Confused Podcast Boner

I am middle aged, thus I communicate with many of my friends via Facebook. About a month ago, FB started shoving this podcast in my face. I couldn’t scroll and inch without seeing a “Your Mom’s House” reel pop up. I succumbed to the marketing scheme, and found myself laughing out loud regularly! Naturally, I started listening to full episodes of the podcast. As I was listening to entire shows, instead of short clips perfectly curated to strike a chord with my demographic, I started noticing Tom and Christina making comments or observations that were just so unbelievably out-of-touch, or downright dumb, that I assumed they were being sarcastic/ironic. Soon the show became my “cleaning and driving” choice - that means something in my world. But as things progressed, I realized that, while both funny in their own rights, they aren’t being ironic about the dumb/elitist stuff - they’re dead serious! So, I was a bit put off, and thus I turned off the show. There are so many out there, why settle? I set out to find other comedic podcasts that could scratch the same itch, but much to my surprise *and* chagrin, I missed this show. The current plan is to continue listening, enjoying the many laughs and relatable moments, while keeping a puke bucket close by. Thank you.
