If you happen to be the target / victim of a hate crime, report it to the police, every time; if not for you, then to create a record that will help the next person.

Write to your MP, MPP, MLA, MNA, Senator, or preferred local media outlet to tell them you expect them to take a stand against racists and bigots and stop normalizing intolerance of minorities as "just a different view that should be accommodated."

Finally, support your fellow Canadians by donating to the Red Cross Wildfire Response.
