In this riveting episode of The Mid-Modcast, the Mid-Modcasters, Paula, Dave, and Craig explore recreation in Mid-Century America.  From death-defying backyard Javelin Darts to the Hula Hoop, families in the 1950s and 60s knew how to have fun.  

If indoor activities were more your speed, perhaps you could join a bowling league and bowl away your blues.  Bowling is also a great way for the family to bond.  

Of course, entertaining was always a wonderful source of recreation, but you need to be careful not to commit any social Faux pas, wouldn't that be embarrassing?  Mr. Manners (Craig) will share with you tips and tricks, with the help of Good Housekeeping Magazine.  Don't forget to stock up on those Cigarettes and Cheese Balls!
