Vinney Tolman: And so that so the water started at my feet and and it went over my toes and Went up my ankle, went up both feet at the same time, it was crawling up, got up to my knees, my hips, covered, covered me, got up to my shoulders, went down to the edges of my hands, covered to the very top of my body, It even covered my face in the water, but, but you weren't breathing there because everything was bringing you life.

And the life was [00:55:00] coming from, from within me. So I was breath and, and it, you know, later on learning about some of the older names for God, Yahweh, one of the oldest names for God, you know, has been known to be called breath. And to me, I, I had a great understanding that breath. Life is life here. Life is breath there.

Kara Goodwin: Oh my gosh.

Vinney Tolman: And

the water, as it came over me, it saw all the damage that I ever had put into me. It saw days and weeks and months of years of damage that was put into me. And it loved it. It kissed it. It cleansed it. It healed it. It purified it. [00:56:00] It sanctified it. And when it was done, I just knew it was done. And it came down off of me.

I was a different person now. And I'm a different person today than I was then. I'm not, no, not even close to perfect. Not even 1 percent perfect. But, I became perfected in that cleansing. And to me, I, I, I believe when we're doing things like baptism, here on earth, we're copying something so precious as what this was.

The true washing, healing, unifying, uplifting, and leveling up that this water did. And that's when I noticed there was a building. And I noticed that it was built out of one piece of marble. The entire building. It was one piece [00:57:00] of marble, and it was a living marble, that it would form doors for people to go in and out of rooms.

And I could see people excitedly walking around, and, and I, I saw that they had to match the excitement of each room to be able to get in the room. And if they couldn't match it, they just kept walking until they found a room that matched their excitement about certain topics or principles or, or whatever.

But I, I could see just this, this vibrancy. an excitement about life in all of its forms, life in all the schools, not just earth school, which there's a lot of schools, more than you can count. And I'm, I'm just in this awe of why has no one taught me about any of this? Like, I thought, I thought I really had learned the most of a lot of things.

I'd even studied a couple of years of Buddhism and was [00:58:00] raised in Christianity my whole life. And, and I thought I knew so much about all of this, and yet I knew nothing. And I, I was just in awe of all of this, as Drake came over to me. He put his arm on me, and he says, Vinny, this is gonna be very hard, but it's going to be worth it.

And he hugged me. And in that moment, I got to see And feel the love that God, Source, Creator, Abun, Abun, which means cosmic birther of life, that's one of the oldest names for God. I got to see what the love Source Creator has for all of us, all of us. We are the trophies, we are. And we run around looking for trophies, we are the trophies.[00:59:00]

And I could feel that in that hug, I was being celebrated, that all of us were being celebrated. And then I started to hear my brother, my brother here on earth, he was saying a prayer over my, my body. I'd been in a coma for three days and he was, he was trying to command me to come home. I felt though, I felt that my agency, my choice was taken away from me right there for a higher purpose.

And I was forced back to my body. My brother said that prayer over my body about just after 10 PM. Then I woke up at one 11 in the morning. I pulled all of everything off of my body, even the clothing. I couldn't have any of the gown. I couldn't have anything touching me. [01:00:00] And then I just stood there and I breathed.

I tried to, to understand why.

I couldn't remember any of my experience yet. I just knew I was so angry. I was so angry. Like, why? I just kept saying that in my head. Why? And, um, I wanted to run, I wanted to leave, even naked, I didn't care, I was like, I'm out of here, I wanted to leave. I grabbed a gown that I found, it wrapped around me, and I bolted.

I went out of the room, I went as far as I could down this hallway, I saw an elevator, I was hitting the down button when When I heard a nurse scream, and then I could feel this new sense that I, I didn't know I had. I could understand that this nurse thought she was going to be in so much trouble. If she had lost this guy, where did [01:01:00] he go?

And in honor of her and, and, and the other nurse too, I came back and I told him I want to go home. And they, they just were shaking their heads, like, that's not possible, you're not possible. And they, for six hours, everybody's saying, oh, you're the miracle boy, you're the miracle boy, I don't feel like you, I felt like the cursed boy.

I didn't know why yet, I didn't know why, I, I still couldn't remember what had just happened to me. Finally, I take all their tests, six hours, over six hours of tests. They can't hold me. I'm conscious. I'm coherent. As soon as I heard one person tell me the date, I knew the right date. Because I didn't know, I thought their date was the 18th of January.

Uh, but it was actually the 21st that I woke up. So, as soon as, that was the only thing I didn't get right was the date. But, other than that, I had everything correct. They [01:02:00] had to let me go. I signed a, a big stack of paperwork. And I left that hospital. My dad came to pick me up and, um, and that next day, the very next day, on the evening of the 22nd, my sister, she had invited me and my other sister and her family out for dinner.

And we went to that dinner and she, she cornered me and she said, she goes, You know you were dead, right? And I go, yeah, that's what everybody keeps telling me. I'm some stupid miracle. I don't feel like it. And she goes, did you have, did you see something? Did you experience something? And I bitterly tried to say no.

And then my whole experience just dumped into me. And it was so much, I couldn't speak. I just started weeping and I left. And I remember her, [01:03:00] her face, like as I just left, I tried to get some of it out, but I couldn't. I think I said, I have a guy whose name is Drake, and I just started weeping, and, um, I walked away.

And now I had this dump of memories, and I, I'm thinking, this is not possible. This isn't what, that they teach us. This isn't possible. So for the next 48 hours, I, I tried to orchestrate my suicide. I didn't want to live. I wanted to go back there. But then, this essence comes into my presence.

And he says, I told you it was going to be hard, but it's going to be worth it. Hang in there. And I looked around and I'm like, crazy. [01:04:00] How am I hearing voices? That's not normal. So for a little while, I treated it like other people that have gone through this. And I went to doctors, um, and they told me that I was, uh, my brain was making up things that my consciousness was making up things that none of these things were And I was starting to believe them.

And, and then I met my wife, um, just shortly after all this. And when I met her, I mean, I could, I could talk for hours and hours about just that experience of meeting her, but as I, I, uh, met her, she brought an injection of that light that I missed from heaven and it brought it into my life. It gave me, it gave me steam for me to continue [01:05:00] down my path, continue on my journey.

And, and she was quite different than any other girl I'd ever dated, and, and a big thing for her was family, and, and part of that was to make family a priority at all times, and, and part of that was to go to a family reunion, and I, that wasn't my thing, that wasn't my scene, but we went to this little town in Wyoming to go to a family reunion, this was in July.

So six months after my experience,

Kara Goodwin: And this was your family.

Vinney Tolman: my family, yeah, we go to this family reunion and, um, and at the reunion, they all tell us go to the high school tonight. They're going to do a show and they're going to talk about the history of the town, this little tiny town called Afton, Wyoming. So we go to this show where, you know, everybody in town is there.

All thousand people in the whole town are there. And we're all [01:06:00] sitting there watching, you know, the teenagers and the high school kids, and even some of the young kids putting on this show about the history of Afton, Wyoming, and, and also the history of the state of Wyoming. And they, they had this big movie screen set up in the football field where they were showing different founders of the towns and different clergy.

And up comes this picture of the first, some first surveyor and also first clergy in Afton. And I wasn't paying attention. I was already distracted. And Andrea, I had had so many discussions with her about Drake. She felt like she knew who you was. She felt like she could recognize him. And she saw him in a picture.

And she goes, that's Drake. I know it's Drake. That's Drake. And I was, I was like, I'll never forget it. I was reaching over. I'm like, That's not Drew and and I couldn't even get his name out [01:07:00] because the second I saw his face I'm like, that's Drake, but how how like how is he a real person? And now all of a sudden I have this second aha moment of this was real But there was a mystery it said his name was Charles.

It didn't say his name was Drake But he had the same last name as my grandmother's maiden name. So we drove straight to my grandmother's house Right there. I, I went busted in the door and I said, grandma, tell me about Charles. Tell me about this Charles Kazar. Who is he? Do you know who he is? And her response was, oh, you mean great-Grandpa Drake, he's a big deal in our family.

And I had this supreme confirmation that I wasn't crazy. Well, not as crazy as I thought I was. And um, I still am [01:08:00] crazy but

Kara Goodwin: all crazy.

Vinney Tolman: yeah. But what was beautiful to me is I now had. very concrete evidence for me, not for anyone else. This was for me so that I would stop discounting what happened to me. And that moment right then and there that night, I, I vowed that I would share this experience and I would honor what they gave me through this experience.

Because I just want to go back. I want to be back where we all are supposed to be. Yeah.

Kara Goodwin: Well,

Vinney Tolman: And that's my experience.

Kara Goodwin: Well, it's Thank you so much for sharing it. And I love how you started everything by saying you're, you're an ambassador for heaven.

Vinney Tolman: Yeah.

Kara Goodwin: and it, [01:09:00] it's so evident, you know, that, Um, that that is what you're doing. You're, you're not only like describing what it is, but you're carrying it in your presence.

And it's so, I mean, it makes me feel homesick and I didn't have this experience. So

Vinney Tolman: Well, that's why we can't remember it. Because if we could, we would do everything within our power to the good or the dark. We would do everything in our power to get back there. If we knew what was there, we could remember it.

Kara Goodwin: yeah. It's fantastic. I mean, it's just, it's so remarkable. I mean, that's not even the. There are days worth of words to describe it, how it makes me feel. And um, so grateful for you sharing it, for you writing your book, the light after death. I know that there were, um, many things that through your experience that you [01:10:00] understand that the times that we're in from perspectives that are, that. Are relevant to now. And I, I also respect that you, you have, um, we're coming up against time. So if you would, if you would ever want to come back and we can

Vinney Tolman: I'd love to yeah, I'd love to

Kara Goodwin: um, yes.

Vinney Tolman: come back and we can talk about a lot of the future stuff Yeah, because in our future Earth as a school there's parts of a the earth school itself that are going to be cleared So that we can go and build new the the That, that we should have been building all along, and that's real community, real community.

When we were kids, when we were little kids, some of us experienced quasi community or a version of community, but real community is sacred space [01:11:00] where we all own our successes and failures together. And that as we grow together in community. We're able to do so much more, and we don't need fences, we have each other, and, and, and that's the future of Earth School, it is.

And, and it's up to us to rise to that occasion with Earth. Earth is doing that on its own, whether we do it or not. So, um, everywhere that we are not in synchronization with this high energy of love that's already built into the Earth, um, then we will be graduated off the Earth. If we can't match it, and that's okay too.

That's awesome. I'm excited about either option, but but yeah I got to see on my way back. So as they were bringing me back into my time And that's a weird thing to [01:12:00] say But you know it's it's kind of like in the old days when you would have a little disc player with a hundred discs And they were slotting me back into my slot.

Meaning there was time before me and time behind me that I could have been slotted into. So I got to see in the immediate future and long term future as well as some of the the truth of the past Not his story or history. I got to see the actual truth of some past events but also some future events that are coming and yeah, from the world's perspective some of those future events will be portrayed to us as It's horrible and bad and scary, but with every swing of Mother Earth's sword comes the opportunity to cleanse, to heal, and to rebuild.

In, [01:13:00] um, the most pristine and beautiful way, with her, with her, with her school.

Kara Goodwin: Well, I can't wait to hear more about that. That's just phenomenal.

Vinney Tolman: Awesome. Well, it was really, really cool to, to be privileged to meet your audience today. And I, I hope if anything, um, your audience can step away with this knowing that, That they are the trophies. We don't need to go find trophies. We need to find this trophy inside and treat it as such.

Kara Goodwin: Beautiful. Thank you so much, Vinny. How can people find, find your work and connect with you?

Vinney Tolman: So I run everything I do including the book through my non profit, me and my my co author Lynn Taylor. We rerun Living God's Light. So livinggodslight. org or livinggodslight. com either one, but Yeah, that's where every [01:14:00] that's all contact events. Everything is there and if you want Um, I do run, uh, quite a bit of stuff throughout the year, but as soon as I post it, it usually sells out, so we typically don't post until we're about to do, post it, and then move on to the next.

But, but each year is an adventure, and, um, all I'm doing is taking everything that I learned from my experience, and everything I've learned since, and I try to teach it to people. I try to help them activate their divinity within them. Because it is there, no matter the worst person to the best person, we all have divinity within us.

And it's up to us to learn how to feed that, how to accentuate it, activate it, and let it grow. And as it grows, all of a sudden, heaven comes alive in us. then you can join the crazy team like me.

Kara Goodwin: Yeah.

I love it. Well, thank you again so much. This I [01:15:00] feel just elated and I'm so, so grateful for you sharing your story with us here today.

Vinney Tolman: Yeah. Thank you. And funny turn of turn of events today is we had talked off camera before this, that sciatica was trying to prevent me from getting into this interview today. Um, but as soon as it started, it stopped,

Kara Goodwin: Really? So you haven't had your sciatic pain during this time? Wow.

Vinney Tolman: not a second. So it's really cool. I love that. That, that the body, the, the humanness, Which doesn't, doesn't necessarily like the spiritness or the, or the spirituality in us. It was trying to, not sabotage, but prevent, uh, something like this. And then, as soon as it knew that the battle was lost, that we were going to do this interview, then it gave up.

I love, I love that recognizing those, those sweet little messages from life that, yeah, sometimes there's some physical resistance, [01:16:00] but, You know, be persistent, go towards that goal that you know is the higher path, and eventually that resistance just fades away.

Kara Goodwin: That's amazing. Do you feel at all too that it might be like you, as you were going back into that story, you were going more into the etheric body

Vinney Tolman: Yes, absolutely, I, I do, and I'm, I'm able to draw a lot of light from my, uh, even telling my experience.

And, and the body, the body loves it, but it also hates it, because the body knows it doesn't go with me when I go there.

Kara Goodwin: Yeah.

Vinney Tolman: But I love the body. Our bodies are our temples.

Kara Goodwin: Yes, absolutely. Well, thank you so much again. What an honor. Thank you, Vinnie.

Vinney Tolman: Thank you. Thank you so much. And yeah, if you want to do a follow up on this one, I'd love to. I love these.

Kara Goodwin: Awesome. 100%. Okay,
