The rising cost of living is pretty much on everyone's mind these days, particularly when it comes to food. Recently the federal government unveiled a suite of measures to help Canadians get by. Your Eager Beaver and Mr. Grizzly bring you facts first to inform you on what is included.

On this flagship episode, we also talk about Hurricane Fiona, the results of a very rare referendum in Cuba which ties in with a segment from our most recent extended interview with noted human rights activist Murray Billet about the upcoming 25th anniversary of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation being outlawed in Canada, and of course some cool news about Black Canadians and athletes who make us proud.
