A cargo ship just hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore…
Multiple cars reportedly plunged into the river.
It looks like the ship lost power 3 times on the approach and was unable to steer away from the support as a result. This occurred around 1:30 am, loss of life could have been much worse had it happened at any other time.
Looking at the footage, I can't determine how many vehicles were on the bridge at the time, It doesn't look like there were any, however, that remains to be determined.
