(Recording Dates: March 14 & 16, 2022)

In this episode:

We have our look at the new a "you're on your own" phase of  COVID into which our Premiers are forcing us and once again, recap the heart breaking situation in Ukraine.

And those two things alone were enough to fill up a full show.

The firehose of news just doesn't stop these days.

Not everyone can do everything. But everyone can do a something. Because we believe that “Democracy Is Something You Do”, this week we have two suggestions for things you could do:

1) If you want to let a certain nation know you're not on their side, feel free to e-mail a package of sunflower seeds to:

ATTN: Ambassador Alexander Darchiev
Embassy of (you know where)
285 Charlotte St, Ottawa, ON K1N 8L5

2) If good care and treatment of animals is a cause dear to your heart, Veterinarians Without Borders Canada is working with Ukraine animal shelters to get them emergency food, water, and the basics for survival. If you can help, the link will direct you to their donation page.

Finally, on a lighter note, we want to know: What are you looking forward to most this spring?

You can do that via our show’s Facebook blog page on via Twitter @TrueEager.

Of course, retweets, shares, gentle corrections, constructive criticism, compliments, tips, requests and positive reviews (if you think we deserve some stars, please rate us) are always welcome.

Until then, be kind to, and gentle with, yourselves,

Your Eager Beaver
